I remember hearing that Nouhime was related to Akechi Mitsuhide quite a few times before.. Also in SW3, I remember Nouhime making a comment towards Takenaka Hanbei on how he changed since he was a child or something, not to mention how Mitsuhide was on the same force as Hanbei.. Also, would that make her related to Chosokabe Motochika too? Were they all really related or is it just SW3 trying to spice it up? If so, does anyone know how she reacted towards Mitsuhide rebelling against her husband? There's just so many things I want to know about her. I find her to be one of the most unique and interesting women in the Sengoku Period. |

The Takenaka were Saito retainers, but as far as I know they weren't related. Nouhime's mother was the daughter of Mitsuhide's grandpa, so therefore they are cousins. Related to Motochika? In a way, I guess. Motochika was married to Saito Toshimitsu's sister, and Toshimitsu was a relative of Nouhime. I don't know about her feelings towards betrayal. Nobody does. She has pretty much become obscure after 1557. |

Ah, I see ![]() Confusing, as to be expected from Sengoku history xD Do you know anythign about any relationship between her and Akechi Mitsuhide? They must have had some closeness if they knew they were cousins.. Oh and does anyone know how Nouhime looked upon Mori Ranmaru or Oichi? Both were very important and close to Nobunaga but I hear nothing about Nouhime... ever xD |

Closeness? There probably was. I don't know any source that explains how close they actually were. As for her feelings for Ranmaru and Oichi, unknown. As I said, she has pretty much become obscure after 1557. After that year, there's nothing certain about her. There are even rumours that she died at Honnoji along with Nobunaga. |

It's just a rumour. It's generally accepted that Nohime died in 1612. |

I can read, so I know. Most of Nohime bios mentioned that she died in 1612, so it is generally believed (and accepted) that she died that year, although we cannot be too sure. |

That'd be interesting to say the least ^^ I suppose the only reason to kill her would be to avoid the Saito clan being rebuilt, one less enemy right? That's if it did happen anyway.. x3 |
