Hmm. Guess I'm a minority then. Too bad I can't muster up the funds to by one of these "HD better then everything else" consoles.

You'll be amazed how much money you can save up when you have three jobs. Then again, I purchased the consoles before I had three jobs, now that I mention it... $300 for either a PS3 or a 360 nowadays isn't bad... the extra $10 for a game might be an issue, though, but there's always renting games as an option.

And I don't care for graphics myself, Xal. However, content and the space the discs for the different consoles is my big issue. Most Wii games run about, what, 1.5 GB to MAYBE 7 or 8 GB, if it's doubled layer? Compared to the 360's, or even the blu-ray discs luscious 50 GB worth of space, that's not a whole lot. Granted, there have been a lot of games on the Wii (mostly first party) that have utilized every little bit of space they had and produced a REALLY good, even great, game, but the rest I found have been rather lacking. Hell, I want to SCREAM when I see a Wii game less than 2 GB... What a waste of space.

(As for those wondering how I know about the size of the games per disc... I do "research".)

Not to say the Wii cannot have great games- that's obviously a lie. But there's really only so much space the discs and console can handle, and -if- companies want to go about the fair way and make both version equal, then the other two are gimped.

Now, of course this is KoeiTecmo we're talking about. I severely doubt they'll ever release a game that will utilize all 50 GBs worth of space a blu-ray disc can offer. I think MGS4 is the only one that I know of, and lord knows the loading/installing times on that was mind boggling crazy (at this point, I'd rather switch discs).

My point is: I wouldn't expect Koei to fully utilize the HD consoles, even though it'd be freakin' wonderful if they did. Maybe after the 'defeat' of DW6, they'll take DW7 more seriously and consider making it worth the extra $10 that the HD twins demand for their games?

If Koei did make it for the three consoles, I wouldn't mind if the Wii version sacrificed graphics, so long as the other two (mainly PS3 version) is left alone. That way, EVERYONE can buy it, and we won't have to sit through another tirade of fans getting butthurt about a Warriors game making a completely random console jump.

That's something I think we can all agree on.

ChibiGingi? The last part of your post, is where I was going when I said that it would be nice if Koei showed the Nintendo Wii some love, by releasing Dynasty Warriors Seven on it as well. I to, own all of the consoles. When I said that, I was saying that should happen, for those who seem to be having a hard time getting an Xbox Three-Sixty, and / or a Playstation Three. Also, I don't care about the graphics either, anyone who's been gaming for awhile knows that it takes ALOT more than just a pretty graphic looking game, for it to sale.

I'd gladly sacrifice graphics for it, as long as it means that everyone will get a fair chance, at being able to experience the game.

One other thing? I wasn't too fond of the Nintendo Wii getting Samurai Warriors Three exclusively. But I had more maturity than Ninety Percent of the people who complaining about it, not to be all BROOKLN RAGE!! About it. In the end, that is why I said that the current things I suggested that I'd like to see, were merely bonuses.

U dont understand its NOT just graphics man. Think about how FEW maps SW3 has Think of the slow frame rate Think of ALL the things that had to be sacrificed for lack of size and processing. Not just graphics...
Erm, the maps are huge, vast CAW, Murasame Castle, Armour, Gems, Tons more CG Cutscenes, and Japanese VA option. I disagree there...

And look at Sengoku BASARA 3 on Wii... looks as good as the PS3 Version.

Maybe I'm a pessimist, but in that occasion I can't shake the feeling that SB3 could have been MUCH bigger had they not made the two games alike. I mean, it was blatantly obvious (if not directly said by Kobayashi or another Capcom rep) that the dual voice options were removed before of space issues- that's obviously not an issue for the PS3 so it's apparent the Wii wasn't big enough.

But, to counter argue that point, they were also pressed for time (and started advertising this game WAY too early, imho, which is what led to a lot of complaints anyway) and all the character cuts and NPC decisions seemed justified (after the Brooklyn Rage is over, I can finally see their reasoning and come to accept it).

I just don't see Koei wanting to risk bringing another game to the Wii, not with how badly the sells did, as well as Nintendo purposefully sabotaging them with that evil, evil little plumber.

It depends on your TV. Depending on which kind you're using, you can really see the difference between the two versions.

What the hell does this have to do with the topic at hand?

We get it donthatekongming: You HATE the Wii.

We don't need to be constantly reminded of it in every time <_<

I get the feeling that KOEI is still in experimental mode. Their PS2 library was pretty solid, but when the next gen hit, the DW/SW franchises both needed a revamping.

One of the problems is that its more expensive to make games for the current HD consoles. I'm not sure if DW6 accomplished what they had hoped for in terms of profit. No one wants to make games and take a $$$ loss.

The Wii offers a less-expensive platform to launch experimental titles, so I'm perfectly fine with SW3 first going to the Wii (I'd hate to see a repeat DW6 with the SW series :kurokan: ). In hindsight, I think they could've started DW6 on the Wii, then improved on it for the HD console version.

However, another problem we're all aware of is that KOEI's games historically have to been more popular in Japan than elsewhere. (that's one major reason they need to be INNOVATIVE  ), so they really have to factor that in when they develop these games.

Either way, they can't develop games at a higher cost that don't sell well overall, regardless of what their few dedicated fans have to say. SW3 may not have sold very well on the Wii, but it may not sell very well on the PS3/360 either :/

tl;dr version: I hope KOEI has something good planned for TGS. If its DW7, then it I hope its bigger and better than the last few titles.

Wut the hell are you talking about? Im simply replying to a post ahead of mine. That is what forums are FOR?

And I dnt HATE the Wii. I like it for the games like Metroid, Mario, Smash Bros.

But if we miss out on a fledged DW7 cuz they make a Wii port....(on topic) then I will be pissed cuz of the lack of procesing power and size limits of the Wii. Has nothing to do with the Wii. I just dont want another of my favorite games short changed cuz of the capabilities of the Wii. Simple

[Mr.Honda] +1

lol I love what you said about TK JPN for TGS 2010, Mr.Honda, lol it avoids me to write it again with English mistakes XD

For the innovation, I think they are trying with Troy Musou... XD

I hope Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll will be a cool game, to level up... Their artworks are very nice!

DW Online looks good but won't be released in Europe probably XD

What?

Sengoku BASARA 3 was developed primarily for the PS3, the Wii version is a port, not the other way round. And the PS3 version is amazing as well!

Now why do I see Taigong Wang making an appearence in DW7 if when it is announced...

That would be interesting. But I doubt that he'd play a big role then. I can only imagine him being added for free mode like Nu Wa and Fu Xi in DW3.

@crazypete: Thank You haha i guess that's not WO 3 if there will be DOA Characters, they will make new title for it :)

Hmm, I think Koei still has something up their sleeve. They're still keeping this secret as veiled as possible, hence there's nothing on Famitsu yet..

...well, actually there is, a bit. It looks like the development for Ni-Oh seems to have been restarted thanks to Team Ninja's inclusion. They will do the action part while Koei now handles the drama part.

In any case, the real press conference tomorrow will begin at 12:15 Japan time (GMT+9)

Ni-Oh is a game intended for PS3 KOEI announced back then in 2006, but not much had been heard since then so it was assumed that they canceled it. But looks like the development has been restarted again with Team Ninja's inclusion thanks to the merger with Tecmo.

Ninja Gaiden 3? Slick. I've always had a bit of fun with those games. Here's hoping that more is revealed though I think it'll just be a short teaser.
