In the new trailer, Noh appears to be really wanting to get Nobunaga. looks a little like Kanegasaki to me.

I hope Noh doesn't have Kanegasaki in her story since otherwise it will be too similiar to Nobunaga's story (Noh also Okehazama as starting stage and probably Honnouji as her fifth stage).

Ashitaka didn't do diddly. I did.
Amen to that... it'll be great to go through this thread without someone yelling 'WHERE'S THE ENGLISH RELEASE' for a little while longer.

Watched the trailer- looks interesting. Noh already seems to be an improvement over her SW2 self... that pleases me.

WHERE'S THE ENGLISH RELEASE!???!?? j/k, it'll come or it won't.

As for Noh? SOOOOOOO glad she's back to being the Noh we all love, she was easily my favorite female character in SW1.

I wonder will Koei add Kizugawa and the Rescue Mitsunari missions to Free Mode. Those two would be great to play. I mean they weren't on SW2 or SW3... IDK, I'm just a dreamer :XD

Kizugawa was available in Free Mode in SW2. It was Osaka Bay.

But I agree Mitsunari Rescue stage should also be available on Free Mode since it appears in many stories.

Those screenshots make me want the game more. I really like the one showing Kenshin and Aya performing a team-up musou attack.

Well the pictures are a pretty definite proof that there are no secret extra characters that the Koei has been sneaky about revealing. It shows the full roster in the Unlock Abilities page.

Oh yeah... I forgot that! Thanks! ^^

That and because there's characters that are on both sides unlike SW2 when there was only the pro-mitsunari side. I mean, at least let us play the pro side. Or heck, the anti.

PS3 graphics look gorgeous.

ANd the biggest point is HOW FRAKIN HARD IS IT TO CUT AND PASTE the SW3 Wii version of the texts? I mean really HOW HARD?? Thats all I was really saying, Im even fine with all Japanese for the new characters....but it would of been so easy to do! Its already THERE!!!!!!!!
Once you get into programming then you can keep that mindset :hehe:
Well, as much as I disagree with everything else he said, he's right that is wouldn't be much more than a copy-paste job. For the existing text, that is. And it really wouldn't be worth their time do so unless they were going to translate the rest, which wouldn't be worth while unless they were going to release it in the west anyway.

But I digress...

Can't say I have my hopes through the roof for this one, unlike past games. To be honest it seems like the most lackluster expansion we've ever received. Though at least it's on the PS3 this time. Here's hoping it'll be that way from the start for SW4.

I am assuming it will be the same as SW3. Maybe one of three new guys becoming initially available as well.

I don't know. I'm one of those people that really hated Mitsunari Rescue, so I didn't miss it in Free Mode at all. The stage I DID miss, however, was Kuzegawa (although to be fair the stage played almost exactly the same as Suruga-Sagami).

The PS3 graphics look super amazing :D

Can't wait for more info on Gracia's story. I was hoping her's would involve Magoichi again but...I'm pretty sure there was a screenshot of him being on the enemy side :D

After reading some previous posts, I can't help but ask, what does MOZ stand for? :3

MOZ= Musou Orochi Z, the PS3 Japan only HD port of Orochi 1 and 2 with 2 new characters that came out less than a year after Orochi 2 did. Despite the bellyaching of some people, it would have not been that proftable by Koei and they chose to not release it outside Japan.

Actually, Koei WANTED to release MOZ outside of Japan. It's just more of a thing that SCEA was not about to let Koei release what basically was a compilation pack of recently released games at full-price on the Western market place. Koei wasn't willing to take the price cut that SCEA had in mind, so those plans dried up. But the real proof that they were readying a localization shows through the port of MO2 for the PSP. It actually had the Z content largely translated and ready to go...

You know what, koei might actually port this overseas... Gundam Musou 3 was recently announced for the u.s and europe about a month after being released in Japan, so why not having the same done to SW3Z?

I'm thinking they will, probably space it between DW7 and DWG3 releases somewhere, i doubt the Z will be in the title though, probably just be released as Samurai Warriors 3.

They can charge full price for it since it would be considered new by not being on the PS3 before.

Oh god, the overseas release of Gundam Musou 3 is getting my hopes up for SW3:XL/Z's overseas release ;~~; C'mon, KOEI. Don't let us down!

Also, I'm a firm believer that there will not be any more new characters added to the roster. If there was, I think they'd definitely be added in the Samurai Warriors: Chronicles cast. (I wouldn't mind if KOEI proved me wrong though...>_> lol.)
