Right well, I know I can be Mr. Sceptical (is that the right word) and I know honesty hurts sometimes  , but as guys have probably noticed I say whatever is on my mind. It aint often liked and gets me into trouble when I really don't mean too, but instead of ruining some people's time on other topics, I'd rather create a nice little topic about the game and it's well, 'bad-points' in your guys's view, if any. Please, don't be flaming back, and debate as sensible as possible, thank you :) .

Right, well, my first complaint will have to be about the PSP system. I own on myself and I really like its gaming, but we all know, deep inside, we would love to see these lovely transformations on a more well, advanced system with true HD graphics (for those with a HD TV). Since SW3 I have matured a lot in not buying these games that are blatantly a, well, cash scheme and this is another. I for one will wait for the PS3 version I think, whick WILL happen. Those who like to just get their games, enjoy, and start over on the PS3 aswell will have no quarrel, but time is precious in my world and I don't wanna be repeating my experiences, especially on one bloody game ^_^ .

I haven't got many other complaints, just small ones about the characters not being finalised yet, but they're small. Those who have issues, please post here is sensibly as possible so thing don't go out of hand. Let's hear some debates :) .

I agree with you about the PSP thing. If they're just going to end up releasing it on PS3/360 (I think it'll definitely happen) why make it a PSP exclusive first? I don't really get it. I don't want to wait 2 years to play as Da Qiao and Jiang Wei.

They making it for PSP is because in Japan, it's more convenient to consumers. People are always on the go, on public transportation and on trips and such, and much more likely to be carrying a PSP with them to play instead of hunkered down at home in front of a (more expensive and non-portable) PS3.

That's why they make games exclusively for mobile phones too. It's Japan, it's how Japan works. Live with it.

Well now I understand why. I wondered that myself. Too bad, Seraphil you could answer that question without adding the bad attitude "Live with it".

Try to be a little more professional. I'll try to be less touchy.

That said, here is another dumb question, for me. What is the difference between Strikeforce and Mult-Raid?? Are they the same game under another name? Or completely different games?

Same game.

Strikeforce is Multi Raid's name overseas.

So it's impossible to make it for both handheld and home consoles at the same time? You know, appealing to the entire DW audience at once? It's not unheard of. Jesus, they do it all the time.

I'm not anti-PSP, I'm anti-only for PSP.

Just like everyone said, my only complaint for now is it being PSP exclusive. I do like my PSP and all but I prefer playing games that take long hours of play in consoles rather than on the go. Of course it'll have better graphics and you can play it in fancy HDTVs too :p

It's not a common practice at all, and developing a game for a handheld and a console simultaneously is a different ballgame than making it for two consoles with similar capabilities or making it for handheld/console and porting it later.

Add on that Koei has other games they're working on as well and also time/cost balancing, and it's really an unlikely scenario.

I think I would actually prefer it on PSP, as graphics are decent and you can go anywhere you want with it :)

Would you complain of I said your post sounded like complete bull****, not because you said it, but just its context. This game is, I repeat about PSP exclusive, is absolute rubbish. It would be better if the game came out on PS3 'first' then went to PSP, as it it evidently, the more compatible, able console. You can't argue with that right?

BDS, have you lived in Japan? Do you know how it is there like I do?

I'd appreciate you not calling information on the daily life there as BS, thank you.

Where is your proof? Did you ask the ordinary gamer in Japan what he thinks? YOU thinking it's rubbish does not magically make that opinion into fact.

How is it better? Explain. Give something more than your "I think it's stupid, it should be how I say it" reasoning if you would please.

How would I know you'd be the one to start this thread, BDS? I jest, you know I love you (though we clash sometimes, but that's just because we're too much alike).

Anyway, I'm not angry that it's PSP exclusive, only because I know Koei will/might port it for the PS3/XBox360 later. Personally, I can wait, as there aren't enough insentive for me (yet) to want to get this game immediately. Also, I sold my PSP- I just didn't enjoy it much and I got headaches while playing it, no matter what (played it in the dark, during a brightly lit room, as far from my face as possible... fifteen minutes or more, I'd get migraines... but not from my DS, oddly enough.)

My complaint, really, is just the possibility that Pang De might be passed over for a return in lieu of Cai Wenji, but 1) it's my own personal biasness that wants Pang De back, 2) I'm sure the Japanese fans love Cai Wenji over Pang De therefor making my previous reason null and void for I am a lowly American, and 3) they just haven't announced/released him yet (and/or holding him for a later installation to the game, because heaven forbid they put everything in one game. THAT'D BE CONVENIENT.)

Beyond that, I'm mostly uninterested in MR2 as opposed to hating it. It's PSP exclusive at the moment, therefor holds no interests, and it's bringing back characters that I just don't care for in the first place (I thought I'd be thrilled with Jiang Wei's return, but really, I'm apathetic towards it).

Then again, I won't be happy with the DW series again until Wei Yan and Lu Meng get stories, but I might as well not hold my breath. Lu Meng is stuck in the somewhat important supporting character and Wei Yan will always, always, ALWAYS be overlooked by the rest of Shu. It's my fault, apparently, for not liking the set characters that either the developers like or the Japanese fans like, so... whatever.

Thanks for making the thread, BDS.

I'm in no rush either, as much as I am a Jiang Wei and Wu fan, welcoming the new Da Qiao, I just haven't got enough reason yet and don't feel It's time yet. I may do more after the EU/US release date. However, 'exclusive', as we know, is a fickle statement in the world of Koei so I'll prbably wait for the PS3 port.

I love Pang De too  , he's so appealing to me, especially the manor in which they presented his personality in DW5. He's the only Wei missing now right  , it's quite a shame, he would allow me more time to get used to one of my least liked (Ma Chao), sooo, really want him back one day. Sometimes I can be really in the mood for the game, other times I don't have much time for it, probably because I play alone, maybe, I don't know.

We all know Lu Meng is meant for the Halberd moveset, it suits him well. Even though Wei Yan is my favorite Shu also along with the man who never trusted him (Zhuge Liang), Wei Yan needs a de-clone, it's embarrassing, he used to be so badass. There was no reason why a couple de-clones could not have been done, Wei Yan should have been one of them.

To add on from the MR2 topic about the issues with the plot arc, I'm not really sure how I feel about it myself. While it's nice to see some spice in a DW game, I kind of just wish they would have kept the mystical stuff in the Warriors Orochi series. Yet, at the same time, did the first game ever explain why they all had alternate forms, or why there were HUGE mystical creatures running around in the first place? I guess this is Koei feeling they have to explain the sudden magic in a game series that was otherwise not really magical at all?

Still, feels like Dissidia and WO to me, which isn't necessarily BAD but at the same time it's not doing much justice for the characters that have no story or need decloning. But I guess they're saving that for a possible XL or DW7...

You're fighting a losing battle with that argument. I'll leave it at that.

On topic, I don't like that it'll be PSP exclusive first, but it is only Japan that is getting the game for now, and Japan does like the PSP. I hope that Koei, if they do decide to port it to the US and Europe, will decide to make a PS3 and 360 version to coincide with its release. If not, I'll just skip the PSP version and await the PS3 version, if they make it. There's little else we can do.

Well it isn't because her first weapon already falls into the tech category and if she had two initial tech weapons her other proficiencies would be completely pointless besides it's quite fitting for her since her husband weilds a spear anyway.

No problem but you can just change it to what you prefer as the secondary weapons initially are just weapons they suggest rather than force you to use is all.
