Probably wont get many posts in here like many topics I make  but since the video game one had a fair amount of posts, thought I might as well make this.
Since its about movies and music, can really go in either section I think.

Overall, personally Im more into the Classical scores more so then movies with OSTs of rock, pop or whatever music.
some favs of mine.

Lord of the Rings trilogy by Howard Shore
3rd being my favorite, but all so well done.

Pirates of the Caribbean by Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer
Original was great but not as much emphasis on the epicness that defines each them like Zimmer did with the 3rd movie.

Jurrasic Park by John Williams
This is probably my favorite of John Williams. He is so great and does so many fantastic works for movies.

Remember the Titans by Trevor Rabin and various artists
The musical score is shear epicness. Titan's Spirit probably my most played track on my iTunes. Also gotta love Aint no Mountain High Enough XD by Gaye and Terrell.

Spirited Away by Joe Hisaishi
Joe Hisaishi is a genius. Love his work. One Summer's Day and Reprise being my favorites of this one.

Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story by Randy Edelman
Love this soundtrack, fantastic epic feel to it.

Bolt by John Powell
I felt this was a very underrated ost of 2008. All the tracks are very different and unique. Also love the song I thought I lost You by Miley Cyrus and John Travolta.

School of Rock by various artists
filled with a lot of oldies rock music, but I love the School of Rock tracks.

I have many more and a lot of favorite artists/composers, like Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, Joe Hisaishi, Harry Gregson-Williams, James Horner, John Williams and many others.

I like it whe the movies score is something that you can hum along to, so many today aren't very memorable, but ones that are that I love include:

>Back To The Future
>Batman (The Tim Burton One)
>Jurassic Park
>Star Wars
>Indiana Jones
>The Terminator

Thats all I can think of for now, but I love the scores from all of these classic movies. ^_^

I'm a fan of Clint Mansell's works. I like Ennio Morricone too, but I haven't got the time to listen to many of them.

The Grudge
I really enjoy the opening title theme. The rest of the movie's score is no slouch either. The soundtrack was composed by Christopher Young and he's really good.

Crank & Crank 2
My favorite part about it is that it's not classical music at all. Just a bunch of different songs that, when they come together in the movies, make greatness.

I do not watch all that many Movies, so barely know of any Soundtracks. However, there is one certain Soundtrack I always like to listen to, which is from the movie Labyrinth!!!! The music from it is so incredible, and it is the only film where I have loved lots of the music, and not just one track.

I also really love the music from Amelie. @.@ I am wanting to get the soundtrack for it too.

How to Train Your Dragon's soundtrack is great even if the main movie melody is used in most of the songs. They still vary it enough that it doesn't get old. Especially love "Forbidden Friendship" and "Test Drive."

Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame also has a great score and vocal songs. Dark and intense which I appreciate for a Disney animated movie. Not so big on the more fun song "Guy Like You," but others such as "Hellfire" or "The Court of Miracles" makes up for it.

And of course, Joe Hiashi's music for Miyazaki's movies. Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away both have fantastic soundtracks. From Mononoke, I absolutely love "Journey To The West" and "The Young Man From the East." For Spirited Away I'd have to say my favorites are "Sixth Station" and "Dragon Boy."
