According to Bahamut. This thread: http://forum.gamer.com.tw/C.php?bsn=60281&snA=65585&last=1#down (There are pictures in the thread relate to the earlier PS3 rumor which proved to be fake) indicated that a new Sengoku Musou will coming to PS3 next January. The title would be "Sengoku Musou 3 Z", release date is 01/27/2011. Price would be 1950 NTD. People at the forum speculated that at the same time "Sengoku Musou 3" for the Wii would recieve an expansion pack which all of you would be familiar with, and at the same time, this "Z" marked title will contain both the new expansion as well as the initial Sengoku Musou 3 game in one pack, much like "Musou Orochi Z" and the 360 title "Sengoku Musou 2 with Moushouden". At this stage, without any firm evidence, we can only treat it as a rumor. But still, it's better than nothing. ---------------------------- EDIT: magazine scans added on the 2nd page, it's real!! Release date is indeed 27/01/2011. Wii will get SM3Moushouden and PS3 will get SM3Z!! Edited by Kaon, Thu Nov 25, 2010 5:23 pm.

I hope it's true if not oh well DW7 comes out in March anyway. Still I would prefer they include the Empires mode (and CAW) with the original game. That would be awesome. |

This is interesting news. Through it is a rumor, it's still interesting. Thanks for sharing this with us. Guess that means we will all just have to keep an eye on it. Again, a million thanks for sharing this discovery. Hopefully it has truth to it. It wouldn't hurt no one.

As true as that is on what you have just said... The exclusive contract between Koei and Nintendo can be voided by Koei themselves anytime they please. Or it could expire as well, seeing as I highly doubt that the contract is a life time one. Koei, having the sheer thought of losing out on an opportunity, to make some enough money with this game, in the back of their hands. Also, this especially could be true, if enough people ask for it, (Which would ultimately sorely happen due to the demand for it from there Asian Market / Fanbase) then Koei will make it happen. ![]() If this is something people really want to happen, (And who doesn't) then it's best to have faith in Koei, in them making it a reality.

It still wouldn't matter though, because Nintendo STILL does hold the publishing rights in at LEAST the USA and Europe. Even if Koei does some how try to find a loop-hole to release a PS3/360 version Japan, it won't help American fans any. In short, take a look at the likes of Tales of Symphonia. Namco eventually went and made a PS2 port (with extras) in order to try and make more money. However, because Nintendo was the publisher of the US version, they couldn't release the PS2 version in the West. |

They only have rights to the game, as long as the contract is active. Once that contract expires, unless it's a life time one, then Koei can do as they please with the game. But I acknowledge what you are saying bro. ![]() Tales of Symphonia? Man... How I wish a second version of that game would get made... Unless it already did........

Samurai Warriors 3 still use the same combo system from Samurai Warriors 2 / Warriors Orochi or they ruined the game with something like the horrible system from Dynasty Warriors 6? |

It'll still use the same combo frame. If this comes to be true, then the name of the game, is only a representation, that it'll have extra modes and features in it. Say for example: Online Cooperation for Free Mode, and Story Mode. Because if this was to happen, then there would be no Murasame Castle Mode. Seeing as that's property of Nintendo.

As far as I know, the contract was for Sengoku Musou 3. Not a certain 'Sengoku Musou 3 Z." This is very likely. It's the same situation for Tales of Vesperia, and to a lesser extent what Koei did for Musou Orochi Z. |

Ninja. Gaiden. Sigma. 2. MUCH better example. Hell, it was not only KT's first release as a joined company, NG2 was published exclusively by Microsoft.

We all have faith in Koei, but has Koei ever had faith in us? (Referring to, Dynasty Warriors Strike Force 2, PSP JAP only, WOZ, PS3 JAP Only. DW7, JAP PS3 Only.) |

I'm going to go into Liu Bei mode and simply wait and see what happens on this one. Even if they do make it, the chances of it hitting the states is rare. Not going to hold my breath until I see definitive proof. |

Woohoo, finding this out on the same day I bought SW3 for my Wii ![]() Then again, I don't even have PS3.... I wouldn't mind if it'd true, so people who dont have a Wii can have some fun with this game. But if it has Gracia, I'll prolly buy it somewhere along the line again.... @Chibi Koei might do what they did for WoZ, with the whole PSP thing. Samurai Warriors 3 for the PSP/3DS with all the fun stuff from 'Z'? Sounds good to me. |

Good question. That would make alot of sense to me, if that were / is the case. Samurai Warriors Three Xtreme Legends. Now featuring stories for the characters that were already in the game, but didn't have stories, because Koei ran out of time. Bringing back the cut characters, because Koei ran out of time. Online Cooperation for all of the modes, because Koei ran out of time. I think you get where I'm coming from?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you must be talking about Masanori Fukushima, and Aya Gozen? Yes, how could I have forgotten about them? Sure, someone could say that you can remake them, in Create-A-Warrior Mode, use them in Free Mode, and make up a story for them. But then the counter to that would be... Why do that? Everyone else has gets a story, so why not them? ![]() Good Stuff.

I always thought they made the unique appearances for those two with an idea towards making them playable for future versions of the games on other consoles but was thinking more of a Samuari Warriors 3 Empires or even Samurai Warriors 4. I cant really say i have much hope for any truth in this rumour but would be awesome if it were the case and even then only it was set for a release outside of japan. I actually favour the Charge system in the SW games far more than i do the one in DW series (and most definately over Renbu) so this game should be great fun if it sees the light of day especially with nine to eleven new characters to play for all PS3 and potentially Xbox 360 fans to play compared to what they had with SW2. |

They didn't run out of time. I've heard that out of the 7 FMO characters only Toshiie was supposed to have story mode (as evidenced by large inclusion in Keiji's cutscenes) but the idea was dropped later on. They just didn't feel like having stories for some characters (like Okuni, which is understandable). |

Lu Meng had a lot of importance in Gan Ning and Lu Xun's cutscenes but he never got a story. He and Toshiie were just FMO characters that were actually given justice and played important enough roles in other characters' stories, as opposed to other FMO who just sort of fell to the wayside (at least as far as cut scenes go. They only account for 30% of the story in SW3 anyway). |
