Watch this video. Or, if you own the game, you wouldn't need to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uklTqgBWkZI Yoshihiro, Ginchiyo, Kanetsugu, Nene, Kotaro, and Musashi are all on Samurai Warriors "3". Why? They all came in Samurai Warriors 2. Noh, Hanzo, Ranmaru, and Ieyasu are on Samurai Warriors 2, when they come from Samurai Warriors 1. It just doesn't make any sense. AT ALL. And couldn't they have made an Orochi category for Orochi, Orochi X, Himiko, Da Ji and Kiyomori and then put the others in Other? Having two Other categories just seems kind of... odd. I think it's because they're numbered. Edited by qewlkid9, Mon Aug 2, 2010 2:18 am.

I think it is becuse of there being only so many people that would fit on the slider for selection so they put some in sw3 and for Ieyasu, he was introduced as a Playable character in SW2 so that's why. Also, I think they just did 1 and 2 separating the Others from DW and the exclusive others in a different catagory |

I don't think the SW sections were ever intended to be sorted by game, I don't think it's "Characters from SW1" "characters from SW2" but more "SW character group 1, then group 2, then group 3" and so on, just for organizational purposes, but also because they probably couldn't fit all the SW2 characters on one line. |

The answer is simple: that time, it was in 4:3 screen, and the SW2 roster wouldn't be enough to hold all the characters without separate it into 'SW3'. |

In the original Warriors Orochi, the Samurai Warriors characters were separated by game. They fit fine in Warriors Orochi 1. They just needed to put the 2XL characters into SW3. |

^ Thank you, Lawliet. That's the best explanation one could give! ![]() I don't see how this is even complicated consider SW3 wasn't even announced when WO2 came out. So SW3 doesn't mean characters from SW3 here. Topic locked. |
