![]() FreeJack is an online Parkour game aka Free Running. It's a great game to unwind and stop the grinding and all since it's a racing game there is less stress, less time consuming and more fun. The game is published by GamerKraft which i think is kinda new since I never heard of them before and they only currently have 2 games. (Sorry for the lack of screenshots and videos but I had trouble with Screen shots and videos on CBT) As stated before the game is great to let loose and not continuous grinding and questing. It's a great game to play if your taking a break from all that killing stuff from exp. From playing the CBT I could honestly say I'm actually looking forward to the OB which is on the 1st October. FreeJack has a nice comicy kinda graphics and well, is a racing game. Of course if your the competitive type you'd probably want to win win win, there is nothing wrong with that, winning gets you emblems and emblems get you ability cards and ability cards improve your stats. If your like me and play the game for the fun of it then winning isn't that important. FreeJack is a racing game but it also has stats. There is Speed, name says it all. Agility, better Agility means better Drifting skills. Toughness, can withstand more attacks and have faster regeneration. Technique, gets over obstacles faster. The Agility stat and the Technique Stat is pretty much universal and important in any race type. Anyways moving on, FreeJack has a number of modes, 1st one is Item-Race. In Item-Race you'll get to use your special abilities and other things you'll get during the race. Each character has a different attack item so everyone of them is unique ! The other standard items and Health Regen/Suck and SP Regen/Suck. In an Item-Race it isn't always about speed. If your in the lead and get bombarded with attacks you're pretty much gonna get left behind. If your HP hits 0 you'll have to recover which is where you need higher toughness stats. So an Item-Race is pretty much an easy race to win and also an easy race to lose. Next is the Speed Race. The name says it all, It's all about speed. The faster you are the better. In this race you'll get no items just pure speed running, fastest wins, as easy as that. Of course to win this is harder because well if you're slow you lose, you might not even finish. Usually those with +10 Speed Ability Cards are in these races. The Above 2 races can be also be played in a Team Battle style. In Team Battle everyone contributes, you finish or not, you will still get points depending on your placing. If you get 1st place but all your other team mates are at the bottom then you most likely won't win because your team has less points compared to the other team. Next up Club battles. Pretty much says it all. A Club is like a guild in FreeJack gather people up and race other clubs in a Team Battle. So yeah that's how it goes Winning club gets Points that move them up in the Club Ranking. There is also story mode for all you solo players there. Story mode pretty much well, Story Mode. In Story Mode you get items and cash by completing the story of course 1 level of the story has 3 stages, Easy, Medium, and Hard. That's it for the modes next is the Ability Cards. Ability cards in this game are like upgrades, you insert them into an item you bought and it gives you a stat boost, the highest Ability Card being a +10. Ability Cards aren't easy to get, to get them you need Emblems and to get Emblems you to win a race or not finish last, the higher your position in the race the more emblems you get. After getting Emblems you'll have to mic and match to get the Ability Cards you desire and once you get what you want you have to roll for it, this totally depends on your luck. If you miss you'll have to mix and match the emblems again, unless you locked your previous cards. Of course you won't get much from reading this. To really get the feel of the game you'll have to play. Open beta is on the 1st of October. I'll be there, I'll probably be making a club too. |

Yeah, I was the same but, after countless games and non-stop grinding I find that racing games are sort of refreshing you know. Taking a quick break from all that grinding.
