I think that's for the better, that the Peons are more aggressive. It'll make kicking their asses all the more satisfying >:)
Indeed. I've always hated the way the peons just walks around you not really doing anything. Sitting ducks in other words.
I've stopped playing the Warriors games on Easy and Hard difficulty simply because there's no challenge. Peons and Officers don't really do anything --- but if they do something ; their damage to you isn't exactly impressive =<=.
._. I play on Normal to begin with. And once I feel confident with my character I start playing with him/her on Chaos only (if possible a difficulty over that) ;3.

More aggression is a good thing *w*.

We have some Samurai Warriors 3 tracks available in our Jukebox at the moment. The OST will be up later once we get the track titles adjusted.

LISTEN TO SW3 MUSIC NOW!
http://koeiwarriors.co.uk/jukebox.php
Guys, note this.

There's a few tracks put in the Jukebox from the game. Including the popular Anegawa. More will be put in due time once the track names are sorted out, etc.

Yes Gackt's song is excellent. It's already been posted around this site though, we are just waiting to hear from the other track called Zan. Which I've seen has not appeared on YouTube yet, but will before the 9th I assume.

I'm rather disappointed that Gracia wasn't in the Mitsuhide Artwork...Seraphil as wrong for a change... -_-

Anyways, I find this game, to have some minor, but somehow irritating flaws such as cutting characters, musou modes, and this ridiculous Takamura mode, which could have been cut like a twig. But let me not go to far into complaints.....

Ok, so I saw Nouhime's artwork and I'm thinking she is TOO sexy now............!........SYKE!!!! Hahaha! :D I love Nouhime she is my 2nd favorite character other than the late Gracia. She looks to seducing and evil. She really should of had a story mode, but watev. This game....IDK! It's kinda irritating me Nouhime cut story, Gracia CUT OUT!, huh.....But....I'm a hardcore Koei fan and have been since DW2 so they don't have to worry about not getting my money. "Darn u Koei! Darn u!"

Still....hoping for Gracia to make a fantastic return in the next installment.

Hey TaKaMuRa999(sorry if I got it wrong) Welcome to KW :D
Just so you know you can't double post. Use the edit button next time.

just listened to the jukebox
http://koeiwarriors.co.uk/jukebox.php
Anegawa and Odawara sound awesome
Are they the only two on it for now or something?
Can't wait to hear the rest :XD

Anyone know if they have made any more changes to Kunoichi's or Nene's movesets to make more of a difference between them?

Okehazama is there as well. The others will be put up once recognized.

Have fun listening to them and keep checking it out for more updates!

have you happened to play as kuno yet or has she been in any battles :)
No, I don't play as annoying children. We may produce one video of her, though, but I'm not exactly excited to do it.

These things suddenly make a lot of sense considering how huge the game is on disc, leaving pretty much no room for anything else to be added.

- Musou Mode-less characters
- No intro/death/retreat cutscenes
- Musou Mode-less characters do not have special quotes in stages
- No Gaiden stages
- No mouth-movement during victory pose
- No expression changes in dialogue boxes
- 20 unique stages in total
- Gracia and the Swordsmen cut
- No full-on alternate outfits
- Limited Edit Officer outfit/hair/face choices
- No Imagawa-side Okehazama, no Shibata-side Shizugatake
You expect me to believe this? There are bigger games with better graphics and depth that could handle enough. Shouldn't you be counting this as a lame excuse? I mean, this game is hardly bigger than SW2. It only contains an additional CAW-mode, which SW2 didn't have untill Empires. Oh well, I guess it's no use arguing about this.

7.92 gigs. There are only TWO games even close to that size: SSBB and that one Metroid Prime whatever game(and only SSBB is bigger than SW3.) Both are also dual-layered. Most games barely hit 3~4 GB.

So yes, I am expecting you to believe this instead of constantly being a pessimist.

Tetsuo and DJ can back me up on this.

The videos are much longer than usual, which is the biggest contributor to the game's size. Expect videos that last for two minutes, or more in some cases.

In other words, don't judge the game on the heels of the last one. I'm going to try to sabotage my friend's laptop to stream in about three hours, as my current laptop isn't working like it was a few weeks ago. I'll keep you guys posted.

(ʘ‿ʘ)✿ what'd you say about my Ina

I had to stop playing for now, especially since I'm an insomniac and didn't sleep yesterday.

There's a lot of peons on the map, which I actually liked-- though I will say the bullets got annoying in certain stages because they'll stun you, knock you down, and then stun you again before you can actually do anything.

But once you get used to the... speed of the movesets, it's not that bad, I don't think. Eigi is actually pretty fun and useful.

I did end up finishing Masamune's Musou mode before quitting- Aya Gozen shows up to protect Kanetsugu in Hasedo, which was... surprising (though it shouldn't have been).

Yeah, the framerate and attack speed definitely takes some getting used to. I can't say that I like the change, but it doesn't destroy the game, either. I wouldn't be surprised if the inevitable PS3/360 port runs at 60 FPS, just like the other games did. The videos will probably be rendered in real-time, much like how Multi Raid Special took the original's pre-rendered videos, and re-did them with the regular game engine.

Regarding Mitsuhide's artbook art, take a look here.

http://img1.a9vg.com/200912/02/1259690831313.jpg

The "full" scans we have now are not full scans, about 1/4 or so of the image is cropped off. In Mitsuhide's, the other person behind him is missing.

I still think it's an excuse. If is were on a PS3 they could have added all these problems into it (don't give me a warning or anything 'cause I aint bashing), just saying.

I don't understand how a game can take up so much, maybe it's something they're using, how they make their games.

How many times must we explain this?

-Microsoft provides high-end compression technology to fit more content on a regular dual-layer disc, while Nintendo doesn't. Too much compression or poorly done compression equals bad load times, which nobody wants. The PS3 version of Bayonetta is a perfect example of poor programming and compression, as its load times are nearly game-breaking in some situations.
-Blu-ray discs hold several times more than a dual-layer disc, so obviously, this would not be an excuse if the game was released on the PS3 first in its current state.
-The videos are much longer than you'd be used to if you played the last two games, which is obviously taking up most of the space.

Do you know how fitting things on a disc works? If not, don't be so quick to point fingers.

Well I aint gonna go looking through old posts for an answer am I. If you wanna stop repeatinf yourself then put it in an information thread  .

And what you just said, means all the more reason NOT to have put it on Nintendo  . I noticed the videos all seem independant to each of the characters blessed to have story modes, I guess them all being individual (like DW6) is a good thing ;) .

Hmm, but the only thing I see behind him is that roadside shrine, which the smaller image shows is pretty much on the edge of the page, leaving no room for anything else.

The videos aren't independent to characters-- there's still overlapping videos and things. I know that Yukimura and Masamune share at least two videos, if not more than that (the one before Ueda and Oshi/Odawara). Muneshige and Ginchiyo (and probably Yoshihiro) share another.

I don't see why anyone's surprised with how big the game was. Dynasty Fail 6 Special was released as a dual-layered game on PS2 due to all the videos being pre-rendered. In the event that they port this over, they'll re-render all the videos, saving up space.

Kiyomasa has tons of videos, he must have one big, spanning story  ? And there's bound to be a few overlaps which is understandable, so long as it aint rediculous like in SW2 for some characters, it really dumbed down even the biggies like Tadakatsu, he should have had one of THE most unique stories in it :( .

Oichi's looked very unique as a story, although I'm curious as to why Nagamasa aint dead <_< . I detect a DW6 Zhou Yu and Sun Ce, right? He should die.
