I finally started getting 4th weapons on Samurai Warriors 3 Wii....and I don't feel like starting over. The game wasn't that good to warrant starting from scratch again. If Koei would've just released this game to begin with, then I would not have the dilemma of not wanting to start over...
True, but there's always mixjoy. As annoying as it is.

Still no overseas release dates announced yet. Gosh I hope we don't have to wait for nearly a whole year like we did with the original SW3. That was... devastating. :/

Eh, well I have faith in Koei. They like to please fans so I'll just wait I guess.

Eight days ago, there was something from Tecmo KOEI USA's Twitter:

Do you like DOA? How about Samurai Warriors? Then next week will be a very good week for you, so says my crystal ball...

This was about eight days ago. My hope is that they're about to announce an NA release (and if it gets released in NA, it'll most likely get released in EU, which is KOEI's favorite non-Japanese location anyway).

I hope so. The PS3 graphics are just amazing. But if it doesn't come overseas, I'm porting it.

But really, Koei's been working pretty hard lately to please fans. They gave us storylines for all the characters we wanted. Let's just hope they saw our prayers for overseas release too.

If SW3Z get released oversees than that would be the most amazing thing Koei did ever. I didn't play the SW series for ages, hopefully I will be able to play it on the PS3.

lol...

I'll translate later, right now sleepy.
Whoops, forgot about this.

-Nouhime-
First stage: Battle of Okehazama
Daughter of Dosan, wed to Nobunaga yadda yadda
Dosan's secret order to Nouhime
"If Nobunaga turns out a fool, kill him"
However, Nouhime did not have a decisive answer. In such a position, Nouhime is thrust into a desperate situation. As the famed Imagawa Yoshimoto of Suruga marches on Owari in his move towards the capital, she (sets aside her conflict and) focuses on the situation before her.

-Mori Ranmaru-
First stage: Battle of Anegawa
[insert background on Nobunaga attacking Asakura and getting backstabbed by the Azai here]
Ranmaru leads the advance forces (in the counterattack.) He focuses on sending the enemy to their graves, all in Nobunaga's name.

-Imagawa Yoshimoto-
First stage: Kemari Battle at Okehazama
Imagawa Yoshimoto was known as the best archer of the Tokai region. Knowledgeable in performance, he was also unparalleled at kemari. However, it is a time of strife.
Yoshimoto could find no one suitable to be his opponent. Unable to enjoy kemari with anyone, Yoshimoto led a sad life.
However, this turned around when "they" arrived. Date Masamune and Tachibana Muneshige. They said thus: If you have no opponent in Japan, then head out into the world.
Yoshimoto was enlightened. First, to become the best at kemari in Tokai, he challenged Oda Nobunaga of Owari.

-Fuma Kotaro-
First stage: Battle of Tonezawa
The head of the Fuma Ninja who serve the Hojo. At this time, Uesugi Kenshin aimed to attack the Hojo; in response, Hojo Ujiyasu joined hands with Takeda Shingen of Kai to defeat this threat.
If man lives, nature will be destroyed.
Yet, it is a fated cause to lend one's hand to man's work.
Having given this response to the wanderer Maeda Keiji, Fuma joins with his master Ujiyasu to do his stealthy work on the battlefield...

The Gracia part I think was translated already, so I'll leave it.

Honestly, I can't really see much they can do with Yoshimoto considering his highlights was before Okehazama. Sure they can make something involving Ujiyasu, Shingen and Kenshin, but without another Imagawa general and retainer he doesn't really have much to go on.

The only one that comes to mind for a Yoshimoto companion is Ieyasu. And man, Tokugawa Ieyasu is the Liao Hua of Samurai Warriors; he started off in the first chronological stage and ends at the last chronological stage.

It seems that sadly a lot of characters have Okehazama as the first stage:
Spoiler: click to toggle

Not to even mention how the layout is reused in Mimase Pass and Numata castle.

But anyway, I'm really looking forward on Kotaro's story. Can't wait to see what they have in store for him

That's great news that Nou is getting her assasination story back like in SW1, I loved Yoshimoto's story in SW2XL so this should be even better in this game :P

Well this time he has Masamune and Muneshige tagging along. Quite... odd choice of companions, though if his relationship with Masamune is anything like theirs in his lower path story in SW1, it'll be fun.

Not anymore~ *points to Kawagoe and Kanto Invasion*
Aya Gozen is the new Liao Hua. Not counting Osaka Siege though, I suppose.

I don't mind Yoshimoto's story being so kemari centric, I just would like for him to show a little more than just an obsession for kemari. I liked his line in WO2 (or somewhere...)

"I did not become a leader through kemari alone"

And it felt like they were finally making an effort to make him a little more legit. I mean even Zhang Jiao holds his position with more legitimacy.

Aw Yoshimoto, Masamune and Muneshige! Something about that is so touchingly funny. Koei's good at making characters seem genuine.

I hope Nohime has some interactions with Mitsuhide. They could touch on her 'love/tension' relationship with him. (Read something about their possible romance or somethin'. That and their SW2Empires conversation.

This, this, this, this. Cannot stress this enough.

And ha, looks like poor Muneshige and Masamune are going to suffer at the hands of KEMARI! Hilarious! Like Seraphil, I'm hoping for some fallback to his lower path in SW1XL... oh, good times.

Thanks for the translations, Seraphil. Now I'm really hoping this game gets an overseas release.
