As for that scene, yeah, I half wonder if Masamune was popping up somewhere in there. He's going to send the lawsuit ninjas after them if they keep this up; that's HIS annoying catchphrase you're abusing!
Haha, except Masamune uses "bakame". So he can fight it out with Sima Yi, another fan of "bakame". That or they can team up, I somehow think that's more fitting.
Ah, I tend to forget there's a difference between them. It's been too long since I heard SW in Japanese... I kind of still have hope for them keeping the original Japanese track when they release it to the States. I doubt it, though...

Why would I be mad? There's enough difference between them to be different characters, so there was really no need for drastic changes. Ginchiyo and Mitsuhide have katana, but they play differently. See? I'm not mad... should I be?

It's true... except Date's true rival would have to be Excalibur from Soul Eater (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AXoH3jb4J0)

But it's funny, on one hand I really want to see everything that is being revealed; I really want to see more of the stages. We got to see Anegawa with, what were those, river-bombs? but the other stages have been small areas; no way to see if they look better than SW2 or not. I hope we can get some nice views from cliffs at the stage below it.

Edit:
@Chibi:
Because of your huge, uncontrollable She-Hulk Smash Rage, of course. "GRRR CHIBI MAD! WANT MORE DATE! WANT MORE NENE! SMASH!"
hehe

@Chou Hi- Yes, I did say I would She-Hulk if Nene was cut, didn't I? I'd like for there to be some more updates with her, but it's something that's out of my control. When the videos and artwork for her come, they'll come (and that sounded bad)... I'll only be disappointed if Koei chose to ignore the possibilities of the cat fight between her and Kaihime, in which... well, that's just out of my control. I wish they'd grow balls and just run with it. It'd be a fun story...

As for cliffs, I'm certain there might be some; Motochika's stage had a huge cliff in SW2XL, and MitagawhateverthatTokugawastageis was known for its terrain, so I'm certain they'll be there.

Using the same maps is not a problem as long as the stages themselves are different from each other. Once again, SW1 works as a great example. Many of the maps were the same yet each stage was unique. But then again, SW1 also featured a great missions system, something which SW2 lacked.
I didn't like the mission system because the battle relied too much on them (i.e losing a few important missions resulted in defeat). In SW2, the battles had much more freedom (which I liked). Failing most of the given missions didn't matter that much.
For me it's the opposite. I liked it when you had important goals in each stage and if you failed in them, things became much harder. More freedom in SW2 was a nice touch but the result was less unique stages and repetive stories (read: Tokugawa characters).

But I understand what you're saying and that's why KOEI should try to create some kind of compromise: have stages were completing missions is essential and stages where players have a lot of freedom.

I'm glad to see that we're finally seeing some new things in Mitsuhide's story. Lame that in both SW1 and SW2, he just killed Nobunaga, unified the land... and that's it. At least now we get to see what kind of part he plays in Tokugawa vs. Toyotomi conflict. Hopefully, Magoichi gets the same treatment and his story is not all about killing Nobunaga.

I agree that the stages need to be more unique (like SW1) but still manage to maintain the freedom.

And regarding Magoichi, I think that his story will be more about the Date (somewhat introduced in SW2). Though he will still probably appear at Kizugawaguchi, too.

The fact that Mitsuhide and Magoichi (plus many other characters too) get somewhat fictional stories is because of players wanting to see something new and fresh. The whole Motochika-Mitsuhide relationship is a good move, because it allows both have new character connections. This is why Yoshimoto doesn't have a story because his story would be about the kemari for third time.

I wanna play the game already XD I can't wait I've been following this forum for the last 2 months its crazy... and now all the questions have been answered...

I do not think there will be a 3rd Unique NPC since no one has found anything about him or her yet... and him or her wasn't revealed in the last Famitsu Scan...

Oh well the game is awesome from what Ive seen the best in the SW Series I can't wait till 2010 now!

Just a heads-up.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the earliest possible time I can stream with Seraphil is on Thursday. I may stream for a bit before then, but I can't make any promises at this time.

Well done, Ixbran! I regret that since I'm in class I can't listen to it at the moment (though I'm sure I heard bits and pieces from it before), but it's definitely something to look forward to once classes are done. Nice find!
