On November 13th (14th in the Philippines), Manny Pacquiao will fight against Antonio Margarito for the vacant WBC Super Welterweight/WBC Light Middleweight title in Cowboys Stadium, this was also Pacquiao's second fight here in Texas, and it was also Margarito's got a license.

:) So, what do you guys think about this boxing match-up?

Looking forward to it, though I'm not a hardcore fan. I'll likely just be watching the replay.

Glad to see another fight with him, especially after the Mayweather debacle. I've been hearing rumors though that this fight might be Pacquiao's last?

I really don't know but, Margarito's height was the thing.

Yeah... Margarito's height would be an advantage over Pacquiao but who knows? Pacquiao already have done many things in the ring for the past years. :)

And I really hope it would be his last. I don't want to see him fighting with Mayweather. That dude's ghey...

I really know.

But Margarito's reach was ''73 while Pacquiao's is ''67.

Have you guys watch the Pacquiao/Margarito 24/7 on HBO?

Well, the fight is over, and Pacquiao won. From what I've gathered, Pacquaio pretty much annihilated Margarito, with the full 12 rounds being fought. By the 10th the outcome was obvious, but for whatever reason, possibly for showmanship, they continued.

Pacquiao won his 8th title, and is the new WBC Super Welterweight champion. AFAIK, no one has ever won 8 titles in a row, right?

During the early fights, Margarito had the power, but Pacquiao had the speed. From what I've seen of the early rounds, Pacquiao was just fast.

Wow! Thanks for the info, kaibigan (friend)! Where do you watch the live event yesterday?

I just watch the live bout in the cinema yesterday, and it was amazing. But one thing for sure is, Margarito's face got destroyed by Pacquiao's destructive punches and incredible speed. That was just unbelievable.

By the way in the undercard fights, two Filipino boxers (Richie Mepranum and Dennis Laurente) have won against their respective opponents, but one Filipino boxer (Juan Martin Elorde*) is lost against a Mexican boxer (Angel Rodriguez) via unanimous decision. Also, Margarito's ally Brandon Rios won against Omri Lowther in the fifth round via TKO, Cuban boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux beats Panama's Ricardo Cordoba via split decision, and finally Mike Jones won against Jesus Soto Karass via unanimous decision.

* - Juan Martin is the grandson of legendary boxer Gabriel 'Flash' Elorde.

And your question of yours is correct, Pacquiao is the first and only person to become a octuple champion.

Also that I watched the news recently, many boxing fans and analysts have wished to see the Pacquiao-Mayweather superfight.

Pacquiao's speed beats Margarito's strength and power. 'Nuff said.

Lmao, everybody wants Pacquiao to fight Mayweather, even Daniel Radcliffe.

I'm starting to think Mayweather's starting to get freaked out too. Remember when he called out Pacquiao with a racial slur? The guy's probably desperate.
