i actually think the bodyguard system in dw5 was nice. they had a unique weapon, unique look, unique name, unique fighting style and skills. i enjoyed it very much. id like to see that system return.

I say make Unique BGs and a CAW for BGs. Add skills for them in battle and utilize a Command rating to determine how many you could have.

Body guard?.....The clothing wear of main officer characters don't match nor is similar to the team troops. The main officer characters look too much like mercenaries. In fact, instead of playing the main officer characters at all, I rather play as a Squad leader of 5 troopers under a commander general. We won't need to worry about having body guards then.

One of the things that I loved on DW3, was the 6-8 bodyguards.... Also on Samurai warriors 1. We don't need overpowered trops. We want some trops for command, trops which can follow us...and execute our orders. Like a small strategy in the game. ^_^ For example...4-8 bodyguards same stamina & hability like liutenent, same strenght like a Major and 20,50,200,500 soldiers depending the character you're using. "for example, Cao cao 500, A created character... (only 2 bodyguards xD)

I liked the way it was in DW2. I liked having a group of bodyguards, it made me feel more like a general instead of just another big boss character. That said, some sort of customization is in place.

And no matter what, I want a bodyguard system of some sort. Almost any bodyguard is better than no bodyguard at all.
