I hope it's true if not oh well DW7 comes out in March anyway. Still I would prefer they include the Empires mode (and CAW) with the original game. That would be awesome.
yeah that would be awesome

I think they going to do'it like last year with warriors orochi z for ps3 ..
Maybe they won't release SW3Z for NA or EU Versions ..
But let's Just hope they do release for NA/EU :/

And wow .. It's good to Gracia back .. she looks better ..}
And great idea that they make Aya & Masanori Playable .. }

And does Z mean that Sw3 & Sw3XL mixed up ?! .. if so .. it's gonna be Great :) :)

Yes, just to clarify, SW3Z is basically the original Wii SW3 (minus the Nintendo property Musrasame castle), along with new features. The Wii in turn would get these new features as SW3XL.

If this is released in the EU, please, not downloadable... my wii doesn't have an internet connection... *offers prayer to Koei Gods*
I'm sure you won't have to worry about it being downloadable. It would make more sense, for it to be in disc format, so you may be able to effectively use the Fusion Feature, that allows you to play the Original Game, with the Xtreme Legends Content. :)

I may have something against Goemon, but I think he's been cut for long... Maybe he should come back.

Other than that, nothing else matters, I'm already content with Gracia's return. :)

I don't know about everyone else but I'm getting XL and Z, even if they are the same game. :hehe: I'm a SW fanatic and I don't plan on stopping now.

I'm kinda hoping there's gonna be maybe one or two new characters. I think the Tokugawa deserve more LOYAL retainers in this game besides Tadakatsu, Hanzo and Ina (Masamune's a bit loyal I guess and Kanbei's....Kanbei...). But seriously, they're like the only 3 standing tall for Tokugawa. Naomasa Li and maybe Hidetada Tokugawa could fix that.

Seriously, the Oda and Toyotomi has so many retainers on this game compared to Ieyasu.

Or another female character. As long as she's a little mature. We've got enough perky girls. (I'm actually looking forward to a female genius).

EDIT: Forgot to add Hanzo as a loyal Tokugawa retainer)

If there should be a new female character, I will like whether Maeda Matsu or Mochizuki Chiyome.

Mochizuki Chiyome sounds like a good idea. She could be our first dark and evil ninja girl. (Take that Kotaro!)

I actually prefer Yodo or Okatsu to Matsu considering Toshiie's role in this series. Her only contribution seems like it'd be her skills but her story would probably clone Toshiie. Don't get me wrong though. Matsu's a kickass girl and that's always great. (I honestly want to see a female for Masamune's story, whether it's his mom or his wife considering they both kinda sent him for a loop.)

That's how I think. A cold ninja who never smiles, or very rarely speaks in an explicit manner.

Storywise, I pray to high heavens that the other new stories will be just as good. SW3 certainly had some of the best stories by Koei I've seen a while.

Especially something for No. GOOD GOD, her SW2 story was just atrocious.

Hopefully she'd have the skills to send Hanzo and Kotaro into a panic too.

Well this a great new :D , but as allways for Wii and PS3 users :hmmm: , sorry if i sound repetitive and boring, but......and XBOX 360??? :uh: .

So after some years waiting for a SW3 port and again Xbox users are ignored :hmmm: , hope they confirmed soon a Xbox version too like in DW7.

No, cuz 360 blows in sales in Japan.

And SWZ will prolly not go outside of japan. SO lets hope for at least english option or subtitles since they have most of the english doen anyway from SW3

I wonder what they'll do for Okuni's story this time since there's no Goemon and it doesn't look like he's coming back, I think they might put her with Keiji and have her dancing around again,
I really hope this comes to EU so I can play as hers and Gracia's story :)

How about Torii Mototada? I much rather see him than Naomasa, plus he would add an entire new level that nobody else ever could (It would be weird if the Western army were facing an army of generics for such an important battle, so without him it would likely never get added), plus the guy was a total bamf, he took on the entire western army with, what was it, 20 or less soldiers? AND he had a limp! He went down like a badass. Naomasa just kinda got sick and gave up. I dunno, I've always felt Mototada would be the way more interesting inclusion, though I rarely see people mention him.

Nobuyuki would also be a great add to the Tokugawa, More Sanada/Tokugawa dynamics, plus add some more depth to Ina and Yukimura's friendship.

Though I don't think anyone will be added as a full fledge new character, I'm thinking returning people (Musashi and Kojiro maybe) and the rest will be NPC.

One thing I'm concerned: it's been 3 games, and the capital has zero attention.

*coughamiyoshirepcough*

And maybe give Shingen a real retainer.

Exactly. I've been looking for people who would also like to have Mototada as playable characters. However sadly most mention Naomasa when it comes to adding a new Tokugawa general. There are several reasons why Mototada should be playable before Naomasa should:
1) Mototada was in the Tokugawa since the very beginning (Okehazama), unlike Naomasa who wasn't even born yet.
2) Siege of Fushimi would become much more interesting. Playing Mototada on the defending side would be epic. He fought till the very end and his selfless sacrifice became later a great example of samurai loyalty and honor.
3) He was apparently lifelong friends with Ieyasu, and the latter was moved to tears when heard of Mototada's death.

For some reason I think he should fight with fists (similiar to Sengoku Basara's Ieyasu).

But yeah, this was kinda off topic. Looking forward for the new stories!

See, I'm confused, because Koei says they cater to the fans, and yet a huge majority of sengoku musou fans loved Musashi and Kojiro, and yet they are not back?

Yes, I know, blah blah, they're not vital to the Sengoku era or any particular daimyo in the main period, but still, they were great characters and fan as hell to use.

I'm not gonna get my hopes way up, but I think everyone's jumping the gun a bit thinking that all 7 of the FMO chars are getting stories. Yes, the math adds up, but nowhere did it say that those three are the only new additions to SW3XL/Z. I think Koei may be holding back a surprise and we get another character or two, and they get a story and poor Okuni gets robbed a story again xD

All this being said, I'm happy it'll be coming out in HD. I will definitely buy it on the PS3 even though I have it on the Wii. if it's not localized, I will definitely import it. Remember, PS3 is region free for PS3 games. :)

Lets Hope the expand Online play, PLEASE!

Really? Are you sure? Did you read the cards that the Japanese Fans sent in? Did they all say "We love Musashi and Kojiro?"

Remember, the Japanese Fans are the only fans that matter to Koei as long as they are making the games profitable and the West isn't. Just because we like those characters doesn't mean that they were requested to reappear in Japan.

Being on the PS3 now, it would be cool if they opened the game up to DLC. The Wii has certain restrictions when it comes to DLC, Tatsunoko vs Capcom could have had more character and that never happened.

Being on PS3 now, would be awesome of they threw us some older characters, Goemon, Musashi, Kojiro, and simply made them DLC. Wouldn't have to do much other than clean the models and add an Ultimate Musou. As well as extra music tracks from SW1 and SW2?

Maybe too much wishful thinking?

qyuuiestion:

do you guys think the CAW Mode will get any thing new?

i think i read somewhere, i forget where, that the CAW was going to get 3 new CAW Exclusive Weapon sets, i really hope Masemune's SW1 move set is available for use, that would be nice... but unlikely

also, do you think this time characters will get actual Alt costumes?

: )

it would be intresting if they did, also it would be cool if you could have color alts of their default and their second alt, and re-color them how ever you want, like how they did in SW3.

new costume parts for the CAW would be nice, maybe bring back all the costumes from past SW CAW Modes?
