yoshihiro's PI,i wish we can use it on everyone so the game will feel more like DMC's "heaven or hell" mode............ most of the character's PI are boring as hell though,like motochika's,and some is virtually useless thanks to the new 5 skill system,namely masamune's PI(since you can easily activate WD/6S at any moment now AND can have a lot of other skills with you too) |

Magoichi's for unlimited brokenness. Because she wasn't strong enough already! Bur Wodash is right, most are pretty useless...they should add more unique stuff like Yoshihiro's or Tsuruhime's, imho...especially now they take 4 spots... |

I still haven't unlocked any full set of PIs (absurd method to "artificially add replayability, but oh well...) but judging solely by utility, I'd vote Yoshitsugu's that, I think, makes a +3 Hit to locked-on enemies. Motonari's seems quite useful too. For coolness factor, perhaps Mitsunari's that activates 'Reverence' infinitely. My vote goes to Mitsunari. The point of PIs should really be just the novelty effect. (Kennyo and Ujimasa strongly disagree) On complete opposites, Oichi's is just downright useless and reveals quite the lazyness in terms of creativity. It should have been the Naginata moveset!  But this whole "4 spots" business doesn't bode well in favor of any PI... |

again,yoshihiro's PI says hello,since you & the enemy die in 1 hit anyways its practically useless to fill the remaining slot with HP attack,or def boost,and you don't even need to worry about which weapon to equip it to,since their attack power would not matter |

wodash, Yes, I am aware of Oni Shimazu's HoH Mode. Still ruins the capacity to take other items, namely luck based ones or that 4 set that gives Great Hatena Boxes, though. Honestly, I found it to be a crummy gimmick. Has it's purposes of course, namely for time based objectives, I imagine. Ultimately I agree with you - it should be one item made available for everyone. would be definitely useful for hunting down weapons. Perhaps they'll revamp the item list in the expansion, like they did in the prequel. Add new ones and perhaps narrow down the PIs to one slot. Would definitely like to see some items like Idaten's Scroll, Gods' Domain or the Mirror of Transforming Might make a much needed return. |
