Well, good thing it turned out to be April Fool joke. Still, I have my doubts for Z but I can see some light for XL. |

i've been a huge fan myself...and im not saying that SW2 was a bad game to play it was fun, but the VA was better in the first one and in SW3 its actually not bad in my opinion...and the graphics arent great but they're not bad either...they look fine to me....not saying that im not going to hold out of SW3Z for PS3 because Im just a ps3 fangirl but still...lol and if its just going to be SW3XL thats comming over seas than i guess ill have to steal my Wii back from my mother

So it was a joke.. Well okay - I can take one, even I don't find it that funny. At least I can resurrect what died of my hope again now. xD The remaining possibility of SW3 Z or/and XL being released outside of Japan, and April Fools' Day being over for another year.. two good reasons to be happy, I suppose!

It would take at least that Samurai Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends is released outside of Japan. |

I highly doubt that will happen given the sales of the Wii version overseas and even in Japan. If you can't wait for the official announcement (probably won't be one) then I definitely suggest getting the import for SW3Z since XL is region locked. I don't think they are going to localize this since they're already working on DWG3 for the summer and probably other titles. We'll just have to wait and see. |

You do know the best lies are the ones that have a grain of truth to them. The fact of the matter is the possibility is still quite real. |

So it did end up a joke after all, good to know. I gotta say though, leaving it up on the site without an update until the morning of April 2nd was a nice touch. |

Isn't that like What the rest of my post was about? Besides, no more SW games is a steep and broad assumption, imho. |

Well now the pressure on Koei is on now because if this April Fool think comes true then I guess it was right which would be bogus then. HAha. |

Yeah, I'm waiting at least another month before I order SWZ. I crave SW3 on the PS3, even though I own the NA Wii version. Only holding out to support NA sales in case we do get an overseas release. |

I will be extremely disappointed if we don't get this game. For christ sake, the last time I played a Samurai Warriors game was on the PS2! That was ages ago! |

It gets on my nerves when koei doesn't release games like these overseas. Its like they don't care about us too much (but then again its the stupid united states fault...) |

Hey, for those who've played the game, can anyone tell me where these new Z/XL tracks play in the game? I'm rather curious. |

I don't understand why SW3 is not available on the PS3. But I hope it becomes available because I will definitely buy it! |

It wasn't available for the PS3 because KOEI thought that shifting the game to the Wii console (even thogh the controls were the same) would bring in more customers. But no, because it barely managed to sell any copies worldwide. At least now there is a PS3 version, thank god. |

Yhep. A PS3 version that we have YET to hear about for release outside of Japan. And knowing how much Koei is crapped upon here, I will not be surprised at all if that April Fool's Day Joke is actual reality. |

Wouldn't surprise me, and I honestly couldn't blame KoeiTecmo for their decision. Even though people would actually BUY this game (and for those who got the Wii version, XL), the poor sales SW3 had in the first place isn't much of an encouragement. Sure, they'd get some bites, but probably not enough to have to pay the voice actors, the localization department and various other groups that would need to get involved. And while people think that last paragraph was too "dramatic", in this day and age and THIS economy, I wouldn't be so quick to pass it off. While I'll admit that SW1 and SW2 were probably superior games to their respected DW counterparts, they never really did well in the West as their counterparts. It will ALWAYS be viewed as "DW, just set in Japan". Sad, but true. |

From our perspective, most would definitely agree that SW was better then DW, but then again that's only because we have yet to see SW take that next-gen step that DW did with 6. And yes, SW is pretty much written off as "DW in Japan". Bladestorm (DW in Europe) and Gundam (Herpderp Dynasty Warriors Gundam) fall under the same rut. I'm so pessimistic right now, I'm even tempted to write off SW4 a no show for the west either. |

This! Let's just forget SW3Z. It feels a bit dated compared to DW7 (with the rather boring individual story system). Note that it's just my opinion, you can disagree with it (and I'm sure most will do anyway). How about let's start speculation for Samurai Warriors 4!
