It's not long until the TGS site is opened :D we can get a serious hint of what's to come we know that KOEI has a suprise but what about TECMO i'm certain it is or is going to be the 10th aniversary of the DOA series too so maybe there's a suprise there too :shifty:

to make it a bigger suprise they could say "China's warring states" Musou with Shi Huangdi, Mu Wang, Xiang Yu and Yu Meiren already- Its still Dynasty Warriors, but with a twist. :P

SW3 port would probably not be announced til after the US Wii release, since after all- we are still waiting and they will want some double dippers...

MR2 for PS3/360 maybe a possibility, since the PSP sales overseas were lackluster for MR1. (sorry Mr Honda).

Maybe they partnered with Capcom for a Sanguo Basara- that would really be a suprise.

How is that even possible when Capcom doesn't even have a Three Kingdoms game? Or do you mean a cross over like WO series but between DW and SB? That would be really interesting but I still prefer WO3 with SW3 characters.

I'd be happy if the surprise announcement would be a new Kessen game. Maybe it'd take place in the Three Kingdom's period again.

Well I don't want to sound negative or anyhting but... For the one's that are hoping that the suprise could be Samurai Warriors Three getting ported to the Xbox Three-Sixty and Playstation Three? That's not going to happen. According to Chin himself, he said that in order for a game to get ported, it would have to at least have been out for a whole year, before a game get's ported. Samurai Warirors Three hasn't fulfilled those conditions yet, seeing as it would have to hit December 3rd, 2010, in order for Samurai Warriors Three to be possibly ported.
That doesn't necessarily mean it can't be announced yet though ;) just saying, but I really don't at all expect such though. @BK: yeah, ive heard of that game, but I was talking from a Koei stand point. As nothing can be Dynasty Warriors without Koei. Its just simply ancient chinese warriors Gundam :kurokan: Its why what Furinkazan was talking about makes no sense of an SW Gundam.
Your right there...

Warriors Orochi 3 people talk about, but it won't happen.

DW has Renbu, SW does not... abilities are different, and I see no reason for Koei to bring it out when there hasn't even been an updated DW...

:spam: and read the first post in this thread please.(I believe the answer to your question about the announcement is there ;) )

but to be ontopic: I'm still hoping for a WO3 and/or a DW7. More a WO3 with the new SW3 characters as well as the new DWSF2 characters such as Cai Wenji, Xiang Yu, ect. even though I have a feeling that will never happen, but one can only hope. DW7 has a better chance in my opinion since it has been a few years since DW6 came out in Japan and KOEI needs something bigger than DW:O and a cosplay contest  if there isn't something big for KOEI to show at the TGS then I'll just shake my head and wait for a WO3 and/or DW7 to be announced, though a SW3 port isn't such a bad idea either

Well for Japan it has been about 2 years since SSM5's been released. So, in terms of weariness I think that has the most. Since MOZ was released. :uh:

Is that supposed to be sarcasm? Bad sarcasm. The PS3 came out in late 07, so what are you talking about. :uh: I'm 100% that DW7 will be announced. I'm never wrong when I say I'm 100 about it either

Dynasty Warriors 6 was released late 2007 in Japan, it was a part of one of the first bundle packs for the PS3.

lol you were both wrong. Posted Image

Anyway, DW7 would be nice. Given the circumstances, I would be surprised if Koei's 'suprise' game were anything else, so I'm keping on my toes. :ph43r: WO3 shouldn't happen :uh: DW6 and SW3 differ too much, and one is for the Wii, so they would have to completely re-work SW3's engine to fit it in the game, instead of just copying it from the last game.

A few facts to straighten out 360 came out in 05 and the ps3 in 06. But ya I just checked the bundle pack came out a year after in 07. So its only been 3 years. But dang they use to come out with like 3 DW/SW games a year lol.

Hope for a MUCH improved DW7

Well the least I expect is for:
To be cleansed of clones
Graphics matching or exceeding Hokuto
Renbu to be enhanced

Let's see here.... I didn't know this turned into what we expect out of Dynasty Warriors Seven? That is a great idea! Good thinking AdventGreatness!

I'll join you! What I would like to see in Dynasty Warriors Seven, (Being if that's the suprise),

First: Something I have been wishing for, (Which was done in Dynasty Warriors Strike Force, but could have been much better) is Online Cooperation. How that would be very joyous if this feature were tied in with Dynasty Warriors Seven. :woot:

Second: Clones are bad. So I say to the clones, "Shoot clones, don't bother me!"

Third: If it still has the Renbu System... (Heaven Forbid) Then please let it go with the re-worked Renbu System, that was in Dynasty Warriors Six Empires. (One of the few things that they got right in that game)!

Lastly: Graphics? Sure! I would like to see them in Hokuto Musou definition. :woot: (It certainly wouldn't hurt)!

OK like I stated above. If it IS DW7.

NO clones.
NO renbu AT all. Bring back linking combos, or evolving combos as you level or something
NO free mode characters! They better ALL have stories!
Lots of unique levels for each character.
UNLOCKABLES!!!!!!!! 4th weapons, items, whatever just something for replay that we have to meet requirements to unlock on hard. Love the old days of DW3 some of those weapons were soo hard to get and it was satisfying when you finally got them

And graphics....ehh as long as they like DW6 it ont matter. Rather they focus on the stuff they messed up on in DW6

OMG, If they announce DW7 I'm going to be the happiest guy in the world (I know that sounds depressing). Only God knows how much I love Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors

They better bring every character that got cut back. ESPECIALLY XING CAI!

Xiahou Dun needs his scimitar back.

Oh, and get rid of that stupid Renbu system. It made the gameplay even more repetitive.

And that one Wei girl from Multi Raid 2 better be in it

No. For the sake of accuracy, Shin Sangokumusou 5 (I mean the Japanese version) was released on 11th November 2007 and the PS2 port on 2nd October 2008, without considering the PC port on 11th July 2008. Not a year, as you can see.

Hmm so it looks more like a 6 month gap and since Strikeforce 2 has been out in Japan for almost that long maybe it might be ported in addition to DW7 being announced but for DW7 i can expect it to be delayed from the original release date indefinaltely.

You're welcome ; ), I pointed it out because I saw that many people here hope to hear about a port for SW3. Not probable, but not impossible either, at least not for the reason you mentioned.

I want DW7 and SW3 port. The only problem is that if SW3 has some kind of lock from nintendo that is causing it to not be ported. Maybe that is y we will see a special or somthin?

If they announce a port to SW3 after SW3 is released im going to be soooo pissed -.-

That said, if they did announce a port, but with extra content (like Aya and Masanori playable) then I would be happy.

But what I really want is DW7. No clones. I don't care for all the characters having stories, so long as a majority of them do. But if they have one, even better.

I don't think they will announce a port for SW3 soon because the game has not been released in the U.S. yet. I'm sure the sales of the game will determine whether or not the game will actually be ported.
