We better get it in the U.S.
I'm sick of the lack of SW love. I personally would prefer it over DW if it had nearly as many characters.
i agree with u the characters in SW are better :D they better release it in the US but wat im worried about is that it is going to be the same as dynasty warriors 7 special which got released on the psp version only in japan :/
I hope not because why does Japan need/want it on every system? lol Wii, PS3, and PSP? And none of them make it overseas... tsk tsk

Japan I believe REALLY loves their portables. And since the Vita isn't out yet, I guess they need to squeeze every last ounce of usability with the PSP.

I don't know how it is in the US, but I can say that in my country of residence, there are more PSP owners than console owners. Portables are not only cheaper, they're, well, portable. Plus in the case of the PSP, it has multiple functions.

As for why they won't bring it overseas, eh, after the SW3 Wii debacle I guess Koei has decided to call it quits. Which is odd considering Chronicles on the 3DS (Which I'm playing and LOVING so far).

The same reason every company makes sudden late decisions.

Ummm yeah PSP's aren't very popular over here. DS def is/was. We shall see about the Vita tho because it def has a lot of people intrigued.

Website's gone live. http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/sengoku3/zsp/index.htm

Should this be a separate topic? I don't know. It looks like theres a pre-order bonus of downloadable costumes for Mitsunari, Kiyomasa, and Masanori.

Well at least I highly doubt they'll make the mistake of making a Warriors game exclusive to Nintendo again

Wii U will probably get a port of the next game, but it sure won't get the only version.

The chances of any SW3 related game receiving a NA port are slowly sinking.

Since SW3's sales did so badly in the US, Koei lost hope and stop releasing any SW3 games here. Although the sales did what most of us expect since it was Wii exclusive, many never assumed that it would affect all the games overall.

I'm glad that the PSP is still getting some games left. Koei does love their ports afterall. :P

Can anybody give me a definate answer if there are any plans to release SW3Z and WO3 in Europe?

I have read a lot of conflicting news and frankly I don't know what to do. If there is no release planned I'll import but there are I'll wait for an EU release.

There are, unfortunately, absolutely no plans to release SW3Z overseas. It's dead, Jim.

There's been no official confirmation, nor date, for any kind of western release of Warriors Orochi 3. Just hints.

There's no hope for SW3Z of being released anywhere.

But there are very high chances of WO3 being given an overseas release. If we're lucky, and if the sales of WO3 prove to be strong, hopefully Koei could reconsider releasing the other SW3 titles overseas.

That's just me.

The closest thing we'll get to SW3Z/3XL is Chronicles on the 3DS, since that includes Aya, Masanori, Gracia, the new music, and some of the new XL stages.

Plus, IMO Chronicles is a much better made game. It's worth Z/3XL not coming here.

The game I'm a bit more bitter about is SW3 Empires not coming here.

The SS are horrible, Im imagining a DW6:Special lag problems here :D. Would have been so much better if they ported this game on VITA along with WO3 :hehe:

The thing is, it's on the 3DS. Not on PS3/360. I'd rather have a SW3 game on those two than 3DS (and Wii, but let's not get into that).

Well, it's not really a big deal anyway. Just hoping SW4 revives the SW franchise in the west (and sort of Warriors games in general). Though, with a fan-base that dislikes any sort of changes and evolution, it's not going to happen anytime soon, sadly.

Thanks guys for clearing this up for me. It's a shame that there is no SW game for PS3, but at least there is some hope for WO3.

Can anybody give me some advice on imports. I never really imported anything before but I always enjoyed SW games so I want to give SW3Z a shot. I think the best place to get one is on ebay (though do correct me here if I'm wrong).

My main concern is that if it's in an Asian language I will have trouble navigating the menus and completing the missions. Missing on the cut scenes will be a shame but something I can live with but failing to understand what needs to be done worries me.

I got my SW3Z copy from ebay. The treasure box one BTW.

It'll definitely be in Japanese, but there are some parts of the menu that are in English like (Free mode, Story Mode). I have the Wii version so it acts like a guide for me, or instance, what's coming up next, where to go afterwards, who do I need to defeat. It's a matter of paying close attention.

Ebay is one possibility; I sometimes get my imports from Play-Asia.com, and I believe there are a few other good import gaming stores out there that you can look at. You may want to price check between them before ordering from one (sometimes I find better deals on ebay, sometimes I find them on Play-Asia).

If you've played SW3 on the Wii, navigating the menus shouldn't give you much trouble. A lot of the missions felt pretty intuitive to me simply from playing on Wii/the map showing you where to go, putting the TARGET marker over the relevant officers' heads, et cetera; in addition to that, I believe there is a pretty decent guide on gamefaqs.com that outlines the missions for each stage to help you get them all even if you don't read Japanese, and that has a guide to translating the weapon/armor stuff as well, so you can still figure out an equipment setup that fits your needs.

Would you believe this is attractive enough to import? Is there still CAW and the coloring system in this?

Thanks guys, I'll look for some guides on the net and will import it. I can always get it on the Wii but I really don't enjoy playing on it. I only have the first SW on it and it wasn't really SW if you know what I mean.

In the PSP version or the PS3 version of SW3Z?

For the PS3, yes CAW and the colouring system is still in it. I would assume the same can be said for the PSP version but there's no official confirmation if anything is being added or removed.

Yes I mean the PSP version. By the way, I believe I'll sell my PSP and opt for the Vita, saying this how would I be able to import SW3Z for the PSP on the Vita? (Sorry about the redundant repetitiveness, semantics :meantongue: )
