Because TGS is a much better place to announce a game Honestly I don't know why so many expected something today. I knew there wasn't going to be anything. Nothing wrong with showing GM3 in famitsu before hand, but to show up to an expo with nothing new to announce there, from having shown everything before hand, not a smart move.

Wow, someone got really creative with this one, eh? Great way to appeal to the fans, Koei. If the announcement really is DW7, this was a great start. ![]() Seriously...couldn´t they just have said there´ll be a surprise at the TGS last week and thus NOT make loyal Koei fans sit on their butts in tense F5 refresh button pressing terror to find out they did it for nothing? I really start to hate PR teams. ![]() Back to some actuall great news on the Dissida sequel

Well, I saw that play-asia page if koei made DW7 exclusive for 360 I will hate them and never play their games. They're killing their fans! Because of their contract with nintendo I can't play samurai warriors 3 any more.. I really hope they anounce DW7 for PS3 & 360 at the TGS |

I'm not worried about that at all to be honest. Out of the 3 consoles, Xbox360 has the smallest fanbase in Japan. Don't think Koei would be that stupid to put DW7 just on xbox360 exclusively. Besides DW7 announcement, GM3 and Troy Musou will be interesting. I'm a little curious how much Tecmo Koei Canada has improved Troy Musou since the game was last shown at E3 2010. If thing turns out for the worst at TGS like there's no DW7, at least I have GM3 to fall back into.

I got GW3 (copyrighted by BlackKite) to fall back on as well, though DW7 would be a nice afterthought. Even though I don't have a PS3/360 my friends are hardcore Gundam fans that'll get it. As much as I don't like to admit it, the DW hiatus has been so long I've almost lost interest in it. The move to next gen consoles doesn't help me either, so unless DW7 will also be on the Wii I'm missing out. Only Koei game I'll personally be playing at this point is SW3. |

EXACTLY. There really was no real reason to show much, if anything, about Koei's "big deal project" now. At most, I was expecting a name/positive ID, but everything pointed to that Koei just wants people to wait a week longer, and get what's coming to them at TGS next week. If nothing else, Koei doesn't want ANY reason for people to not have to pay attention to their booth. They're vying for the attention of millions just like everybody else at the show |

As much as I love DWG/GM, I really do hope that they won't just re-announce GM3 next week. As a fan of both series, GM3 followed by Sangoku Musou 7 would be a magnificent one-two punch for Koei to dole out. |

More proof that GW3 won't be TK's surprise http://www.bandainamcogames.co.jp/cs/event/tgs2010/schedule/index.html It's already being set on presentation at a BanNam booth event, in line with SRW L and Macross Trial Frontier. |

Troy may be a really good game. In chilhood I read Homer`s Illiad and Oddysey and I like this time period even now. I wish to see something similar to God Of War, and don`t want third Dynasty Warriors. KOEI can make a different games, I know it. |

I can straight up agree with this. What I would love to hear is a few things: For Gundam Musou Three: I would love to hear two things: First: What features will be added with Online Play. Cooperation? Versus? Etc. Lastly: If and when we will get a downloadable playable demo of Gundam Musou Three. Bonus: Other Features, Other Series' and Gundams being added. For Dynasty Warriors Seven: Same as Gundam Musou Three. Overall: Trailers for both of these. Well said by the way Ashitaka. You made an excellent point my friend. And Thanks for that Dracandros.

You mean Shin Sangoku musou 6 I agree with that specially with the online co op. DW7 must be epic, the number of characters has to be at least 60 and 10-5 NPCs to improve the stories. Adding online co op and versus mode would be great and attractive. I think that is the most important desire of their fans. I don't know why they won't do it for the main version. I hope they show us at least a trailer confirms DW7. I have a good feeling about that. 6 days left... |

Yes Online co-op is a must at this point in time for gaming. Fix the clones Fix the boring renbu ALL characters MUST have stories or branching stories even better Unlockable items and weapons |

Right you are KOEI Lover. I was just doing it translation style though. No harm, no foul right? ![]() Some more things that would be welcomed. But first, I think I am going to have ailtte fun with this.... I wouldn't seeing Samurai Wariors Strike Force Three, and Dynasty Warirors Nine. And both of them should have Super Online Cooperation.... ROLL ON FLOOR LAUGHING!!!! I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. ![]() On a more serious note though let's see.... Shin Sangoku Musou Six or also known as Dynasty Warriors Seven, showing some love to the Wii. (This one is for Xalfrea). ![]() Samurai Warriors Three showing some love to the Xbox Three-Sixty and Playstation Three. (This one's for the ones who want it badly). Showing you guys some love to. ![]() Lastly: Dynasty Warriors Online for the Playstation Three. These would play out as bonuses, but it doesn't hurt to throw them out there you know.

