If i remember, Kunoichi's voice actor was hired ages ago (before the character famitsu period)... Because it was on her resume.. (G.K. Bowes) Who if i remember voiced sun sheng.. which confirms that we are getting sw1 or warrior orochi va's.. So im not sure if its the va's that are taking a mega long time or something else is going on ..Im still keeping my spirits up that we will get it ...And you guys are getting me all wrong here.. im not trying to start a fight, or be an a*s.. i just dident understand his first post i replied to as it seemed contradicting to me... Stop yelling at me about his lack of time issue.. I also dont understand people losing intrest before playing it... But fine.. il stop. .As i said, im a very arrogant stupid person, dont get to hot headed.. Edited by Joetri10, Wed Feb 10, 2010 7:21 pm.

We're all arrogant, so no big deal. I know my ego's about the size of Saturn... okay, maybe Jupiter. (Or Betelgeuse teehee). Also, someone remind me, how long was the release of the Japanese SW2 to its localization. Wasn't it a pretty long wait too? |

Thanks for the stats on all three of them. I forgot XL took so damn long... but then again, SW's XL are usually worth the wait (well, depends on your opinion of the matter. I preferred SW1XL over SW2XL, but that's just me). So, really, 3 months and no word of a NA/EU/AU release isn't that farfetched, if you take into account the last SW games. It's not like things localize themselves overnight... and if they did, could you imagine the quality of it? |

In the past, the SW series has had better localisation than the DW games anyway (Generally, at least). I wouldn't be surprised if the western release wasn't announced for a couple months or so. |

I have notice the game gets easier and easier after each generation. The officers hardly fight back at you! Remember in SW1 when an oficer would use their Musou with no warning, in SW2 and 3 they do the charge thing which is stupid if you ask me. I think SW3 should let ALL officers in the game be able to do ther Kadens, Musou, and Edgi with out warning. Thats my opinion for a game about war

Hyper-powered generals do have the ability to use an Eigi attack on you. Of course, their rengi gauge is visible once you encounter one of them. Otherwise you'd be facing a hyper-armored Tadakatsu who will definitely withstand your normal attacks when he's charging for his musou attack. |

Yeah but the sense of it being hard is fun!!! It would get boring if the game was easy. I know some officers can use the guage and its visible but it be nice if ALL officers could do that. |

Haha, all officers, you say? My apologies. Personally I wouldn't mind having it again since SW1, since it does give a good challenge with the suspense around. Sadly, that's all SM3 has to offer. Hopefully chaos provides a challenge or two with the new features. :\ |

i lost considerable interest when it was fully confirmed as Wii exclusive (not Wii bashing, its just absent.) I have still followed the art, famitsu leaks, etc. I still have some interest, but the pragmatic sense of playing other Warriors first SF2, SF(PS3), Troy, before it is ported. Although I will be sad that I cannot play the Murasame Castle- maybe premium DLC (costs money that can go to Nintendo). There are some innovations I wish to explore firsthand, but I HAVE TO wait until a port. |

Chaos actually pretty hard, consider you lost your heal quickly(SW1 is way slower) and can not find field items on troops anymore.Plus, there are absolutely NO skill system exist.SW3 pretty much is waaaay harder than SW2.But SW1 stages are more tricky, sometimes you will curse the challenge mode. And if the officer can you the reigi gauge, they'll just waster it.They just dash dash dash until the reigi ran out.But that gauge of their sure are filled with sonic speed. So my oppinion is if you want war, just hit the hardest mode. And just don't make it sound ridiculously difficult because not everyones are hardcore players |

(not trying an argument) It is true I should try harder levels on the game but it feels that easy mode is WAY too easy. In SW1 on easy the game was still particulary hard. Why? Because enemy officers fight back with all they got, just more or less on the difficulty. Also the higher the level of the character the higher the level of the difficulty so that also contributes. I just wish officers on any level would do the same capabilities as all the other characters on any level. Im not making the game sound difficult, its not THAT hard. If it does well these are just words and they are just explaining the subject. |

Didn't I say not everyones are hard core gamer ? Many many many of my friend tried SW1 after SW2 and they say, this game is way harder. Many of them just gave up.If you mention SW3,yes the officer do fight back with all they got, that why we have the reigi eigi thing to keep our lives. If your want enemies really smart like SW1 and DW3 with a good graphic,motions,effects....You can see what happened to DW6 right ? I don't say I don't want the game hard but Koei don't make games for only you and me.They need to earn money to work their butt. Not everyones want to try Murasame(my my,why do you need to complain when you already have this @@) |

Do you really mean Nene, or do you mean the character in the pic... because thats Kunoichi. And Kuno does look aswesome in her other designs ..Also i am a semi-hardcore gamer, i found sw1 harder then sw2, but once i got the Sw1xl game, i found the game much easier because of the level system it fixed but still much harder then sw2 Edited by Joetri10, Thu Feb 11, 2010 3:40 am.

About easy difficoulty: I know when I first started the game, I usually push myself through the stages on easy, because I'm story-addicted. After that is done, I go through normal and later perhaps on higher settings. If you think easy is too easy, go for higher settings. If it were too hard my sister wouldn't play it for example and she is a VERY casual gamer. She actually dies on me on easy while I happily bash up soldiers once in a while. => The easy mode exists ONLY for those who play less or are casual gamers (or story-pushers like me). The 'normal' gamer should go for 'normal' of course

Out of curiosity, could someone with both SW2 and SW3 and video capture and editing stuff make a side-by-side video of the two games? I honestly haven't really felt SW3 as that excessively slow from the videos I've seen, but maybe a side-by-side comparison of various characters could show how obvious it is. I realize this could be a big endeavor, so I apologize in advance if it's a pain in the butt to do. |

Once you get to playing it, the slower framerate of SW3 isn't all that noticeable. It's really only really easy to see on certain attacks, IMO? I haven't played the game since a little after it came out though, so I'm probably not the best judge. |

The officers that use Eigi in this game seem to have an infinite amount of it. The gauge is just a formality, plenty of times I have seen them with an empty gauge and they continue to use Eigi on me. The only time the gauge seems to matter is if they have it full, which gives them access to Kaidens. Difficulty wise, it's easier than Samurai 1 I'd say...for different reasons. Dynasty 3, Samurai 1 and Gundam Musou 1/2 like to drag a fight out of you. No holds barred endurance matches. In this game, every attack stuns you as you go up in difficulty. The peons do their best to lock you down with never-ending strikes while the generals deliver the main damage. Often times you can't get any charge attacks off (Except for charge 1's) just cause they interrupt you at the right time. They attack often enough that it's challenging and they do finish attack strings and juggle you, but they're out to lock you down and not beat the hell out of you. Beating the hell out of you is the secondary objective, the first being to not let you do a damn thing. It's the "don't get hit" style of play but... done right as opposed to how Dynasty 5 did it. The enemies aren't lifeless at all, they just aren't as fierce as the above listed games. 2nd best... but still a pretty good 2nd best. Multiple times if I don't position myself well the AI will easily keep me locked down until I say screw it and Musou them. Again, having 3 Musou's instead of one long one of 3 sections works out better in this game. |
