Finished Kanbei's story and I must say I'm impressed, he's already became my favourite, the writing is definitely a step up from previous game.

I rather disliked his SW2 ending
Wait how can you dislike it, it was almost 3 minutes of epic stuff! I think Nobunaga' SW2 endings was among the best in the game (like his opening, too).

Can i use Takamaru in Freemode? i can't seem to find him
Is he only playable in Murasame mode or Do i have to create him? (If I do this would this mean he won't have his flame wheel attack?)

You can use Takamaru in free mode if you collect 33 tanukis in Murasame Castle.

Weapon... I have it all!

Finished normal Murasame mode with all 54 Tanuki and got Matsukaze.
The castle took me a bunch of tries, so I stopped to do the Takamaru stages and see if the equipment there would help me out.

I leveled up Takamaru to about level 8 at the first stage after Akasame Castle, since it has a bunch of generals but isn't too hard, and then just ripped through all 3 of his stages. The first two were really easy (thanks to his special), but the third one gave me a bit of trouble. Overall, I found that killing Kato and Fukushima together easier than killing Ishida in a single combo, especially with a weapon that gave me spirit gauge refills as much as possible.

After beating those stages, I went back to Murasame Castle with Kotaro after that and equipped the new stuff. I figured if I was low on health near then top floors, I'd just fight until I died and use the armor's freebee resurrection, but it actually never happened; I had an exceptionally good run with a level up on the third floor, no less! I think the trick I found with it is to take it slowly and draw people away from groups.

After that I went on to do Kiyomasa's story and was pleasantly pleased by it; I think the characters really have a good set of relationship stories.

Finally started Kunoichi for the fun of it, and I have 2 things to say about her:
1) She is quite the **** disturber.
2) She is quite the blender. If you give her an ice weapon, you can make daiquiris, I think. But seriously, given a death weapon and an ultimate musou, there are very few enemies that can survive that.

Agreed, her last weapon gives her musou a major range boost :XD

I did one level of Murasame Castle, not too thrilled with it but then again, I wasn't excited for that mode at all. I'll focus on story modes first then try to get some work done there- I can live without Matsukaze for a little while, considering most missions can be accomplished on foot or on another horse.

Finished a few more stories, got started on Ujiyasu. Hands down, my favorite new character... HE IS SO RIDICULOUSLY FUN TO PLAY.

Now that I got a chance to work at the store this weekend, I personally had to go and find the 4 copies of SW3 that we received.

Someone else stuck them in a box labeled "Hold Oct 3rd"

It came in the same box as Quantum Theory and the box was clearly marked "Release Sept 28"

*sighs* Wal-Mart

@Siege ramps, like DW6? No, haven't seen them.

@Level w/ Eagles- Odawara Castle definitely has eagles. Only used it with Hanzo and Nene though... haven't tried it with anyone else.

@Cannons- Honestly? Hate them. The ones you use in Osaka Campaign isn't bad, but using them against the Mouri boats in that level whose name escapes me at the moment was a pain in the ass. If you're going to use this kind of mechanic, ADD SOME GODDAMN CROSSHAIRS.

Shoot, there's only so much trial by error I could do with that level... almost wanted to ragequit so bad. Doesn't help that peons will take potshots at you. Realistic, yes, but tedious and annoying. I can understand using the cannons against the boats and the wall, but did I really need to use the cannons against the soldiers?

Couldn't I have just ran out and defended him myself?

I don't know, I can see where they'd be fun, but maybe I just suck and can't aim a damn cannon right. XD

I got this game over the weekend and I'm surprised how uber Kanbei is, athough I can't complete hs story because of Osaka... I haven't won it yet I hate it. Ieyasu dies almost every time I am just about to kill kiyomasa/yukimura/kunoichi

I hate the cannons, especially in Murasame castle when you have to destroy the floating things, -___- got past that part after I don't know... like 20 tries. =/ I also hateee the Osaka campaign, ugh all my allies keep dying ( KAI ! ), I never can go save her in time.

& im guessing there is no way to save Nohime & Ranmaru ( favorites ) in Honnoji, I've tried so many times to go save them but they keep getting murdered by Mitsuhide & Motochika. =/ Oh well though, Honnoji is my fav. stage in the game.

& Murasame Castle final boss, omg I had to redo the final stage soo many times because i didnt know how to beat the final boss, how was I supposed to know there was a cannon behind the wall & where I had to him ? O_o

But even with all this I still love the game dearly.

Wow... Muneshige... is like the incarnation of BLAH. His moveset is good, there's no doubt, but his story, his personality... he's the human equivalent of a brick.

Spoiler: click to toggle

I think I liked him better as an enemy NPC, when I could imagine he was Superman and Ginchiyo was Wonder Woman. Well, that's the way they seemed to come off at the time.

There were some stories that were merely meh, but this is the first one that made me angry.

I like Muneshige, easily my favorite character of the new guys, and probably overall. He has a really good moveset. His story was pretty lame, I think the point they were trying to get across was that he was a very carefree "let the leaves fall where they fall" type of person...

But it's true nothing really supported that, so his ending was not very fitting.

So of the new characters, Muneshige is easily my favorite. What about you all?

Oh man, I just finished his story earlier today and this is exactly how I felt as well. So so disappointing.

Also did Motochika's and Shingen's today, but thankfully both of theirs were pretty enjoyable.

Ujiyasu, without a doubt. Fun gameplay, interesting character personality, and a pretty damn good story. Only complaint is his running stance, but that argument is null and void the minute he attacks something.

That, and he made Kai and Kunoichi shut up in that one cutscene. Damn clucking chickens...

See? Here is a gamer who has her priorities straight ;)

But I agree, Ujiyasu totally has stolen the spotlight from pretty much everyone with his shear awesomeness. I also really like Kiyomasa. Kiyomasa has a very solid moveset and his story is pretty deep when you get past all the fool-play. Really makes you wonder if he made the right decision or not. His C5 may be a bit OP, though.

Then again, Ujiyasu's Special is OP if you have a death element weapon...

I shake my fist at you all *shakes fists*. I glad you all are enjoying it but I'm still a little po'ed at koei for releasing this for just the wii (A PS3 port is looking unlikely by the day since dw-online, Gundam Musou 3 and DW7 are at the forefront.)

Oh well like I said, I'm glad you all are enjoying the game

I am not as bothered by Ujiyasu's walking stance as I am by Motonari's.....something is wrong with that guy....
