So I've been thinking about what was said about the XL characters "getting the shaft" and decided to dig for credits just to for the fun of it and noticed on YouTube that the credits for SW2 and SW2XL are completely different teams. No one on SW2's Programming or Design Team worked on SW2XL. You can check for yourselves if you don't believe me. (Note, I couldn't find SW2E credits online, so I couldn't compare them, too) So, perhaps if we compare SW2, SW2XL, and SW3 credits, we can get a better idea of some of the decisions that were made. Or, then again, maybe it's a dead end. But hey, checking the credits has never been so much fun ![]() Edit: Is it me, or is the quality for the Muneshige and Kaihime vids lower than the others? Additional Edit: Found Yuki on Nico: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8980315 Edited by Chou Hi, Wed Dec 2, 2009 2:31 pm.

@Chou Hi: Yes, that was my first thought too. Horrible vid quality compared to the others. So basically what happens? Kai whips the floor with Kuno (while Yukis does not exactly stand by and watches) In return Muneshinge attempts to kick Kai in his video but I spotted Gin doing the honor ;P Interaction and dialogues seem to take up a large part in SW3 which in return is a bonus for me to get impatient about it

Kind of depressing from the game play vids, it seems that koei's trademark brainless AI is still a problem. Just sits there and acts as a bunch of combo dummies all the time. :\ |

^ In Muneshinge's video I think the player choose easy. Compared to other vids I think that might partly be the AI. Also Gin and the other generic soldiers were actually bashing Kai some good, so I guess they don't just stand aside all the time. I'm happy as long as they keep those areas busy where I'm not so I can focus on kicking the ass of whoever comes before my blade ;P |

I dunno, it's just not the same as DW3 and SW1. The AI got outright vicious and even peons were actually a threat. I guess I've just spoiled myself with the Ninja Gaiden games or something where it feels like every fight actually mattered. lol I still like DW/SW but they really need to work on the AI. |

Btw, the Yukimura video is 20 minutes long... and shows off the items a bit. And the player really likes using Eigi. Edited by Chou Hi, Wed Dec 2, 2009 2:49 pm.

Haha, I was right! Your theory was well-grounded, though. I figured that all the videos and voice clips were the cause of the seemingly random cuts that were made across the board. I don't think Nintendo provides developers with high-end compression technology like Microsoft does, so I could see the disc size being a severe content dampener in a game like this. This is why games that are on both PS3 and 360 differ immensely in size, even though both versions are practically identical. This unofficially makes this the second largest Wii game next to Brawl. One other thing I just noticed. It looks like throughout that 20min clip, Yuki's allies don't compliment him as much as in previous games. In fact, generics don't talk as much in general. It's kinda... serene, I think. |

That just means that where won't be a metric ***ton of message lag, which can only be considered a good thing. When I'm on a strict schedule, I don't need 30 clone officers parroting off the same lines when I'm waiting for something to happen. |

Alas, I do not. And as it is 20 min long, it will require at least 2 YouTube videos... or, you know, 5 minutes of your time to sign up for Nico. |

Or when you have the same sort of generic officer in the same area. Three of them all saying the same thing one after another gets....annoying. |

This Yukimura player is like my bro or something. He's playing exactly like I would if I had the game now. I'm glad that there's some added depth to the combat, which was my main concern regarding this game. |

Why is that? Apparently a clone of myself resides in Japan. Last seen doing combos with Cless/Johnny Yong Bosch/Yukimura. |

Tetsuo9999 has ninja doubles i think. Anyway at least i feel a bit happier having learned of the rough release date for UK/US (February / March) EDIT 7.92 GB is a bit, but don't forget all the customization and editing bits. Also has anyone noticed that you have 4 mid-battle save points now? Edited by Furinkazen, Wed Dec 2, 2009 3:22 pm.

I will do what I can in a day or two. I'm probably going to want the Classic Controller Pro for this, so hopefully my import shop will get one soon. And yes, I will be playing as Sanada Cless Yong Bosch first. For those not getting my reference, It's a same-seiyuu joke due to the fact that the voice for Cless from Tales of Phantasia doubles as the voice for Yukimura. To make things more interesting, Johnny Yong Bosch voices Cless in the Tales of Phantasia OVA, and also doubles as Yukimura. Edited by Tetsuo9999, Wed Dec 2, 2009 3:28 pm.
