No, it's not. When it comes to KOEI games, we usually get them one week after official PAL release date.

*coughs* Actually she bought it and the Wii from an online shop and according to the last e-mail she'll get it (the game) already tomorrow or on saturday. The Wii already arrived.

Online shopping does pay out, I suppose.

That always bugs me when we get Koei games here in Finland later than most countries.

Every KOEI game ive pre-ordered from GAME (WO2, DW6E, SWSF pap, DWSF ps3) has came 3 days earlier than the release date! Not the case with SW3 though, it has only been shipped today which means i should get it tommorow. Im soo excited :]

That's news to me. I've bought various Warriors games online and from local stores. They've always received first copies one week late. Not a big deal, though. If I really want the game ASAP, I just head to GAME UK or Play.

Don't feel too bad. Here in the Land Of Oz, we're waiting two weeks. Though it's not always that bad - people can't seem to keep it straight what sort of region this is supposed to be.

I'm pretty sure come tomorrow, there will be a flood of people and this thread will be active again.

Just a bit bummed that the US release won't be for a while, but only because now I'm forced to get the game by, ahem, other means.

Kyl mä jossain vanhemmassa topicissa kerran mainittin sulle, muistaakseni? :o

Okay, back to topic, I wonder how are the stage names translated this time? I.E in SW1 there was Yamasaki but in SW2 it was Yamazaki. Just a minor thing but it just came to my mind.

Yeah, I could always import and mod my Wii. I mean, if I blotch mine, I still have both my brother's and my boyfriend's Wii to hold hostage. Not like any of them are using it...

If anything, SW3 will bring life to my Wii again. There's only so much Muramasa and SMG2 can do to keep it from collecting dust (my xb360 and PS3 are devouring it as we speak).

I'm hoping that we'll at LEAST get a release date, if anything. It's going to happen after it's released in EU, so it's not that much longer of a wait. I'm rather hoping it's NOT at the same time as SB3. Not for competition reasons (I could care less who sells more), but time reasons. I don't want to have to chose between which one to play first... if it comes down to that, sorry, SW3 will always be touched first. Nothing against SB3, but... dammit, I really want my SW fix!

What I'm hoping for is at LEAST two weeks to a month difference between them. It's already bad enough that SW3 might have to compete with Epic Mickey and (maybe) Zelda, but throwing in Portal 2 and SB3 for my other consoles into the mix and that's some serious time issues I'll have to deal with. So many fantastic games, so little time...

@Chibi: I think a certain plumber and his pet lizard-dinosaur thing would like a word with you.

What I'm wondering is how they'll pronounce some of the names this time, specifically the battles.

Compare SW2------SW2XL & WO and note the capital letters in which the syllable is exemplified:

OkehaZAma-----OkeHAzama
KawanaKAjima----KawanakaJIma
NaGAshino----NAgashino
Komaki NaGAkute----Komaki NagaKUte

Little information, I think that some will be disappointed: The online mode is only possible for Murasame Castle. It is not possible to make a fight with another player. There are three options available to you for the online mode: "Choose from the list of friends," "Choosing a quest with someone of the same country" and "Choosing a quest with someone from anywhere".

I'm a little disappointed about the online gameplay , I thought it would be like this :

Online

-story mode
-vs mode
-free mode
-murasame castle

but at least there is an online gaming .

thanks for telling us Fantaji

At least it's co-op. Previous games such as SW2 (360) and DW Gundams only featured Vs. modes for online play.

We already talked. There's not much else to discuss between us. (Edit: I like it... but I doubt it'll keep the Wii alive all summer long. XD I can never get 100% stars in those games.)

---

And I still could care less about the Murasame mode, so no loss on that being the only Online portion of the gameplay. I think I'll survive if SW3 doesn't have big online capabilities.

It looks like Samurai Warriors 3 is about to make a big splash on European shores tomorrow morning. However, I’m more curious to see if the new voice actors in this sequel can match (or even surpass) the performance standard set by the cast from the previous installment of the series.

just looked at the news... damn it!

ok, this is pissin me off... its bad enough japan gets all the fun and glory when it comes to all these new games... but why in god's name... is EUROPE of all places getting so much attention?!

why the hell is europe getting tons of special gatherings, early access, and so much other crap, while america is left behind in the dust?

this country sucks enough, and now i cant even rely on games to bring me any hope because we're the last thought on anyone else's minds...

japan and europe get huge celebrations and parades, special items and collectibles when these games come out, and when its FINALLY time for america to get one... ppbbt! they just toss the game to us after its been exhausted and no one cares about it anymore...

...meh, anyway... so europe gets this damned game TODAY, huh?

when does it come to america? august 28th 2011?

oh, i know... america isnt even getting the game, is it?

^ If you were stalking the stread you'd know the answers to all the questions you made.

And europa getting tons of special gatherings? I must be missing out something. It's the same Koei stand as every London Expo, just having the game on the day of the release playable (which makes sense) and might actually have something to do with EU getting it first - thought that is spectaculation.

That's it. LONDON or UK is having a gathering. Zero action for all others -.-

EU is getting the attention US is usually getting. *Shrugs* just for once things are reversed. You might try asking Koei why that is that way, but I doubt you will be getting an answer.

US game release is planned for fall this year. That's the info we have at this point.
Spectaculations are, they try to estimate if and how good the game will do in US according to how well it does in US. For whatever reason.

Answered your questions?

Got the game yesterday and have already played a bit. I'm not sure how much is known about the game, I haven't been to this forum a lot, so you can ask some questions if you want.

Ok...

I've just been round 7 shops in my hometown that stock games.

0 have SW3 in stock
1 has never heard of it
1 says that it has been cancelled
1 shop was shut.

Is the UK getting a short-shift? Koei?

Does anyone else here in the UK have it / seen it?
