I have never seen lag on the orochi games or sw2 on 360.....maybe they just need to make this for PS3 or 360! Im gonna have to get a Wii just for this game.......and Wii doesnt have trophies.....sad.
Warriors Orochi 2 had lag on Chi Bi in every version of the game, including the 360 version (which I heard they patched). The level was just plain poorly coded.

Hmm, I wonder if they even tested the level at all. I don't think they would've let such lag in the stage... Or maybe if there was just simply too much going on in that stage and they didn't want to remove anything?

They kind of did x3 See WO2 PSP

Back on topic though, nice to see a positive review, I just hope that people will spend 5 minutes of research before assuming these kind of games are bad. :(

WO2 PSP does not equal MOZ.

MOZ includes the scenarios of WO1.

I am getting more excited to play as the Snake Daimyo (Ujiyasu Hojo)

I guess you cant really call say sw3 has lag but if you are prone to switch between sw3 and another warrior game, its going to play on your mind because when you go from sw3 to another warrior game, your going to think its going to fast and then when your done with that and go back to sw3, your gona think its going to slow :XD anyway the only place ive ever only found lag on a warrior game was Warriors Orochi 2 one the battle of chi bi.. when you get on land..
Noticed that right away. I went back to Dynasty 3 and Gundam Musou 2 for a little while. The speed. Thankfully it only took one map for me to get reused to the different rates but I never thought I'd see one of these games moving "that fast", haha.

Man so if you go from strikeforce to SW3 is it like mind numbing slowness? Lol

If you take advantage of using the chain dash tech to continue your combos, it moves a lot more fluidly and is more exciting. In fact them adding Eigi is one of the best things they've done with the game to make it surpass the older forms. And with Gundam 2 and other titles having a similar paced feature, Koei really cannot afford to revert back to older slower times, especially if they want to compete with the hectic Sengoku Basara series.

In the meantime I've done 20 stories. Currently with Ginchiyo. And another note loving the fact you can damage enemies on the floor and further beat them to a pulp, her C1 has become so much more beneficial with killing them off or lifting them.

I dont use the dash technique a lotbecause i like to have a full spirit gauge incase of a super musou attack haha, I am currently on the new guy with the bow weapon, dont know his name Motonri? Well i think hes great, his weapon has lots of range and can kill enemies in attacks

Yeah well I like to keep my mind on using Eigi instead of waiting for an Ultimate Attack. You can fill your Spirit Gauge up by using your Musou anyway.

That person is Motonari Mori. People have taken a shine to him because of his calm clear voice.

And sorry Yoshihiro and your giant hammer, but another old man going by the name Ujiyasu Hojo has taken your spot in my top 5. Giant hammers are cool, but this guy with a pipe and one of the best C2's ever is now currently in the lead. And Jump Charge for the win.

I'll agree about Motanari. It is also easy to fill the Eigi Gauge with his musou and extreme combo's.

As for Ujiyasu. he is FUN. You forgot the shotgun, grenades, katana, baseball bat and headbutt attacks. Not bad for an old man!

I have completed almost everyone’s story.. i have only a few left, about 5..

I feel its important to note that its confirmed or at least 95% confirmed that Okuni does appear in only one stage and the stage she does appear in is rather a filler then anything.. A battle called Rescue Of Mitsunari*... And even so, she has rather no point in it other then to be a filler character, she doesn’t even have one line apart from when you defeat her with either Magoichi or Keiji (maybe others..)
And ofcouse as you guys know, she is also in a cutscene but just barely... She really is not very important.. i have only played her in one stage however... and i didn’t see any of her witty dialog with other characters.. but she might have some..

But she is in muramasa mode a few times.

Something else I’m happy to brag about.. is how much koei loves Magoichi.. He is much highly praised from almost everyone when hes on the battlefield... and even though he’s story is rather dull.. they didn’t make him overshadowed... Someone even called him lord Magoichi... I didn’t know he was a lord '.'.. or maybe i just don’t know what that means :XD ..
Maybe its just me who thinks this though
Go Mago...Go Mago... Woooot!!

