The only time I spent in a MP suit on DWG2 was unlocking skills(although I did use the Ball, Zaku II and Zaku Tank on friendship missions for the fun of it) which for me made me rage quit more times then not so. I voted to deleted them, but that being said I would rather them revamped then deleted as some are fun to play with. Ones in need of serious retooling Turn X The Gaza's GunCannon (I'd say upgrade it to an Ace Suit) Any with different affiliations (Like the Bawoo) The Zaku II, Z'Gok, & Gelgoog (at least make the more different then Char's custom ones) Also I would mind seeing MP suits from other series( Edited by master_zuo_ci, Wed Oct 27, 2010 10:34 am.

Yeah especially the Turn X! And Guncannon would be sweet. Bawoo I'd love to see. And Gaza C/D's we might see considering ZZ is getting a large addition of MS. |

i say, only bring them back as playables, if it doesn't take away from any other parts of the game. it's cool and all, but it's a feature i can live without. |

I dunno - there would be something very weird about having unlockable playable characters which like Gundam 2 force you to use a Mobile suit they would not normally be wearing. I like having the option to do this but being forced to simply as the lesser important playables ie Sleggar or M'quve simply as their mobile suits are not any of the main featured ones. The only real middle ground is give each playable their traditional Gundams but make sure each is to a degree unique from the rest of the grunts as such. I mean i wouldnt care if i never got to play as half the grunts as the novelty does wear off but i did like the almost pokemon element of getting them all... it also made most of the missions on mission mode actually worthwhile such as the part collection missions which otherwise no one would have bothered with etc. |

Seems to me it would make more sense to revamp them. I am sure some people like playing as a Dom, Barzam, Gouf, Gaza or Geara Doga. It would be sad to lose all the unique suits and force everyone to play Gundam, Gundam Z, Gundam ZZ, Gundam Wing, Gundam Dragon, Gundam Unicorn, Gundam Goblin, Gundam Skydragger, Justice Gundam, Freedom Gundam, Free Market Gundam, Knight Gundam, Samurai Gundam, Musketeer Gundam... blah, blah, blah. All a bunch of nearly identical sentai colored suits that are almost indistinguishable from each other to the point where if a 'paint' mode was utilized hardly anyone would know the difference. All the real variety is in the class 2 and 3 suits. But if the game doesn't really showcase and utilize that variety then that's the real flaw. The suits shoud be revamped to be a bit more interesting-- particularly if the enemy AI s upped. Maybe the gruns could actually become a measurable threat rather than merely being a wall one beats on as fast as possible to reach the needed score to take the zone. Goufs grabbing or tripping you with their heat rods, DOMs hovering just how of reach and firing missiles across the field at you and Zakus tossing grenades with area-of-effect blasts would really alter the whole scope, feel and tempo of the game. And then maybe the suits would be considered to be interesting enough that no one would want to get rid of those suits. Also-- altering the powerlevel when controlled a bit more might help. For instance, the Barzam and Gaza are supposed to be signifigantly more powerful than the original Gundam (which was only on par with a Gelgoog if it hadn't been for its pilot). So why would they be weaker when controlled by the same pilot? |

I dunno looking at those scans they might have boosted grunts to Class 2 officially abolishing Class 3, and boosting all ACE suits to Class 1, I mean Guncannon, Hambrabi, and Turn X? That's already 3 and they might not reveal all of them so that convinces me already. But it also looks like grunts are getting air SP attacks as well (and the GINN isn't the 1st MS you'd think be made a class 2, Acguy yeah but not GINN so that's another big factor in the matter) so if Koei is already making the necessary steps to make Grunts playable so I say we shouldn't count grunts out just yet. |

Can't say I'm a big fan of the mass production suits. I don't mind their presence, but being forced to use them in mission mode was pretty dirty of Koei to do. Although I think forcing us into suits at all was a terrible choice and I hope it does not return. I agree with a few that have posted before, I'd rather have original mode again, instead of mission mode. If they make an original mode, then by all means, keep the MP suits. |

All grunts have been confirmed to have Charge attacks and SP attacks on land and air so grunts are cool now. |

The grunts are playable now, which is nice, especially since that measnt I can effectively use the Jegan or Marasai. I godamn love those things. |
