Hmmmm looks like Noh's story might be as juicy as the SW1 version. Looks like Gracia snuck on a ship and followed her father :hehe: . I'm glad they will get more devolpement this time around. Last time it was like he was a passing person.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's happy that Nohime is going back to what it appears to be her Samurai Warriors One story. (As it's my absolute favorite one) :D

Regarding Gracia? I again must agree with you. Gracia has so much potential to have the best storyline out of everyone in the entire Samurai Warriors Universe. It's just that Koei hasn't tapped into her story. (i.e. Background) :ken:

So she definitely deserves some more light to be shed on her. That way, it will help us to better understand Gracia's character, as well as her personality. ^_^

I also loved the flirty pychopath persona of Noh from the first game... the only negative i had with her back in the day overall all though was her rivalry with Okuni, it just didnt seem to add anything to the game for herself or Okuni for that matter. She was by a mile the darkest female in the game and thats the way it should be.

Agreed on Gracia, i remember how excited we all were when she was first revealed for SW2XL back in the day and how they could tap into her relationship with her father and how she was a devoit christian and how all of this would be added into her story (none of that in the end, she was a Magoichi stalker instead).

Yoshimoto clearly going all kemari in the head again but based on Muneshige being in one of the screenshots this time he seems to be targeting his "new" friends so im expecting a big finally with Aya, Gracia, Masanori, Kanbei etc all playing kemari with him haha. He was never going to be anything else storywise though was he given he is effectively the first playable dead in the battles covered in the game every time anyway (so like Zhang Juo in DW series they give him an OTT persona and people love him for it regardless)

You'd think Yoshimoto would be involved in something involving the 3 Kanto rulers (Shingen, Kenshin, Ujiyasu), considering that they along with Yoshimoto are part of the old guard of Daimyo before Nobunaga came along.

I hope the ending isn't the same as the one in SM2XL

I'm ready to serve you all

Haven't played SW for a long time since SW 2 XL, actually when SW 3 was released i'm not interested to buy the game (especially since it's only for Nintendo Wii and i don't have the console) but when i knew the game will be ported to PS3 and i saw this :Posted Image

i'm definitely will buy this game as long there will be english version, and i will put Gracia and Aya Gozen to be my top 4 Female chars (after Okuni, and Oichi) :)

From what we see on the screenshots, Gracia seems much better than before as regards the movesets. Good point.

Very true. I myself really didn't find anything wrong with Gracia's moveset. It's just that you had to grind yourself to getting in the habbit of using her specials. Seeing as she was a magic user, that's where she shined the most. Of course, it was't expected that anyone would be using her magic attacks for an entire stage. :P

Still, I found her moveset to be somewhat enjoyable. Though I still say that she should get some bladed yo-yo's that fire missiles out of them.

Hey! If Ieyasu Tokugawa can have a damn spear that fires cannons, why not Gracia have yo-yo's that can fire out missiles? :shifty:

Looks like Gracia somehow hid herself in a box to go to Kizugawa to be with her dad.... at least that's what I'm guessing. That's ridiculously cute for some reason Nice move in Koei's part, it's in character and shes with her daddy! Considering Mitsuhide betrayed Nobunaga 2 maps later, we might see her at that stage.
I'm a bit curious to see her interaction with Nobunaga, if there is any.

Any translation on the scans?

Yeah, I think that's it. Her father would certainly not be in danger and she has to ask her not to come. But inevitably, Gracia has not listened to and hid in a box in order to follow.

That screenshot of Gracia looks so cute ^_^ I think it's good they're doing something else with her story this time around.

I'm curious to see what they'll do with Okuni though, I think she'll just be a wonderer again but I think there's a lot they can do with her :)

Gracia's so cute. <3

The graphics look amazing! Yosh! Go Koei Go! XD

I hope Okuni's story has her traveling again. Maybe this time she's doing it to learn of war and then act them out in her dances or something. That'd make her kinda like a historian so there's a good connection between her and Motonari!

I'd like that. I'd really like that!

The graphics look like they have definitely improved.

I just pray we'll get both the PS3 and Wii versions. It would suck if we get only the one platform again while the other doesn't get localized.

So is there any chance this game gets the DW7 treatment where it remains a PS3 exclusive in Japan but gets a 360 release as well in America and Europe?

SW3 is a game I've wanted to play for a long time due to SW2XL being my favorite Warriors game. It'll be lame if I'll really never be able to play it, however, as a 360 owner unless I want to shell out the money for two systems I don't really want (or have the money for).

She had a rivalry with Okuni?! WHAT?! Lol, I don't have a PS2, so I never got to play the first Samurai Warriors. From what I've seen from Tiny Caterpillar's videos, she and Okuni travel together in one of Okuni's bazillion endings. What is this so called rivalry?

Regarding Okuni's story mode, as I've stated before, it probably will go something along the lines of this:

1. Dance of
2. Dance of
3. Dance of
4. Dance of
5. Dance of
6. Dance of

Much as I like the idea of her having multiple endings, there are no in-game cutscenes anymore are there? I have not seen any.

Funny how Samurai Warriors has never made it into PS3, hitting up PS2 AND 360, but not PS3.

Weird.

sooo if the WII version had Japan and English voice options.......why cant a blu ray? Shouldnt this be released as international with both options since they already had it on SW3 for Wii? How hard would it be to port that?

Concerning Okuni, I though she interacts with Motonari for this opus. :shifty:

You know what I think this should be ported to ps3 in uk and us as this is kinda the same deal as ninja gaiden on 360 and ninja gaiden sigma on PS3 i mean just like ninja gaiden sigma 1 & 2 they were both the exact same as ninja gaiden 1 & 2 but with added content and this is basically SW3 but with extra content and alot of people didnt buy SW3 because it was on WII (me included) and alot of people would prefer a better version so sony could make alot of money compared to nintendo's XL version.

Hmm... I hope they won't repeat the story she had in SW. Since they have added tons of new characters since SW1, I expect her to interactions with totally different characters. For some reason I too think that she interacts with Motonari. :shifty:

And actually there are five stages for each story, not six, just to correct you.

I think she meant Oichi, not Okuni.

Ofcourse blu-ray can store both languages. Koei just didn't bother to add this feature in until quite recently. Warriors Orochi 2 for the PSP had both English and Japanese voices.

It is cute but I still detest mitsuhide for his betrayal of Nobunaga. Hate the father not the daughter. The little akechi snake!!! Long Live Nobunaga!! Long Live the Demon King of Kings!!!! Banzai!!!
