Nice joke on the front page, KoeiWarriors ;)
Even if it were true, I wouldn't mind. I have both the Wii-version of the normal game and 3Z, so I can play nonetheless.

But it is always better if a European/American version is realized. Let's hope! Ganbatte!

I have a confession. I am really a man, and I work for Koei. I can vouch for them when I say that it's been cancelled.

Sorry guys.

Yeah. I don't think this is a joke. Why would they put it on the bottom of the page too? That is suck an evil joke if it was.

Now I HAVE to buy the 3DS version. Not that I wasn't going to in the first place but still... damn!

I'm surprised that not even XL version is released on western markets. They never released Warriors Orochi Z but they released WO2 PSP which had Z's content. I was expecting them to do the same with SW3. Not release Z but XL since it has the same content.

Truly disappointing indeed . I'm actually more into SW than DW and can't help but to feel sad that my love for SW games only lasted for 5 games (SW, SWXL, SW2, SW2XL, SW2 Empires) :kurokan: . I could always import SW3Z of course, but not being able to follow the story and dialogue would ruin the experience for me.

crap, SW3 might be the last of the SW series :( , hopefully SWC isn't cancelled though and if SW3 is the last, then there won't be anymore Sengoku era games anymore, Sengoku Basara already ended with SB3

I'd be more inclined to believe this was an April Fools joke if the JP voice DLC wasn't coming out for DW7...like that Koei worker also predicted.

Also, to the dude above, this definitely won't be the last Samurai Warriors game. There's a lot left to do with the era for sure! ...Plus this is Koei, you really think they won't make more games just because? =P

That may be just a coincidence that it's been announced on April 1. So, it is perhaps not an April Fools Joke. If so, luckily I bought the Japanese version. I still find that Samurai Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends will be released outside of Japan. At least for up to 100% Samurai Warriors 3.

They do an April Fool's joke on this site every year...In fact, the only reason I checked the site today was just to see the joke. Its also funny seeing as how a few other fan pages I check out are all listing their respective games as canceled...lol. But this years WoW's Crabby gimmick was definitely the best.

It'd be funny if this turned out to actually be Koei's April Fools joke, not KoeiWarriors'.

Eh, considering the rubbish Western sales, I'm definitely inclined to think it's not an April Fool's Joke. Besides, last I checked, April 1 is the start of the fiscal year for Japan and the east, isn't it? So important news is likely to be released then- wasn't that when they officially announced the Koei Tecmo merger?

Regardless, this is why I have Play-Asia. Let's hope there's still some in stock.

Edit: And bought. Here's hoping it isn't an April Fool's Joke...

It wasn't good to release it out on the wii in the first place.
And the eng voice acting sucks, Samurai Warriors 2 IS THE BEST. And then they ruined it. >_>

I almost want to say "I told you so", but who can be sure that it's completely the Wii's fault?

What helped to kill the hype/sales was the gap between the EU release date and the NA release date, not the only reason but I know I had lost a lot of interest between that time.

All for a feature that I don't even use (online). Seriously outside of Brawl and Animal Crossing, what games on the Wii have a successful following online? Does Call of Duty count?

I don't get why Wii is hated so much, it's been sold more than the PS3 and the X-Box in Japan, it's understandable that it's the graphics that are hated but, hating the entire console? at least it's not almost nothing but shooter games like the X-Box and it also lasts a lot longer than any other console

The Wii itself isn't a bad system, but it really wasn't the best system for SW3 to be exclusive to as far as the targeted audience goes. The demographics for most SW fans were the PS2 and xb360. To randomly change it to the console that didn't really support the series before probably hurt sales in America and Europe the most.

Not to say the Wii is a bad console, but just when most of your targeted fans have a 360 or moved on to a PS3, putting it on a console that neither one may have seems like a bad idea.

Sengoku Basara 3 had the right idea.

Sengoku BASARA is not over. Hell no.

SW....could be. I would be sad, but the new voice acting kind of ruined SW3 for me. I loved SW2, was really dissapointed with SW3.
