I'm looking forward to Tadakatsu's in particular. If it's even half as good as his focus stages in Warriors Orochi (as his Big Bad Invincible Hero portrayal, that is) he's set. I loved his Hinokawa dream stage in WO2 so much I still play it every now and then just to get that feeling. |

^Then you're going to be happy. I've replayed some stories such as Yukimura's, Tadakatsu's and Ujiyasu's because these are among my favorites. Since Yukimura's because he's always been my favorite individual, Tadakatsu's because his presence is seemingly glorius like his appearance and theme tune suggest, and Hojo because he's likely my favorite guy out of the new bunch. Currently replaying Kiyomasa's, I really like the man. I'll be grabbing his 4th weapon in the process. Also something I've noted. It seems rather too easy to acquire a character's third weapon, anyone agree? I pretty much snatched one as soon as the first battle. Edited by LittleDragonZ, Tue Jul 20, 2010 3:49 pm.

Do their movesets still grow with a level up, or does the weapon dictate the moveset like it was in DW3 and SW1? |

Sorry for my ways. I'm an old man who's still in the past which means I was referring to base attack (in this case Power). Although I had noticed the three types. ![]() Thanks for correcting me. Edited by LittleDragonZ, Tue Jul 20, 2010 4:33 pm.

Finished Ieyasu's story mode today, and so have completed story mode for each character. Now just have to do them 100%. Currantly doing a story/free mode for Toshiie Okehazama > Tetorigawa > Shizugatake > Komaki-Nagakute > Odawara Castle Then i'll proberly do more historical and Murasame. |

Hey guys. I'm just wondering how difficult/confusing is it to use the wii remote+Nunchuk for the controls? |

Does anybody else think there might be a reveal at the game event later this year (can't for the life of me remember its name) about SW3 coming to the PS3 perhaps, just a little curiosity ?Currently doing a video about the characters, would love to get a hands on feel before I finish . A little doubtful, but you never know?

You mean Tokyo Game Show? I'd rather Koei not opt for a port so that time can be spent for DW7 or DWG3. |

Yup, that's the one . I know what you mean, I would love them to just get in with a DW7 too, don't know if it'll happen though ? Hope this time they don't build us up to knock us down, but that's a different topic.A SW3 port would be good, they do port of many other things, don't see why this shouldn't happen .

The most logical reason is that Nintendo is extremely stingy. Perhaps, just this once, Koei has absolutely no say on what they want to do with the game. Not that I'm complaining or anything, I only own a Wii anyway, and the only other port of SW3 is the upcoming one on the 3DS, also a Nintendo system. |

I wonder if what Nintendo and Koei want clash with one another ?I heard about the 3DS version. I wonder if it'll sell, because many would have already bought the Wii version yes? And if you've unloked almost everything, you wouldn't want to start over just for better visuals right ?I wish there was a port, I think it'd sell well if a PS3 and/or XBox 360 version of the game came out. I was skeptical at first, but now I don't mind using them, it's what I've been using. The only issues I've had is with the number 2 button being too awkward to tap to get to the start menu like for quick saving. And instead of using the dash command which is the direction down button, I'd accidentally horse whistle instead which is the left directional button. |

I've had similar problems like using up an item rather than call up my horse and the zoom map and menu buttons are a heavy accidental press for me... I would recommend getting a classic controller which me and my bro did, but playing with a wii remote and nunchukus isn't hard to get used to really... |

As I stated in the controls thread, I'm going Wiimote/Nunchuck all the way. Playing with an entirely new controls gives the game a much more "new beginning" feel for me. |

Sorry I made a mistake. It's not instead of using dash but it's the charge attack, I would horse whistle accidentally. Which is through the default control setup. Those are the only two problems I've had with the new style of controlling a character anyway. Get a controller if you can, but don't fret over using the typical Wii method. I think the 3DS version will be different- just like the Dynasty Warriors "ports" on PSP. And I have bought the 360, PS2 and PSP versions of WO2- still would have preferred WOZ on PS3. |

I don't think the 3DS version will be like that. I mean, doesn't it run better than the Wii does? It shouldn't have any problems running as a full Warriors game. I've been waiting for that on handhelds because every portable Warriors game besides Strikeforce has BLOWN. |

Now Ina is my first character to get a gold Cleared title, as I've completed all tasks on my second playthrough on hard mode. She's also level 50 and has her 4th weapon, as well. Spoiler: click to toggle

I simply mean that likje Dynasty Warriors Vol 1 (PSP) is different from DW4- although it has the same character designs, weapons movesets ... And Dynasty Warriors Vol 2 (PSP) is different from DW5, but has the same charcaters etc. I'm simply assuming this based on the title- its Samurai Warriors 3DS- not Samurai Warriors 3 (3DS). it makes a difference- itrs not going to be an exact copy. After all PSPs can handle WO fine... |

I'm confused about the Weapons. I've heard some say there's only two models, yet you unlocked the 4th weapon? |

Uhhh.. i dont understand about the model part.. but il go through this... AGAIN.... Right ok... The weapon system is now like Dynasty Warriors 6.. Each character has 3 different types of weapons... They are one of the 3 weapon models from sw2 (If they appeared in it).. They are.. Normal - Standard weapon, mid base attack and speed.. These look normal Speed - These are faster but weaker than the normal weapons.. These weapons often look blue but keep the look of the weapon... Power - These are slower but stronger than the normal weapons.. These look red. (So the weapons under go the colour change like the free mode characters on Dw6) Then there are unique weapons which are the 4th weapons from Sw2 meaning they look the same from Sw2.. These will be either Normal, Speed or Power type.. It depends on the character. To get these unique weapons you must do all the Tactical Bonus missions on a certain stage in story mode on hard mode(or above).. (And you don’t need to worry about the main missions).. (Note - i could be wrong about the colours... I think sometimes they are green, i think it depends on the weapon) Edited by Joetri10, Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:11 am.
