=( It is so quiet nowadays on the SW3 board. This is the first game I followed online, and I thought once it was released- more people would talk about it, then when it was released in UK/USA, it would be even more. It seems almost the opposite. My thoughts of state-side release.. June/July or later. |

Well, seeing how we pretty much gained all information already and thanks to Tetsuo and Seraphil we already got a pretty good look at gameplay and all that, there is not much to discuss. I could of course fangirl all over Hanbei and all that, but... Not much point in that, is there? Also that's what a character club is for ;P |

Well... This board will explode into life when the release date is announced. Anyway, isn't the EU release date for Koei games usually somewhere behind the US? |

Games are always released in US before EU unless they come from an european developper. So we, European, must wait longer. I think it is because, we are in 50 Hz and the market is not as big as North America. Sometimes games are localized either and we use so many languages in Europe. Koei has stopped dubbing its game in any languages: the last time I played a Koei game in full French (either subtitles and voices) is SWXL. Since DW5 it is just subtitles that are in French. Surprisingly all is in English for any version of SW2 (normal, XL and Empires) stil WO/2 and DW6/E are subtitled in French... Quite weird but as some translations are... debatable, it is ok for me if they keep it in full english!! Still, I can't wait for an understandable version of it! as my wife wanted a Wii for valentine's day, I know own one so I will be able to play it when released in EU. Though I still think it was a bad move to make it Wii only in the first place. Maybe there will be a Special version cutting Murasame and bringinig back musou modes for the lacking characters and Musashi, Kojiro, Gracia and Goemon (why does he seem forgotten?) |

^ And stopping dubbing was a GOOD decission in my ears. The german one was crap with a few exceptions. Recently the releaste time between of US and EU release in Koei's case has gotten shorter thought. Last time I bought a Koei game - I think I was DW6 - I decided against an import because the release for europe was already announced and not too far away. |

Haha, in the german dub DW3 Liu Bei and Gan Ning were voiced by the same guy who voiced Fry from Futurama. So I somehow couldn't take them seriously on the battlefield ![]() But I'm getting off-topic. I would say SW3 will be released by no later than one month after the US release! |

Yas, the fact they stopped dubbing is sometimes good. DW4 in French was horrible, SW was ok I guess, but SW2 was waaaaaay better. It shortens the release gap between EU and US caus they just need to make one PAL version, so it is also better for us European players So can we expect SW3 before summer? I sure hope so, I will have plenty of time to play it this way! |

German dubs, unless made by Disney, have always sucked in my ears. At least that's what I think when I was watching American made movies/tv shows in Germany. They had the same four, five cookie cutter guys, two different women, and a lot of it was just bland sounding. Then again, German humor =/= American humor, so even though I understood what they were saying, the jokes themselves were changed and therefor not funny (to me, anyways). For example, Family Guy in German is just PAINFUL, especially all the sexual innuendos. They turned the cockpit joke into a coffee joke... I guess the Germans like to make fun of the Italians? I wouldn't know, since there's an obvious difference in cultures there. If DW3 English was bad, I can only imagine how bad the German dub must have sounded. |

A littile off topic, I own Devil kings: in the PAL version we can choose subtitles in different languages, while the voices are always in English. Capcom does it quite often. Maybe Koei should do it as well! I don't mind the subtitles being in French, but sometimes the dubbing is so bland, even ridiculous at times: in SW Ranmaru had a female voice! I prefer is teen voice in English. The worst was Okuni so high and yet so ridiculous. Argh!! Please Koei, don't localise too much. keep it English if you want but no more of this!! By the Way, still no news about an US/EU release? I'm waiting.... |

Phew, it's been a long time since I've talked on this topic, lol. Only thing is... nothing seems to have changed on the topic. No new news. I'm still waiting for the US release date. I was hoping it would be out this March (my birthday is in a couple of weeks ), but it looks like I may have to remain patient for a little bit longer.

She also appears at Mitsunari rescue stage (dunno which side). And I'm also wondering this too, since there are no dream stages this time (her appearance mostly limited on those and survival mode missions). |

Yes it is, that's where I got it from. Well I think Okuni should appear in stages where are are only one or few unique characters in the enemy ranks. |

Not sure about this, but did this game bring back counter? They had counter in Sw1 and took it away in Sw2 (except for people who had the skill; keiji and mitsuhide) |

And Musashi. I don't think that counter is brought back since no one has mentioned about it, and besides I've not seen it in any gameplay videos. |

Another question ![]() What is Hanbei's R1 attacks? O.o All I could recall is him moving in the air, since he's a special type isn't there another, if so what s the other one? |

His other special is that he holds his shield/sundial thing in front of him and the blades spin around like a buzzsaw. I'm not sure how long it lasts for but I don't think he can move while he does it. |

Taken from my big *** post on the specials earlier: Hanbei - Special 1 makes him put his weapon in front of him and spins the blades, repeatedly damaging any enemies caught in front of him. Multiple presses gets you the full 3 cycles of attack, massively damaging anyone caught in them. Officers do get opportunities to block in between the 3 attack cycles, but the third one will break guards if it lands. Special 2 makes him put his weapon above him and spins the blades, letting him float around as long as he likes as long as he isn't hit. He can do jump attacks out of it. 2 presses makes him travel around faster. You could realistically float around the entire stage like this. He can turn during special 1 but he won't change his location. Also from my big *** post a few pages back: Block any attacks coming your way with exact timing and enemies will stagger, giving you an opening to get started. If you are able to block between attacks, this is the only way you'll counter. |

As far as I know, I don't think it actually sucks their musou, it regenerates your own if you and your enemies are inside the field. It does make a sound effect that sounds like "sucking/draining" though. The more enemies in the little field, the quicker your musou gauge regenerates. |
