SW4 has plenty of material it can still bring. - Nobunaga's campaign for the capital region Vs. Miyoshi, Matsunaga, Saika, Honganji(despite being one of Nobunaga's biggest campaigns we still have not had the Siege of Ishiyama-Honganji) - Nobunaga's western campaign(we have so far just Kizugawaguchi, none of the battles against the Hatano, Bessho, Ukita, or the other Mouri battles) - The Hojo conquest of Kanto(Kawagoe is a nice start but there's more than that) - ALL of the Mouri campaigns against Otomo, Chosokabe, Amago and the Oda(so far we have just Kizugawaguchi, everything else is fictional) - The Otomo, Miyoshi, Amago, Ryuzoji clans, just to name a few significant ones |

Most likely they will. The main reason why they didn't have them in the Original Samurai Warriors Three game, was because they had Color Edit for you to fiddle around with.

Having an Onin War period for the game would be an amazing addition. What better way to intro the Sengoku Era, right? Plus, we'd get to see more of the Hosokawa and Ashikaga clans, perhaps, as real officers and not generic NPC's. |

Do you think they would have an easier time adding things if they ditched individual Musou's and took a Kingdom approach? |

Yeah, they would, but the main problem with that (besides fans going off into a riot) is that, unlike DW, there are an awful lot of clans/armies/kingdoms in the Sengoku Period. A lot more than in DW. I'm sure if they tried they could dumb it all down into four, five different clans, with anyone else not fitting into the Oda, Hashiba, Toyotomi (West) and Tokugawa(East) into the Others category, but still... that's a lot of others. I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I can't imagine the backlash that Koei would get if they even brought it to the drawing board. |

Yeah, unlike DW, all of the characters are not exactly in set factions. Multiple characters can be part of multiple clans as time passes. Heck, look at Hideoyshi; part of the Oda, later establishes the Toyotomi. The thing about the SW roster is that roughly half of them don't spend their entire stages in one clan. Some, like Nobunaga, No, Ranmaru, Mitsunari, Sakon, Ieyasu, Hanzo, Ina, Tadakatsu, Katsuie, Ujiyasu or Hanbei do stay on one set course, but others like Hideyoshi, Toshiie, Keiji, Yukimura, Kiyomasa, or Kanetsugu don't. If a Kingdom mode was ever applied to SW, it would only work for those that have stayed with one clan their entire lifespans. That, and so far, the period that the SW games covers isn't as long as DW's. With DW7 going up to Jin, that period covers nearly under a century of battles (184AD-280AD). Conversely, SW's main starting point is Okehazama (1560), with it ending at Osaka Castle (1615). Edited by Xalfrea, Mon Nov 8, 2010 7:14 am.

In SW2 that's the case, but SW1, SW2XL and SW3 had Yoshimoto in it, thereby making Okehzama the first major battle. Also, the Kawanakajima battle is actually the 4th battle, taking place in 1561, a year after Okehazama. |

I think you take your 'estimations' way too seriously and your insults were not necessary.
SW3 has proven lately that they can start earlier if they really wanted; they only really chose Okehazama due to it being the starting point of Nobunaga's rise to power. The period started much earlier than that. It's only a matter of how much earlier they can go before there's only 1-2 guys hanging around. Edited by Amakusa, Mon Nov 8, 2010 8:41 am.

