Has anyone noticed on Nene's art next to one of her weapons there is a large shuriken?
Maybe Koei were planning to change her MS but decided not to in the end..
Nene's weapon has always been like that :3.
It's how her weapons are whenever she throws them. (C1, C3, C4) She magically gets more daggers than just two, and four of them form one big shuriken. it's awesome XD
I remember seeing it in the SW2E archives thingy too. n_n

I am so excited about Kunoichi. Yeahiii x)
I wanna play the characters in this order (if possible n_~):

Kunoichi
Mitsunari
Motochika
and then Shingen

(^~ my favourites)

I wanna save the newer characters for abit later, as I want to build up some excitement.
Like with Warriors Orochi I'm most likely going to play as Tadakasu, Yoshihiro and Kotarou last XD.

In WO all my characters are max level.
Except from those three + Lu Bu and Orochi

What is the link to the Japanese wiki? I need it for optimal money farming, and weapon building.

These things suddenly make a lot of sense considering how huge the game is on disc, leaving pretty much no room for anything else to be added.

- Musou Mode-less characters
- No intro/death/retreat cutscenes
- Musou Mode-less characters do not have special quotes in stages
- No Gaiden stages
- No mouth-movement during victory pose
- No expression changes in dialogue boxes
- 20 unique stages in total
- Gracia and the Swordsmen cut
- No full-on alternate outfits
- Limited Edit Officer outfit/hair/face choices
- No Imagawa-side Okehazama, no Shibata-side Shizugatake
You expect me to believe this? There are bigger games with better graphics and depth that could handle enough. Shouldn't you be counting this as a lame excuse? I mean, this game is hardly bigger than SW2. It only contains an additional CAW-mode, which SW2 didn't have untill Empires. Oh well, I guess it's no use arguing about this.

You're forgetting Muramase mode, too, strategist_jeffo. That might be taking up a lot of space too... which is kind of sad, considering if it was my choice I would have dropped that mode and just had more stories added in. But, that's just me.

Just wait for the inevitable port, dude. We all know its coming.

Me too, and I agree. More stories and unique quotes for NPCs/story-less characters would be better than that castle mode. It looks rather dull to me... anyone played it got an opinion? Better or worse than Sugoroku ;p ?

Gaiden stages, intro/death/retreat scenes and the cut characters don't bother me at all. The exclusion of Imagawa/Shibata-side battles are a little odd, considering they decided to include BOTH of those (boring) characters, and the removal of expression changes for dialogue boxes is also weird, since that sort of set it apart from DW. I don't see how, even for the Wii, disc space can be an issue for THAT.

If Koei port SW3 to a better console (and uh, I think we all know they will!), then it will indeed be an exceptionally poor excuse for a game... IF they port it as it is now. "No disc space" *would* be a horse poo excuse. As would that same old lame "but it's a NEWWWWWWWW game! They're trying NEWWWWWWWWWW stuff!!! It's like DW3!!!!" Blabla.

Still... If I had a Wii, I'd be grateful for this game XD

you don't just go swinging spears at little ninja girls
He wasn't swingin his spear at Kunoichi. She was standing behind him. I believe he just cut a leaf with his spear and she was afraid to go talk to him and express her love or something.

Muramasa Mode, true. Though, does SW3 have a Survival Mode? If not, than it's just a replacement. Oh well, it is true that I'm enduring my friends will be playing (Since they own a Wii) and I'm sitting here stubbornly watching gameplay vids and waiting for the Port.

I agree totally.
Games such as SSBB and even mario Galaxy probably have much more in them regarding disc space.

Maybe Koei signed another contract this time with Nintendo sayign that they would release for a certain date.
This is apparently what happened with DW6...

Maybe they were just leaving so much stuff for a PS3/360 port and maybe even a PSP port after that.

See, this whole disc space issue wouldn't be present if the game were released on the xbox 360 and ps3.....

*sighs*
And if you had bothered to read more than just that one you'd also know that there is a way to compress the files a lot better, but obiously this is not something in Koei's budget. They are not Square Enix or any other company like that.

Also it's the SECOND LARGES GAME for Wii.

And even YOU don't like CAW and Takamura Castle I as well as other's are looking forward to this.

Oh well. I guess such posts were to be expected.

@ll: Keep in mind Wii-bashing is not allowed and if you got a complaint GO TO THE COMPLAINT THREAD!!!

On a personal note: I really enjoyed Senguroko (and I'm certain I once more spelled that wrong).

I'm not trying to say that there isn't room for improvement - I haven't yet played a game that I considered over 90 % perfect - but I really think Koei did a good job on this one in the end.

And this will also show in the sales.

That's my take on this. Feel free to discuss, but please actually use serious arguments if you are interested in a debate on a mature level.

Off topic :

I heard Koei is creating DW6XL , is this true ?

This game is actually starting to piss me off. There's too many peons onscreen, they attack much too often, and the slow framerate/attack speed makes it difficult to do anything about it.

Maybe I'm just in a bad mood, but it's really been getting on my nerves these past few hours.

For SW3 they could have just made it two discs for the Wii release and then once it ported moved the data into one disc but hey it is Koei and they shirk a lot when it comes to things like this in general. Not that I wont get the game but with cuts and mode cuts and no story mode characters it is definitely leaving a rather poor taste in my mouth. SW3 was supposed to make up for the failure of DW6 and strikeforce though good games in their own right they cant compare with DW3 or DW5 or SW 1 and 2. It seems like since then they have had this idea that if they cut things and do less of something then the game will be better which to my knowledge would make no sense what so ever.

I am hoping that with the port they actually add the cut characters back and then bring in the new ones and give stories to those who deserve it being Kotaro and the Oda clan memebers. Okuni does not deserve a story she like Musashi and Kojiro can and should remain free mode only which would be fine with me. They have just the same amount of releavance to the area as the other. I just wonder though what will happen with the port I mean for there to be a port it may mean murasame castle will most likely be cut but does it guarantee getting anything in return or what should have been in the game in the first place. This whole thing could go either way and will either make people very happy or piss a lot of people, like myself, off.

There is no telling at this moment what will happen with the port of SW3 but all we can do is really just hope Koei comes through on it and gives us something worthwhile.

I noticed it in some of the gameplay vids aswell. Is it that the enemy peons have gotten a little more aggressive than usual?
