=/ i wish i had sw3 but i am allowed to order online but i've never done it before. anyone wanna tell me how =P
You can try Amazon or Play.com I'd recommend the latter though. All you'd need to do is create a account and input your details and then search for SW3 and click buy. If you order it now, it should come late Monday or early Tuesday. (Once the order has been confirmed and is packing that is.)

Also, I've just completed Ryokosame Castle and also completed Takamaru's second mission, it was a bit easy though. (Unlike his first one!)

I didn't find either of Takamaru's first 2 missions to be particularly hard. It was the final one which was a pain in the ass. Especially before I got a good speed, lightning weapon and gauntlets that extended the time allowed between combo hits.

I've got it now (from game.co.uk, after failing to find it in Gamestation). I'm only just starting Kato, but the mechanics seem alright. The Tactical Advantages are nice. I know you kind of had behind the scene things like that, but I like specifically knowing doing something will have a reaction. The multi-part Objectives are always good in SW games.

Something awesome happened as Kato, some NPC away on the battlefield fulfilled one of the Tactical Advantage things. I normally expect nothing good from the rest of my army, but that made it feel like maybe, just maybe they are doing something on the field. It was little, but good.

I like being able to see which characters and upgrades I still have to unlock, but I prefer the DW6 style unlocks where you fulfill an objective and acquire the character.

That's just my first impressions, I've yet to even try CAW mode, but look forward to it.

I've got Sw3 now... unlocked everyone, done about 15 stories... But the final Murasame Stage!!!!

HOW DO YOU DO THIS???!!!!!

I have a level 50 Tadakatsu, and a good weapon with bolt element, but the generals are near unbeatable!!!

I did get to Murasame once... but I found that when I destroyed his 4 blue jewels that protect him, they RE-APPEARED!!!

Help, please?

Have a LOT of patience. I completed the mode in the Japanese version after MUCH rage and annoyance so I was NOT going to do that again this time. Used cheats (super speed and infinite HP) to try and go through it fast and it STILL was annoying as hell to play though. Don't even wanna imagine who aggravating it must be on Nightmare difficulty.

Finished Hanzo, Yukimura and Ginchiyo last night.

I really like Ginchiyos story, and her ending, its really sad, something i would never ave expected Ginchiyo, but because of my rule finishing all musou modes with default characters before using buying locked ones, i cant play her husband who i am most eager to play as. I have only got Kenshin and Hanbei, not sure on either of thosee two characters, never really liked Kenshin :/ but never played Hanbei so it will be excting

I actually liked Murasame Castle for being the first real challenge in a koei game. I've completed normal as well as nightmare difficulty. The thoughest part were the Takamaru quests by far.

Murasame himself isn't that hard. You make him ram the walls on one side of the stage by which two cannons are revealed. With them you destroy the altar. Finally you blow out his blue lights, the two on the horns being the last ones and rape him when he's down on the ground. One or two rounds should be enough.

challenge is one thing... but when theres fire everywhere.. or archers throwing stuff at you.. bomb people all over the place.. ninjas everywhere... every sec a peon hits you if your in a crowd... oh and it doesnt help having to protect someone who turns into your shadow and cant actually attack... not to mention the officers ganging up on you with that death element... thats not a challange... thats a test of endurance... how long you can keep from smashing you controller on the wall o.o

Wow, Musrasame Castle is that difficult? Well, then I'm doing that last :P

@Mitsuhide M: Yeah it's a great game so far. They improved the story a great amount. The implication of the cannon is cool. I haven't encountered the hawk at Odawara castle, yet. So I can't say something about that gimmick :)

Really not surprised that Murasame is difficult; it's one of Nintendo's franchises. Nintendo, famous not just for their good games, but their difficult ones as well.

So far I've done, Yukimura's, Hanbei's, Nobunaga's, Kanetsugu's, Kai's, Oichi's, Ginchiyo's, Mitsuhide's, Hideyoshi's, Ujiyasu's and Im' halfway through Shingen's.

I was going to do defaults first, but after due to Seraphils suggestion of doing Hideyoshi's before Kiyomasa's and Mitsunari's, I decided to do his first, and also I was nearing the 999 rice limit, so needed to get rid of it fast.

After Shingen's, I proberly do Kenshin's to finish off the Kanto Three, then go on to Hanzo's, then Kiyomasa's to finish of the defaults. Then I'll either do Muneshige's or Mitsunari's

Yeah, Murasame Mode is quite difficult. I'm having problems with the last stage. Only managed to reach the second floor thus far ... =O

The archers, sumo-guys and bombardiers are annoying as hell. xD

btw
Am I wrong or could it be that on the normal battles your own army soldiers only consists of weak footsoldiers and rarely some archers, too?
The enemy however always has the sumo-guys, bombardiers, flute-monks and these ninjas who disappear in the floor. =O
I've yet to spot one single of these units in my own army ... or am I just blind? xD
It bugs me as it is kinda unfair. ^^

It's always been that way in SW1 and SW2. Your allies simply get the useless peons while you have to fend off the enemy ninjas yourself. Although the Kyoto stage on Okuni/Goemon musou modes in SW1 are certain exceptions...

Does anyone know if there is a Stat limit break for the CAW characters?
or are they just able to reach the set limit and obtain their set weapon only?