Okuni has special dialogue with Masamune Date I believe in "Rescue Of Mitsunari*. Okuni is also in Kunoichi's "Behind You Always" final cutscene. I think thats what Joetri means.

I've done all stories and am currently on the historical mode Osaka battle which is ridiculously hard... beats Kunoichi's version even.

Yeah I noticed that about Hojo's weapons. If only he used his pipe somehow (except for obvious use)! :XD

He's really not that quick though. I did redo his story on hard difficulty and so I can't imagine on his last completing all tasks plus bonuses without being a very high level. You have to beat that guy at the start in a single minute, then Tadakatsu in twice the amount. I'm guessing that's what the item which increases your attack speed is for. Defeating Honda!

Many characters get addressed as Lord, I believe. I think Yukimura saying Lord Kanetsugu is one of them. I think it's just a way of them referring to them as their equal or superior to seem modest rather than it being a position in rank. But I could be wrong.

I think they've tried something a bit fresh for Azai. Beforehand he was just all heroic and in love. This time he seems more innocent, as people have commented in-game, but still heavily relying on in love. Often making himself look silly like misinterpretating Hideyoshi's jokes and like in his opening cinematic.

And yes like SW1, Nobunaga unsurprisingly takes the spotlight and is worshipped. And I do rather see him as a key figure in the series though, he's one of the first characters I think of. Koei have giving him a foresight personality to make him seem superior to most (he could even sense his own death at Honnoji according to Lady No and himself!). Not forgetting his infamous ''Is that so...?'' quote which he repeatedly uses to further back this statement.

Yeah I do know what you mean. I can remember the likes of Mitsuhide and Nagamasa supporting Nobunaga Oda and admiring him even when up against him after leaving his force. It can feel a bit much at times. Though there's still other characters that also get overpraised like Yukimura and Tadakatsu.

Well, Mitsuhide always had his giant Man crush on the Oda. Nagamasa was legitimately torn as he didn't wish to betray his loyalty to either side.

As for overpraised, haven't I heard Magoichi is pretty much the poster boy for overpraised in SW3?

I haven't yet played Yukimura's story or Kunoichi's (his close subordinate) and from what I remember from the other stories Yukimura doesn't seem terribly oversexed.

As for Tadakatsu Honda... well, he's Tadakatsu Honda. I actually feel he deserves all the praise he gets, in his story at least.* He really gives off an impressive sense of power.

*Seeing as I beat him with low level Okuni... :uh:
Okuni doesn't actually talk in that cutscene...

There is this huge debate about the voice-acting, and I have to say it is a mixed bag. Mitsuhide's voice is quite good once you get used to it, and some others are significantly improved. Nene doesn't sound like as downright creepy as she did for with her high pitched "I'M GOING TO SPANK YOU!" voice.

SPOILERS:

I do feel that not giving Toshiie Maeda a story was a missed oppurtunity. Ironically, he pretty much had a story already plotted out through Keiji's tale, as seen through Keiji's eyes. He starts with his Katsuie at Okehazama, protects Katsuie at Tedorigawa, defects at Shizugatake. (I never expected that), and his death leads to the further crumbling of Hideyoshi's empire. Missed oppurtunity, Koei.

Yes I think you're right about it being a mixed-bag. There's high level profile people in there, but perhaps taking the wrong roles, as some have mentioned before.

I was a big fan of Mitsuhide in SW1 which had a lot to do with Michael Gough playing him. I just liked listening to him. But since then his voice seems to of gone downhill for me, I tried really hard in SW3 to listen to his new voice positively, but it's not been easy. I thought of it as just trying to ''get used to it'' and not be so rash.

Whereas there's other voice changes that seem to fit despite being inferior (in my eyes). Hideyoshi had a great voice in SW2, I really enjoyed going through his story. Then came along the likes of Warriors Orochi and we know what happened there... Ugh. Though now in SW3 it's not so bad, although you can see it being fitting to his monkey-like persona.
