That's really a lot, huh... I'm sorry for you. But you can still do the other half of the stories you haven't done yet.

Sorry to hear about that joe if you decide try again ill help you run through murasame and help you get all the tanuki.

for the others wondering what they do.

Tanuki on normal:
Gems
Takamaru Levels - which in turn gives unique armor
Matsukaze (collect all 54 tanuki from the 18 stages)

Tanuki on Nightmare:
Gems
Takamaru levels - which in turn gives unique armor (different from normal mode)
Castle lord character models for CAW, there are 4
Bear saddle (collect all 54 tanuki from the 18 stages on nightmare)

P.S. Matsukaze is worth the time spent collecting the tanuki (plus you going to have to collect them sometime for completions sake.)

Yesterday I decided it was weird that the English version had a voice option and the Japanese version didn't...

that is all.

I finally managed to beat Takamarus last mission and get his 4th weapon and Matsukazi(sp) after so many times of trying! :3

Does anyone bother with historical mode?

Of course not -.-

I just haven't posted anything in a while and decided I wanted to post something. Waiting to play this game is becoming irksome...and the only thing that will keep me occupied is another game...but alas, I am a poor poor man.

Is there any word on when its going to be released in the US and I missed it? Or is it still the speculated September or August or whatever?

Anyone know or have list of SW3 english voices?
I watched some videos and I can't wait for this game, it's looks really fantasic :D .

@Mr.Kamikaze: I wonder about it too. If we have JPN voices then why they don't have english voices?

@Joetri10: Oh thats bad, I hope you still have the game :(

XD its annoying but really... everything i did before was quite easy... i was more angry at myself about what i did then anything..
But hey! atleast it wasnt my orochi 2 data.. Which ive spent way to many hours on it then i can think possible.. xD!.. Il prob get to where i was in no time.. Just with different armor and lower lvs :(..

Always remember to back up your save data. -and bring a towel.

<gets beaten up>

sorry- But yeah- repeating everything in Warriors games stink.
I had all the weapons and everyone leveled up in DW3/Dw3XL Mostly finished in Dw4XL, Dw5, SW2- and memory cards were stolen- along with the PS2s and games- GRRGG!!!!

At least its easier now - the data is on the machine- but what happens when the machine breaks down?

I tried a few battles. It's an ok addition, but story mode and murasame castle are far more interesting ;)

I'm re-asking what someone asked before xD

Is the Murasame castle available for offline co-op ? Or is it just single player ? :D
It is avaible for offline 2-players. My friend and I tried a few missions for fun.

I did one go-through with a CAW and it was interesting to see how things came together for him and to see the interactions between the musou characters at the ending dialogue of each battle.
After you play through one round you unlock more battles it seems, but I haven't gone back there to try them out yet.

The stories of the characters that intrest me most are majorly through. All musou characters are unlocked (thought not played through) on my save so far.

Oh and Hanbei (my obvious favourite) and Masamune (my friends fav) have had their max stat limiti unlocked already :D

I'll probably go through with Kenshin to see more of Aya and then try CAW Mode again.

Also, Ujiyasu is great. His sexual indos are ... interesting. His comparisson of Yoshimoto and his wife (saying something that they do look very much alike) is making me feel sorry for him.

By now I find myself unexpectly regretting a character to have no story. Kotaru. I thought it was enough for him to be included in Uji's and Kai's (not yet played) story and into other characters too, but...
Now that I've seen him and heard him and all that, I can't help but sigh at him being without one.

Also regretful is that some characters refuse any kind of interaction?
See, I saved Nene once from dying with Hanbei - No word of thanks. Even a CAW will get thanked.
Same with Nobunaga going to save Hanbei in one battle (against the Takeda cavalery if I'm not mistaken) and also getting no word of thanks.

When I played Hanbei and approached Nobunaga at one time I know they talked to each other, thus I'm finding this even more weird.

gezzzz ouch O_o i could not handle that..

But yeh if systems breaks down, your in trouble... But i had a problem with game cube memory cards when i had one... It kept wanting to re-format.. I hate relying on tec stuff xD..

if the machine breaks down however.. the data is still on the hard drive... its just a matter of getting it out.. Or atleast i think so anyway..

Is it just me? Or is Takamaru's and Kunoichi's Specials glitched? Or is the text wrong?

Speaking of bugs, I encountered a minor text glitch during Nene's story mode, and one of the Tactical Bonuses say "Defeat officer X and Hideyoshi's marching speed will decrease" yet when you complete it, it says INcrease... (And of course he gets a speed boost)

That's all so far....

I found a text glitch at Komaki somewhere.

Still I've unlocked all characters, all CAW weapons, done about 30% of Historical Mode, and just got Muneshige and Nagamasa's story to complete.