What about Asakura? Is he should be playable? оr one Nagamasa for northern clans will be enough? For Nobunaga`s story need in chronological order such warlods as Dosan Saito, Kennyo Honganji, Hisahide Matsunaga and possible Yoshikage Asakura. From officers Matsu Maeda and maybe Nagahide Niwa (not sure that Nobunaga need new characters) Otomo Sorin had no connection with Nobunaga, but his presense important for Mouri, Toyotomi, Tachibana, Shimazu... I'm not liking Gracia's new look, I much prefer how she looks in SW2:XL. I'm looking forward to playing the other stories, as well as unlocking the new unique weapons. Kojiro Sasaki and Musashi Miyamoto in the video game would be a bonus, but if they are not in or replaced by others I won't be that bothered. |

Hey, you start this by saying that I made up my estimations now reap what you sow I’ll breakdown on how I got my estimations for you, so you can get a better picture. First of all I printed all the post from six threads in the Samurai Warriors 3 topic area. Which are “Sengoku Musou 3 Z confirmed, scans inside”, “Speculation: XL/Z Story Stages”, “SW3 for PS3?”, “Will there be Samurai Warriors 3 for PS3/360?”, “Samurai Warriors 3 Complaints Thread”, and “Pros and Cons about Samurai Warriors 3” before my post. Then pull up all the information for Sengoku Musou 3 Z from ten gaming sites. After I print all those post I categorize them into three categories: Additional Characters, Stories & Stages; Release of Game in NA & EU; and Not Applicable and tally them up count each member reply as one. Then I input this data I collected and feed it into a spreadsheet program and crunch the numbers and then take off five to ten percent for safety reasons. This took me three days to compile this data using my off time from work. On the matter on the insults, there was only one insult in my last post and it was followed by a length elaboration and if you can’t take that insult then maybe you need to be more cautious on what you post and reply on. Because I have been in crueler and vicious forms that would intimidate other people because they don’t hold back and will tear you a new, so a friend warning be careful and what you post and reply in these threads. |

Save this for another time. There is no need for arguing here. It will not be tolerated. Anyway, I was thinking, how come they never did the battle, where Nobunaga went up against the monks? I forget what it was called, but he basically slaughtered all of the monks, and I believe it was on a mountain, if I am not mistaken. |

This is going to sound harsh, but I need to say this. All of that is pointless information that I highly doubt anyone here cares about. It is possible to think way too hard about stuff, and you did insult Amakusa so I'm going to ask you to stop. --- As for the Asakura, I had forgotten about them. Koei could still give us Nobunaga's battles with them outside of Anegawa and Kanegasaki, such as the Battle of Tonezaka where the Asakura were finally defeated by Nobunaga. |

Speaking of Monks, whatever happened to that one monk-ish guy in SW1? I believe he only showed up at the end of Magoichi's story mode to resist Nobunaga, but he ended up surrendering anyway. |

Ah! I remember the name of it! It was called Mt. Hei. I wonder why that isn't in the games. Perhaps monks would prove too controversial? There is also that battle where Katsuie got injured and there was a flood or something, and it ended wth Nobunaga setting fire to a fort that contained many men, women, animals, and children. (sad...) Edited by Mei Ling, Tue Nov 9, 2010 12:16 am.

I 'll let it go but it is not the first time I had a clash with Amakusa or other members with Amakusa. I know it's hard to monitor all the post and replies sincely you are one of the Moderators, but take a good look a the post in this topic in the eighth page between Amakusa and other members. Or how I didn't mind Amakusa replies in the topic "Will there be Samurai Warriors 3 for PS3/360?" in the fourth or fifth pages of that topic, but Amakusa attack me direction with the comment, made up statistics which they were not suppose to be. I do not want to get deeply invloved in an heated argue and get banned from another forum. For which I am deeply sorry to other member of the forum and you as Moderator for take this off subject. |

I hope Koei plans on adding more characters than what's already confirmed. & for the new stages their adding, I hope they're not going to re-use the maps from the original sw3. But other than that, pretty excited, although the USA release will probably be in the summer of 2011, oh well. I hope they give Nohime a story mode !! & DREAM STAGES !! yess. |

Fixed. If I wanted No to just have a story mode, I'd play SW2. Yeah, if it wasn't made obvious already, I LOATHE No's SW2 story. Seriously, what the heck happened? Her SW1 story was one of the best in the entire game. And yes, No will have a story mode. Whether or not it will even be good is a different matter entirely.
