Hmm... I am curious how long till the American release...? I mean I looked SW2XL and when it came in Japan it took quite a while for it to be released overseas... I can't wait I'm going to get both Z and XL too... just because...

totally off topic but i :heart: this game the only problems i see with it are my two fav characters. noh still moves away from her target when using her musou, one would think you would want to close distance not increase it, i wish she would walk forward instead and oichi's new moveset looks awesome, but it also looks kinda slow i just hope they speed her up a bit kinda like a minor tweak ( e.g. when da ji was hard to play as in warriors orochi but then in # 2 she had a lot more control and she wasn't sliding everywhere. ) hopefully thats not asking for to much :P

OK I'll try to do some.

So first, impressions on Aya's moves.
Normal attacks are just using staff to swing around, 6th and 7th attacks are attached with ice blocks flying forward.

charge1 = ice blocks flying around
charge2 = uppercut shockwave with short range
c3 = slaps, stuns opponent
c4 = thunder attack surrounding herself
c5 = water splash sends enemies up in the air
c6 = similar to Kenshin's c1 with multiple hits
c7 = samw as Oichi's c7 in SW2
c8 = ice blocks falling around herself
c9 = similar to c6 but with wider range and multiple hits shockwave
musou = creates barrier and attack enemies within it
kaiden = ice rain, similar to Ginchiyo
special = same as Oichi
-----------------------------------
The hit stop is improved compare to SW3, almost unaware of.
Lip sync is similar to SW2 which is somewhat realistic.
Loading for SW3M(Wii) is quick but the framerate hasn't changed, around 30fps.
-----------------------------------
Gracia's attacks
c1 = still recovers musou guage
c2 = idk
c3 = light ball appear and widen range when 2nd hit
c4 = forward shockwave on 1st hit, light ball hit on 2nd
kaiden = similar to Goku's genki dama, hits at a short distance from herself

Masanori's attacks
c1 = grabs single opponent and hits
c2 = idk
c3 = kinda like Keiji's
c4 = charges(with attack effect which can avoid being attacked by soldiers) and 360 degree surrounding attack

I keep those that seem most interesting. ^_^

Aya standing on the snow? This does not surprise me. Nothing with her design, she made "Lady of the Snows". Finally, it further reinforces the impression that she has a healthy woman and thoughtful, I think.

Katsuie with Oichi and Nagamasa's body? Said like this, they seem dead, right? :/ If so, this promises to be a pretty sad scene. (Poor Oichi).

Nohime looks set to have a similar story to that which she has in Samurai Warriors 1. :shifty: Anyway, I hope, is a really good script she had. I rather prefer that she be devoted to her husband.

Ranmaru trying to protect Gracia That's something I could not have imagined. Usually, only Ranmaru wants to protect Nobunaga that he has only eyes. :lol: One could almost believe in young love, haha. Eager to see their interactions.

Great! This suggests that Okuni has interactions with Motonari. It's really perfect, I think the two complement each other, in a sense. I wonder what it will give. ^_^

I hope we can see the PV, I would see the scenes.
Anyway, this game will be mine. It is very good. :heart:

I got a huge question as it's been in and out my head and I want it to finally be answered, should Onimusha be included cause I swear when I saw Nobonuga Oda it was the first thing that came to my mind. Now I know more about DW series more than SW, so bare with me and help a brotha out ha ha ha.

I don't know much about the Onimusha series, but I believe the main character was Hidemitsu Akechi. Who was Mitsuhide's son-in-law?

I don't think he should be added, he wouldn't add anything except another playable character on the Akechi side at Honnoji. Though, like I said I know very little about any of this, so I might be totally wrong.

But, in terms of usefulness and "having a purpose" in the game, I am going to say no. But, hey...maybe its a good idea.

I mean didn't Onimusha have crucial beef with Oda, or was there just a fictional part? Well then again you don't know much, but I'm glad to know something.

I never saw the connection between Okuni and Motonari. Not to say the idea of their interaction doesn't amuse me, cause I am interested. But why those two? Is there something I missed?

Theoretically, there is nothing to them. Finally, I believe.

But oddly, the first time I played Samurai Warriors 3 with Okuni and I met Motonari, I told myself this: "Hey, this would be their interactions both." I like that feeling they complement each other (which is strange since they have actually no relation). I think they go well together and apparently, I'm not the only one to think.

They come from close areas of Japan, basically. Its more of a regional grouping than anything realistic or historic.

I have to clarify that Katsuie is standing beside Oichi, and she is crying over Nagamasa's death.

But, hey...maybe its a good idea.
I mean didn't Onimusha have crucial beef with Oda, or was there just a fictional part? Well then again you don't know much, but I'm glad to know something.
I don't play Onimusha series of games but I known enough of it from someone else. Onimusha series is mostly ficitional game except for the most part the names of the characters. In the first game it states that Nobunaga was killed by an arrow after the Battle of Okehazama, but in fact it wasn't true; Capcom wanted capitalized on Nobunaga nickname that he used to scare his enemies, "The Demon King of the Sixth Level of Hell." In the second game it involved Yagyu Jubei with Nobunaga, but Jubei wasn't born during the time of Nobunaga. The third game picks up again with Akechi Hidemitsu at the Honnoji Rebellion and time travel to Modern day Paris and back to the Azuchi-Momoyama period of the Sengkou Jidai Era. The fourth game involves Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Yuki Hideyasu (Soki) who was revealed in the game to be Hideyoshi's son, but the fact is that he has the adopted son of Hideyoshi and the second son of Tokugawa Ieyasu. At the end of the game he fades away or dies, but in fact he lived for nine more years after Hideyoshi's death.

Aw, poor Oichi. Nouhime is referencing Nobunaga's father? Or is she referencing hers?

Hers, if her SW1 story holds any merit here. Her dad didn't like Nobunaga and ordered his daughter to kill him whenever she had the chance. God, her story in SW1 was so epic... if Koei resurrects and improves upon this ending, I am sold. I will even forget the BS that happened in SW2...

OK for the rest:

Gracia's first episode

It opens with Mitsuhide answering the call and ready for battle, he tells Gracia to "stay at home and be a good kid". Gracia gets angry and says "don't treat me like a kid anymore" and "wish you good fortune in battle father".

After the scene which also happens in Mitsuhide's story, Gracia gets out of a cargo box on the ship, and ready to fight and learn about the outer world. Then she returns inside the box and soldiers come to carry it away.

The battle starts with joining forces with Mitsuhide, and some interactions with Hosokawa Fujitaka and Hosokawa Tadaoki.

Aya's first episode

She stands in the courtyard and snow is falling. Kenshin is by herside drinking sake. Kenshin wants to say something to her and she throws a snow ball back at Kenshin and says "the actions of our loved ones would not always be correct, if I would do anything wrong, please correct it by defeating me". Kenshin says yes and the scene is over.

The battle is at Kanto, narration voice has changed to the voice of Ujiyasu instead of the former Kenshin.