Speaking of which, there are 9 pages of cutscenes, but what are the ones one the final part of page 8 and on page 9? I know I have not got the Murasame Ending yet, but what is the other slots for?

Thought I'd give my take on the voices, mind you I'm only going by the select screen clips.

Yukimura: He sounds like... well, like how Yukimura usually sounds if that makes sense :P

Keiji: This voice sounds hella better than his SW2 one. Kind of a 'playful brute' sound to it.

Nobunaga: Good voice, fits him quite well.

Mitsuhide: Was not what I was expecting him to sound like. The voice doesn't fit the character IMO.

Kenshin: Usually I don't enjoy his English voices but this one is awesome. He's got that dangerous undertone to him.

Oichi: Fits her. Going by memory it sounds similar to her SW2 voice actress.

Okuni: It's along the lines of her SW2 voice. I mean, after SW1 it could only go up from there right?

Kunoichi: I liked her SW1 voice and this one isn't bad either. You can kinda hear the playfulness in her tone.

Magoichi: Works well with the character and that's a good thing.

Shingen: I liked Shingen's voice in SW2... but that might've been all the jokes he was cracking. This one... I dunno, for me it sounds a bit forced.

Masamune: Fits with how I view the character. Young and brash.

Nouhime: I might be one of the few who thought her SW2 voice was downright sexy. This one is good as well and makes her sound older than in SW2. Perhaps what you'd imagine a sexy MILF would sound like?

Hanzo: His rules. The actor isn't trying to force himself to sound mysterious.

Ranmaru: This is absolutely a woman voicing him. Works well too, as strange as that might be to some.

Hideyoshi: I liked his SW2 voice but this one is a bit too 'monkey-ish' for me.

Yoshimoto: I've never used Yoshimoto unless I was forced to but his voice has always been humorous and that's probably what they strive for to begin with. This one is pretty funny too.

Tadakatsu: SW2 made him sound like he was forcing out something on the toilet. This one is forced as well but not as bad.

Ina: She sounds a bit too youthful for me. SW2 made her sound like a mature warrior while this one sounds like she could be a part of Kunoichi's band of ninja-babes. Still, it's not like it's completely horrible.

Ieyasu: SW2 was better. Actually, the more I think about it, the more it seems like his voice would work better on Shingen.

Mitsunari: SW2 voice was the best. Bar none. This one is stylishly similar to his WO one which, going from SW2 to WO, had me going 'Huh?!'

Nagamasa: Wow. He sounds like a Salarian from Mass Effect. Just a tiny bit lower in pitch.

Sakon: He sounds okay but again, his SW2 voice worked a lot better. Still, not horrible.

Yoshihiro: This guy is not someone I use often and I didn't like his SW2 voice. In SW3 his voice is awesome one of the best and actually could also have worked for Kanbei as well.

Ginchiyo: This lady has been one of my mains ever since she was introduced and her SW2 voice was great. She sounds well done in here as well.

Kanetsugu: His voice would actually have been better for Mitsunari but it works for him as well.

Nene: I liked her overly sweet and motherly tone from SW2 but in this game she sounds a bit more mature.

Kotaro: Doesn't sound like he's forcing the 'chaos' every time he speaks like he used to.

Toshiie: I don't remember his SW2XL voice at all but this one is good. I like it.

Motochika: They should've given his voice to Sakon or something and kept the one from SW2XL because that one was fantastic.

Katsuie: I like it. The VA isn't trying to force himself to sound like a devil and that's why I think it works.

Kiyomasa: You know, they could interchange his and Sanada's voices and you wouldn't really notice anything too different.

Kanbei: Voice doesn't fit the character IMO. I was hoping for something a bit more sinister than what we got. One of the ones I don't like too much.

Muneshige: Wasn't this guy compared to Honda? Then how come he doesn't have any kind of threat in his tone in the least? :P

Kai: Her voice could easily fit Ginchiyo or Ina. It's got that 'fierce woman' sound to it.

Ujiyasu: This voice could have worked better on Tadakatsu. Sounds a bit too 'rough', like the VA's a wannabe tough guy.

Hanbei: Thought it was gonna be some kid's voice doing it but this voice sounds older than how he's portrayed in her. Odd and doesn't work for me.

Motonari: One of the rare occasions where I like the English voice better than the Japanese one. Actually, this voice could have worked on Mitsunari as well.

And that's that. Remember: I haven't gone through stages with anyone yet so this is just going by the selection screen. I'll edit them once I play through with people and if they're better/worse than what I initially thought.

Hmhm, I see the place has become lively as expected. It figures Koei would stash the JPN VO option back into the game the one time I decide to import the original for fear of the english VO's. But, it's appreciated anyways. Now watch it be gone for another 3 years before we see it again.

September release date for the states eh... Just like Samurai 2.
