Well making regular spam posts like that which is clearly not a question doesn’t help, and having oversize signatures certainly don't help your chances either. :/

Stop going off topic, and leave this for the purpose of a member asking a reasonable question, and a moderator answering it.

Small spamish posts like that isn't really that big of a deal. A lot of members do it and I've never found that they've ever destroyed the topic unless the original topic itself was retarded or it's dead. Hell, even Chin himself makes quite a few posts like that. I think as long as the mod knows how to deal with certain situations that those spammish posts are nothing. Besides, there's not too many{if any at all} members that contribute here more then me anyway.

As for the sig thing... I really don't see how that determines the quality of a mod. In fact, that's probably the most irrelevent thing out of everything for determining such a thing. As for myself, I knew it was against the rules. I actually had it over the limit for a few months. I just figured I'd keep it there until one of the mods decided to give me a notice about it.

I really don't see how every topic must be 100% on topic either. I think we should be allowed to go off topic but still remain with the main subject matter of the topic. Frankly, I think numerous topics would be boring if it they were completely on topic anyway.

I'm really not asking to be mod{I honestly wouldn't care if you made me one to be honest with you} but I think the points you made on how I wouldn't be fit mod are rather moot.

Edit: Oh, and my sig wasn't that oversized. :P

It happens often indeed, but there are areas, like Support/Feedback where it should at least be non existent. Can't we have just a few forums that are a little more professional, it's not that much to ask really. :/

Oh, this is a good one too! So if you contribute a game review you get a free spam pass for a while? Yeah, that would set a great example...

Drew

As for the sig thing... I really don't see how that determines the quality of a mod.

It is a way to measure ones understanding of the rules, clearly those that understand the rules better would not break any of them on purpose, be it a small or not.

What a surprise, see above.

Deva Ju? Topics in the Forum-Concerning area should at the very least remain on topic.

I also like how there was not one relevant question in that post either. :/

I support deleting any future posts like this, as they serve very little purpose to this thread.

How to download the OSTs from the GAME OSTS link...

Should be easy enough...
In the Game OST Section, find the OST you wish to download.
Click the DOWNLOAD HERE link and enter the three letter code into the box as instructed in the Megaupload window.
After waiting 45 Seconds, you can proceed to download the OST by clicking the "Free Download" gray box.
Got it? If you need anymore help, don't be afraid to ask!

In the staff I believe that there is one person who is currently in a serious relationship, that is of course Fayt who is engaged but he doesn't have any children....yet

Other than that I don't think that anyone else is married or has children, Mr Honda is the only one that I can recall that was married (and still is!) during his staff tenure. So I guess that is it, no babies from the staff!

What are the most interesting and irritating experiences when you become a staff?
an unnecessary and boring question, but i want the staff share it with the public not only in the staff room :)
you dont have to answer it if it really unnecessary XD

Well, Miho will try and give you a worthy answer

I think what's interesting is how you kinda build relationships with other Staff Members. Even though I guess that's kind of obvious, but if we weren't staff members, we may not get along so well or even know each other. And to be honest, there's nothing that irritating, for me personally. You just try and do your bit for the forum and help out anyway you can :) .

I hope that was a good enough answer for you hunny ^_^ .

We usually didn't have that kinda "building relationship" with all the staff in the past. But thanks to Fayt for bringing a Lounge section like 6-9 months ago where every staff built their relationship there, it makes the whole team a family (like brothers and sisters), made us to understand each others better and also it's a good place to share the problem (not only from the Internet but from the real life as well) - basically just helping each others in friendly way with encouragement. Like Fayt's assignment, Jsun's job interview, Miho's secret juicy lover and etc, they're usually a real life problem that we usually sorted out inside that. Without such section and team work it would be extremely boring, that's why we're still here as this section and activity really made the overall staff interesting and it's strengthened the staff power really.

Irritating bits? Sometimes we might have different point of views and opinion but one great thing is all the staff they respect to the overall majority votes for each decision. We usually bring out any problem to discuss within the staff without just taking the action directly which is like we're kinda relying and respecting each other opinion at the same time. This is my personal opinion about it.

Kids... that means more than 1? He must be a fatherly like staff

So, the staff are building their relationship by themseleves? Hey, that's cheating XD
I envy it :P

Oh, i thought the irritating exp would be "I met wtih a **** member" XD
Okay, thanks for the answer brother Miho and Insp chin.. I havent thought for the next questions?

You were emailed, perhaps they went to your junk mail folder but that is something we cannot control.

And your posts were deleted because they were not questions or answers, which this thread is for, not debating. As I said earlier any non questions, nor answers will get deleted.

No, it's just that my MSN account just doesn't work for some reason. I'm sure a lot of people had realized this considering that I haven't been on for weeks.

It wasn't just this topic either. It was also in the forum discussion area where my post got deleted.

I'm not certain as to why a post of yours was deleted from that topic, I personally didn't delete any of your posts from the KW Forum Discussion.

I've only ever deleted posts where I've forewarned I will delete them for being off topic (like I have in this topic), I've merged posts and left a notification within them to the member or PMed the member as to why I deleted them.

I can only assume another moderator felt that any post you made there was off topic, or perhaps you got confused at to what topic you posted in, or whether you posted in there at all.

Sorry but that is all the information I can give you on it, although if you recall what your post was and if it was a relevant concern or suggestion your welcome to post it again.

Edit: In fact perhaps I have said too much considering our current rules, please post any further queries on moderator actions via PM to the relevant moderator...

after my move, when i plugged my computer back in, i noticed that the "new comments envelopes" which denote new posts, only randomly light up? based on the post dates i can tell which should be lighted. could this be something i reset by accident when i reinstalled my computer. as i've said in the past i'm not too computer savvy and only know the very basics. i can however follow instructions if there is a way to reverse this, it was much nicer to just be able to see the posts that had come in since i was last on, rather than search for them by date. thanks for any help.

That sounds like your cookies, or when you get a IE error message that logs you out to find the read posts highlighted again (not in your case though, just an example), etc.

You can just go to start, control panel, internet options, delete cookies and files. Use those since when you visit a web page of any kind, you would think that the previous would be deleted but that isn't the case, they stack-up and actually take MB storage. There's other useful features like deleting your passwords and forms from your connection (not deleting, as in completely remove, but as in you will have to type your password and name information when you login again.)

Sorry if I'm mistaken about this.

oddly enough, your suggestion worked. i have a MAC, so i was slightly concerned that i did not have the mentioned controls, but mine are very similar, and i was able to disable this "cookies" business. all my lights came back on. thanks, LDZ, you are far smarter than i am. i need to take a basic computer class and stop bothering you guys. :(

That's not called "bothering" for us. We're here just to share the knowledge and we're happy to help :) So please, never feel you're bothering us unless you really want to eat the Inspector's fist.

Remember there's nothing like you're smarter than I or I'm smarter than you. I mean we're all equal, we never know or understand what you have in your knowledge or experience in your life (or vice versa) so it always brings the benefits for everyone by asking question or help, sharing the knowledge and etc...

AH. thanks Chin, you guys are so good to me. i really love being here. it's just sometimes i feel like you are all younger, but you have so much more technical know-how than i do. i am a good chef and i am also a good painter/sculptor, so i will soon be showing you guys some of my works in the GFX thread and i'd be happy to cook if you came to Dallas. i hope i will impress you all. and no thanks, i like fried chicken(guilty pleasure) or maybe some Kung Pao Tofu, but not your fist...i think it might taste like keyboard. :o thanks again for all the help. the staff is great.
