There is not someone who said there would be no new characters?

It's very well possible, seeing as if it does get an international release, the NA/EU is likely to get both PS3 and 360. Look at what they did with DW7? I wouldn't worry to much... if it makes it overseas, then I'm sure 360 owners will get a chance at this game too.
Well hope SMZ have an international release as you said -_- , and about MOZ... well i dont know why Koei dont release this game out of japan, but i think this was a big mistake <_< .

I think sw3z will go to 360 when release to eu/na . All swxl had new characters. Naomasa Li and Nobuyuki Sanada (design him like yukimura)will be potential add because leyasu clan has a little bit officers . Maybe Goemon , Musashi , Kojiro and Kennyo will return . If sw3 will go to psp . I will very surprise .

No words can express how happy I am to hear Gracia is back in the series. No effing idea. But first, lemme just clarify; all of these additions to SW3 is ONLY for the PS3? Or will the Samurai Warriors 3 Xtreme Legends for the Wii include Gracia, Aya and Masanori too? I'm just scared that I might have read it all wrong >_<

I can confirm for you the site does indeed state Sengoku Musou 3 Z runs at 60 frames. Also mentioned something about new actions, but I'm not sure if its really new at all seeing as I haven't played the original version, and thus unfamiliar with the technical terms from it.
Thanks for the heads up man. ;) What you mentioned could be the new Challenge Mode that is supposed to replace Murasame Castle Mode in the original SW3. I just hope Koei will be able to release this outside of Japan. Don't want to import this tbh.
I totally agree. :D I'll do you one better man. Let's just hope that Koei fully utilizes Online Cooperation, instead of just locking it down, to just one mode. :kurokan:

But if Koei somehow does the unthinkable, and has an option for English Subtitles, (I highly doubt it) then importing should no longer be questionable. ^_^

I think the Tokugawa deserve more LOYAL retainers in this game besides Tadakatsu, Hanzo and Ina (Masamune's a bit loyal I guess and Kanbei's....Kanbei...). But seriously, they're like the only 3 standing tall for Tokugawa. Naomasa Li and maybe Hidetada Tokugawa could fix that.
How about Torii Mototada? I much rather see him than Naomasa, plus he would add an entire new level that nobody else ever could (It would be weird if the Western army were facing an army of generics for such an important battle, so without him it would likely never get added), plus the guy was a total bamf, he took on the entire western army with, what was it, 20 or less soldiers? AND he had a limp! He went down like a badass. Naomasa just kinda got sick and gave up. I dunno, I've always felt Mototada would be the way more interesting inclusion, though I rarely see people mention him. Nobuyuki would also be a great add to the Tokugawa, More Sanada/Tokugawa dynamics, plus add some more depth to Ina and Yukimura's friendship. Though I don't think anyone will be added as a full fledge new character, I'm thinking returning people (Musashi and Kojiro maybe) and the rest will be NPC.
Wow, he does sound cool. I like this idea. Mototada does sound like a good addition but hell, add him and Naomasa! Tokugawa deserves more love. -_-

Btw, am I the only one who thinks Kanbei and Gracia being friends of some sort would be touching? (Considering both were Christians...) it's just a thought.

I think (and hope) that'll be Gracia and Masamune  (Masamune was christian too)
After all, they was with Magoichi in the end of the SW2.
Also I hope to see the sister of Magoichi    (Maggie Saika, I still don't believe in a genderswap made by capcom, why do this? and with just one caracter?)
Sorry for the bad english and a good day to you :)

Hm...I saw something on the Z site that said 40. Does that mean 40 characters? Or is there Japanese text around it that says "Over 40"?

The characters are included in both versions.

Z is getting the original SW3 in HD + 60fps + the extra announced characters + a new challenge mode to replace Murasame.

Uh there was no proof in history WHO Magoichi was....Could be girl or guy. Magoichi is just the name used for the leader of the saika. It wasnt a real person named that.

So Doesnt matter the character kinda fictional to an extent

You clearly have no idea what the hell you're talking about. There is documentation on Magoichi and the men who had the title.

Capcom just made use of the fact the name is given to the leader of the Saika Ikki to allow for a new female character.

Friends i am presented with a conondrum, as many of you no doubt share my situation, i own Samurai Warriors 3 for the Wii. Problem is now that the PS3 port is coming out, i just know it's gonna be superior in it's graphics and speed, albeit without murasame mode. SO here's my question, given that i'm not yet done with half of SW3, do i hold off for the PS3 release, or do i finish my game and instead get Xtreme Legends?
I could use some help with this one

There isn't even any solid evidence that SW3Z will come to the states or the UK. It is very possible that it will remain in Japan.

So it isn't an easy question to answer. If the time comes and it remains a Japan exclusive, you will have a half completed SW3 and Xtreme Legends being release, meaning you may have to play catch up.

On the other hand, if it does come out elsewhere, then you'll have to do it all over again.

So chalk it up to...do you want to risk it and which do you prefer? Do you mind starting over?

Ok i'm going to level with everyone, i thought DW6Empires was the best title in any warriors series. So I was a little put out by how inferior SW3 handled and looked, and felt. But now it seems that Koei is gonna give it a MAJOR overhaul, and i'm pretty sure i want some of that pie! But on the other hand well, i already own the game soi'm basically seeing equal pros and cons on either side.

I don't know about major overhaul-- you can see from the way Warriors Orochi was converted to HD that the difference isn't actually all that spectacular, and from the screenshots featured on the Z site it appears much the same way with Samurai Warriors. The effects may make it look shinier/cleaner, but it doesn't really look all that much different (see also: Sengoku Basara 3 is much the same way).