omg no. Just no. Wii although was a good idea a few years back needs to die. The engine, processor, graphics. EVERYTHING is dated on it. Even 360 and PS3 are talking about theyre next sytems in a few years. Wii needs to either move on and upgrade or just die. So in all fairness lets quit supporting it for the lead titles like SW3 and DW! Focus on using systems that we can get the full potential from. Now I dont think Koei should cancel support for Wii all together. If they wanna make some motion game or kid games for Wii then fine. Cool. But there is NO reason to make a game NOT supporting what the Wii primary draw, the motion thing. They can make those type game, like DW/SW, for the more advanced systems. Unless they are to lazy to update to newer engines like they lazily did in SW3... |

Again with the Wii business. It's a double edged sword- I can understand why those with the console would want their favorite companies to cater to that system, to be fair to all of their fans, but at the same time, I don't want the other versions (PS3 and 360) to suffer for it being multiplatform. Suppose they do go full multiplatform. Will they want to be fair about it and gimp the other two versions, just for the sake of them all being the same? Or, will they do what other companies have done and make a 'different' game for the Wii, then risk having the Wii owners complain that the other two are better. Sorry for all the Wii owners out there, but let me ask a simple question. If you're a fan of such titles that were mostly on PS2 and XB360, then why did you get a Wii if the companies never once shown support for Nintendo consoles? I'm guessing the price difference between the three is the main reason, but I'm just saying. Now, seeing as I have all three consoles, I really could deal with whatever I'm given. But like hell I want DW7 gimped because it's also on the Wii. Sorry, Wii owners, but accept the fact that the PS3/360 and Wii are NOT meant for the same type of gaming, and move on. I can't shake the feeling that SW3 -could- have been bigger, had it not been on the Wii... but again, that's beating a dead horse. I say made DW7 for all platforms, but have different versions for the PS3/360 and the Wii. "No child left behind" doesn't, and shouldn't, apply to video games. |

Check and mate. Exactly. Like I said unless its a game that uses motion or soemthing. Stay a way from Wii, unless its a geared down for JUST for the Wii. But I swear if they do any more crap like they did with SW3...it just seems lazy like they didnt wanna rework the whole engine for next gen... |

Close to 2 days until TGS finally begins and hopefully all this tension and the rants ease off providing nothing contraversial comes out of it which i'll assume will seriously infuriate people if it does e.g. their latest DW title turns exclusive which i certainly hope doesn't. |

Hey I'm fine with getting a watered down graphics wise port on the Wii. As far as I'm concerned, graphics can suck it. I'm cool with games getting multiple releases on all 3 platforms even if graphics need to be sacrificed. And why did I get the Wii? Eh, Brawl, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, Mario Galaxy 2, etc. I was ready to give up on Koei games altogether when SW3 just happened to be available on it. So if DW7 gets fair treatment on the Wii while sacrificing graphics, then that's fine. |

U dont understand its NOT just graphics man. Think about how FEW maps SW3 has Think of the slow frame rate Think of ALL the things that had to be sacrificed for lack of size and processing. Not just graphics... |

The main thing is, I don't see Koei doing anything more to stick its neck out for the Wii. Whether it's fair or not, the bottom-line is that the sales from last year's Sengoku Musou 3 didn't live up to sales expectations. The "third party plight" is still a very real thing, and that's why you are seeing third parties doing more to shy away from the platform as a whole. Notice how Bamco didn't exactly pressure Koei to develop a Wii version of GM3 either, even though it was within their "right" as the publisher of said game. I'm guessing Bamco has reason to be salty with the Wii too, thanks to last year's Tales of Graces not selling well either. ![]() For the most part, most gamers are fine with having a Wii in the house to play Nintendo games, and have one of the HD twins for everything else they want/need. At this point in time, you'd have better luck hoping for a port of something like DW7 on the upcoming 3DS, as THAT is the upcoming piece of Nintendo hardware that 3rd party developers like Capcom, Bamco and Koei will feel safer developing for, as opposed to the Wii itself. |
