Sounds like WuTiger is playing Kunoichi's version of Osaka, which is arguably the most ridiculously difficult version of that stage.

Yukimura's version is a lot easier.

The Tokugawa variants, on the other hand, are generally easier in my opinion, but Yukimura tends to be an issue, especially during the section where you're trapped into the castle while Yukimura is free to charge Ieyasu unobstructed.

I do notice I tend to end the Tokugawa side with nearly everyone dead except myself and Ieyasu, while on Toyotomi side I tend to have more survivors.

Agreed that Kuno's is definatly the hardest

It takes the the awesome charge part of Yukimura's, and the defend everyone of Kai's, and turns it into one hell of a difficult battle.

I've only done Hanzo's Osaka for the Tokugawa, which was fairly alright

Took me 4 attempts to do that stage. Am I the only one thinks that allied ai is significantly worse against enemy officers?

Yes, Kunoichi's Osaka stage was definately one of the hardest stages. I think no other stage I had to replay that often. xD

I think the best way to clear that stage is not to follow the main mission quickly. Instead try to clear as many enemy officers as possible.
The best time I think was, when you were required to meet with Yukimura. Defeat every officer possible at that time before meeting him.
Should make everything a lot easier.

i tried that once but it ended it before i could hit the other one which would of took less then a second... and his range isnt great and is slow... and if you dont have full eigi or w/e its called... theres no way you can do that.... you have to do about 7 stupid missions in a row and if you mess up just ONCE!! its all over... i truly hate games like this... they shouldnt make you do this.. And this combo rubbish needs to end.... they better not put it in sw4.... Im really tired of getting combo's..

That vid is old news... they just stuck on the E3 website, not to mention some of the obvious or stupid comments made by people on it... and the 5.5 rating...

Nothing new there :/

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2010-samurai-warriors/700907

If you click that which is the same vid but different comments and an even lower rating.. you can see that we are the only ones who actually understand and appreciate these games... The comments on this one are ridiculous...

Wow... Yoshino?!

I never noticed that one.

And you are right, it is her...

I think this is one of Koei's "Easter eggs", you know, secret content in games. Oh, Okuni appears in Kunoichi's final cutscene as well.

Not sure what you are getting at there... but hang on, don't they look similar to the women in Hanbei's opening who are playing arund with Tatsuoki Saito  ... I am sure I saw a couple of familiar faces in that scene...

Hm, here's my opinion of the voices.

Yukimura-Don't like it. I didn't like it in WO, and I don't like it now. It just doesn't have the same feeling as his SW1 voice.

Keiji-His is okay. Not as good as SW1, but I can live with it.

Nobunaga- See reason for Keiji.

Mitsuhide-His is awful. SW1 was best.

Kenshin-His is pretty good.

Oichi-I like hers as well. It suits her.

Okuni-Eh...I'm so-so with her.

Kunoichi-I liked it in SW1 and WO, and I still like it now, even if she does sound more like DW6 SSX.

Magoichi-Again, so-so.

Shingen-His is good, but not as good as SW1.

Masamune-He doesn't sound as whiny as he does in WO, which is good.

Noh-I like hers, even if SW1's was better.

Hanzo-Don't like his. He sounds like a robot.

*skipping a bunch*

Nagamasa- Seriously? This is easily the worst voice so far. Sappy or not, at least his SW2 voice wasn't like this.

*skipping more*

Kiyomasa-I can probably get used to his. I won't be playing as him much anyway.

Kanbei-It doesn't seem right for him now, but it might grow on me.

Muneshige-No...just no.

Kaihime-Hers is okay.

Ujiyasu-Again, his is okay.

Hanbei-See reason for Kanbei.

Motonari-I love his voice. It sounds so calm and nice.

Aya Gozen-Hers I also like. She has the best voice of the females, in my opinion.

Masanori-Don't like it, but it suits him.

So that's what I think of the voices.

I don't see how people always seem to prefer SW1 over SW2 in terms of voice acting. I think the only ones better in SW1 were Magoichi and Keiji and maybe Yoshimoto.

^ I dunno, I personally think every voice in SW1 utterly destroyed the quality of VAs in SW2 save for Okuni, Ranmaru, and Hideyoshi. And at the very least it was actual, quality VAs instead of the no-name troupe using laptop mics to record for SW2...

Hondam, it's not cool to make junk up when there's hard evidence to the contrary(we've seen photos of Agilesound's recording equipment which is the same as any professional studio's.)

I also think it's very rude and shallow to judge people because they're not "high-profile." There's plenty of "high-profile" VAs that flat-out suck, and there's several instances in SW1 of just that. And those same "actual, quality VAs" came back for SW3(many different, but all from the same pool of "pro" VAs) and have given us this rather terrible performance.

There's also the fact that Agilesound went the extra mile to actually research the time period and game's background. What professional studio does that? From all the interviews we've had with guys like Kim Strauss or that one site by Michael Mconnohie, no pro studio ever does that.

I also find it interesting that you're still the only guy I know who likes ALL SW1 VAs and hates ALL SW2 VAs. Everyone else I've seen give an opinion on it is always a "most" or "some" person, even myself.
