& Murasame Castle final boss, omg I had to redo the final stage soo many times because i didnt know how to beat the final boss, how was I supposed to know there was a cannon behind the wall & where I had to him ? O_o
I got tipped off by the cannon being back there from other posters here... but it turned out in my case the cannon didn't help me at all. In fact, the cannon almost got me killed.

Fortunately when I dueled Murasame I didn't have to crawl to his pad more than once, although he had me to my knees to the very end.

Would nene mutliplying, transforming, and performing someone's kaiden work?
Multiple Ujiyasu's bomb? O_O

I don't think that'd work. I tried to pull it off but the minute I did my ultimate musou I reverted back to being Nene.

In SW2, she couldn't mimic their charge attacks (the new ones added for SW2XL) and she couldn't use their specials. So, I am going to guess she can't copy their Ultimate Musous in SW3...but, I am inclined to try.

Ahh Does anyone know an easier way to get Nagamasa and Motonari's 4th weapon Dx?

the only problem I have with both is the time limit for the last tatical mission (there is no slow time item on these levels either T_T)
Should I play two players with someone?

and

If I were to start a level, quite a level and start a level again...would the items change?

I have some question:
1. Does anyone know what's the function of MobileJOY in SW3 Japanese version? (I can't read Japanese)?
2. How to get a lot of rice rice after we finished all story mode?

Do you mean the 3 items that available to choose? I think they won't change..

SW3 is freaking awesome! *Got it last week, also got black listed for making preorders at gamestop just to get it last Wednesday. Me and Gf beat all 30 stories within a week, working on 4th weapons and Murasame mode*
I have to say though SW3 is a master piece. Koei's best Samurai Warriors out at the moment! The Wii does it good the graphics are awesome. I mean sure there are a little bit of flaws but definitely worth getting a Wii over! ^^

The cannons are used to hit the pillars on the right & left corners, I found that out after watching a youtube video.

Nightmare mode is another story, it's impossible for me to beat. I've done every murasame stage with Nohime, but I think I might have to use Kunoichi since she can turn invisible.

Oh I have one more question. Is there ANY possible way to rescue Nohime & Ranmaru at Honno-ji ( Oda side ) ? I've tried many times to go rescue them but they keep getting killed. I think they were meant to die in the battle, but they're my two favorite characters, so is there any hope in rescuing them ? I hate seeing the message " No / Ranmaru has died in battle "

I still haven't finished Murasame, the third bonus level or the actual Murasame castle itself, as the undead soldiers just wipe the floor with me (last castle :( )

I've beaten 8 stories now I think. Still going pretty slow, but I've really liked it so far.

Motochika has officially been dethroned and is no longer my favorite character. :o After playing Motonari's story he is 100% my favorite character in the SW series. His story was awesome; I loved his lazy yet for peace kind of personna. It would've been cool if his story was more historical, but he was awesome nonetheless. And his moveset is really cool too. I love how he's short and long range at the same time.

I ended up doing a bit of Murasame Mode since I wanted to play Motonari more before playing another character. The mode is okay; the lack of voice acting for most of it really takes away from the fun though. It's a bit bland. I'll have to do it to at least unlock Takamaru outside of Murasame Mode though, and I want to get some new items.

Same here Motochika isn't as fun to play as that much anymore
and Motonari is Awesome

His weapon was fun to get to (Id always had to protect the Tachibanas :meantongue: )

btw I am not sure anyone said this yet but i'll mention it...

It seems that for no story mode character (noh, ranmaru, etc...) , when getting their weapons second player can help out. I was trying to do Ranmaru's weapon by myself, but I couldn't do it so I had a second player to help me. We divided the tactical bonuses .... and at the end of the stage, I got Ranmaru's weapon

Would this work on story mode if two players share the tactical bonuses? :ph43r:

Is it just me, or does Ina just feel better in this game?

As for Motonari, I really wanted to see Motonari unite the islander characters. It would've been fun to see the Tachibana, Shimazu, Chosokabe, and Mori all on the same side kicking the mainland's ass.

But that didn't happen :(

Yes, you can use a 2nd player for the weapons in story mode =].

& for Mitsunari, having a 2nd player would be helpful, have them use a swift character ( Kunoichi, Nene ). Hope this helped. =]

is going to like, destroy the minds of some Kuno/Yuki shippers. Or vice versa, depending on how you look at it. Also, I look at it this way, I would probably treat the cut characters a different way: In that, I mean, I would make up stories for them, and treat Murasame Castle and Historical Mode as their stories, you know? I heard from GameFAQS that using a free mode character on certain stages results in duplicate characters? i.e. Noh at Honnoji, Katsuie at Shizugatake, etc.

I really want Nobuyuki in SW3XL or SW4. They put more emphasis on Nobuyuki than ever before, so I think his chances of inclusion have become higher. If Nobuyuki isn't add by at least SW4, I will be a bit surprised.

It would be nice for people to realize it's possible for a guy and girl to have a relationship that's NOT romantic.

I didn't think Yukimura and Ina were romantic...it just didnt strike me as romantic until i read it here. Came off as rather platonic to me. They were family, it made sense she was so concerned about him.

In any case, Yuki was a filler for the affection that could've gone to Nobuyuki...therefore, we need a Nobuyuki....cause he is cool, and I have been wanting him since Sw1XL...and I am selfish...

Include Nobuyuki would make Tadakatsu's praise for him at Ueda castle less awkward.
