(this will be the third time I've mentioned it today)

The Shin Megami Tensei series.... I can honestly say I enjoyed this game more than any Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy those games it's just they can't compete with the style, story or music that is in the Persona series.

I also think the critics should give the DW/SW games more of a chance.

Right now I have on my list:
Blood Will Tell
Lol that game was an awful experience for me. I'll start laughing uncontrollably when anyone opens their mouth in that game.
My list:

Way of the Samurai
The Bouncer
Gekido
Ever Grace (Maybe?)
Kinetica
Gungrave

Some of these aren't bad. They were worth playing. Nonetheless enjoyable even if just for one try.

Vagrant Story
Definatly overshadowed by it's Final Fantasy Series (and for its time, an asston load better).

Persona 4
While it recieved critical acclaim from fans and critics alike, it's just overshadowed by its predecessor, Persona 3: FES. Which is a shame, it's far better.

40 Winks
Overshadowed by PS1 platformers like Crash, Spyro, and Gex, but managed to be more enjoyable than all 3 due to its darker storyline, for a Child's platformer, this scared me.

Legend of Dragoon is a big one, I came up with so many ideas on how they could make it better in the sequel but it never happened.

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, no one bought this game when it came out which is a shame cause it was just a dream to play and too look at. If it were ported as it was at the time it came out I think the graphics would still hold up today.

And for anyone who said Gungrave: I love you all

Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi
The reviewers screwed it over, but the players loved it. I think it finished behind SF and ahead of Tekken in the fighting game category in most games that year.

How can you beat remaking your own lightsaber fight between Luke and Vader??
Oh my god, I tottally forgot about this game

For some reason I think it's going to get a PSN release. I'd say that Mara Jade was my favourite character out of them all even though I preferred Soul Blade

*EDIT* Nah, man, I think Tekkens so much better (I'd say it was better than SF in my opinion), and was Mara Jade even a playable character aha?

The Getaway!! I remember seeing the IGN review for it (i think it's on youtube somewhere) and wanting to punch the reviewers lights out. It's one of the best sandbox style shooters out there with a gripping story to boot, but the reviewer just dribbled on about how it was to realistic to be any good, then started going on how it wasn't realistic enough. Fool!! :realangry:

^ Haha I liked The Getaway, got my dad to complete it so I could just free roam xD (I was about 11/12)

Anyway~

Cel Damage Overdrive. It has low ratings and really isn't very popular, the graphics are not all that and are quite cartoony. But this game was so fun on multiplayer (:
Even on single player it was fun to complete, probably because it was so simple. Just beat up other players cars with a giant base ball bat that sits on the front of your car, a shredder, rocket launcher. The list goes on x)

Is the Bloody Roar series considered underrated?

Other than that, I'd say Genji series, Viewtiful Joe series, Lunar series, Tenchu series, and Legaia series.

I would definitely say YES!!! And the reason I say that, is because it came out, around the time the Street Fighter Series was an Acrade Hit! Still, those games were awesome, but no one really gave it any attention, because of the other fighting games that were out, which appealed to everyone to be deemed better than the Bloody Roar Series.

Thanks for the help... I think most Bloody Roar fans are Spanish-speaking people. Met some on YouTube... There are hardly even people who aren't from Spanish-speaking countries who like it, just me and my sweet Yoshi.

And if not Bloody Roar, I'd prefer Street Fighter over Tekken.

It's not a problem at all. I am from the United States, and I absolutely LOVE the Bloody Roar Series. I still play the first one as we speak. I do own the entire series:

Bloody Roar One
Bloody Roar Two
Bloody Roar Three
Bloody Roar Four
Bloody Roar Extreme
Bloody Roar Primary Fury.

^_^ There all awesome! And I to prefer Street Fighter over Tekken. But I'm playing both of them anyway for training purposes for Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter. ^_^

I might as well mention my 5th grade obsession - Milon's Secret Castle.

Yes, it's Nintendo hard. Yes, it's full of terrible translations and arcane secrets. Yes, I have seen the Angry Nintendo Nerd's rant on it. I also had to call Hudson Soft to get one final clue that I never figured out myself.

But the mechanics are reasonable, the rooms are fun to explore, and you can work your way through with unlimited continues and farming health from enemies. The game has a unique psychedelic charm with addictive music and some nifty hidden details. Seven music boxes are scattered throughout the castle. Each takes you into a bonus round, adding another instrument to the song played. I still remember the joy of finding the last box and hearing the full arrangement for the first time. Skip ahead to 10:10 of this speed run, and trust me that it was impressive back in the day. :D

Just making sure... :P Well it's in the list to. And that one was great as well. As far as what my favorite ones are from the series? I'd have to say Bloody Roar One, and Bloody Roar Primal Fury. ^_^

Bloody Roar One: Come on, how can you not respect the first one of the series, that started it all? :P

Bloody Roar Primal Fury: Xion and Cronos For The Win!!! And the specials were just absolutely sick! And! Everyone had a hidden one death kill special. I only knew Cronos' and Longs' though. :XD

My god.... Bloody Roar Plus Difficulty Eight Plus Uriko Equaled Alot of time taken away from me. Man.... I can't count how many re-trys, (Back in the day) that it took me, before I was able to best her. She sure loved to abuse that One-Handed, (I'm going to throw you Five-Hundred Miles to the South) throw. That was just plain ridiculous right there. :XD Still, fun times indeed. I think.... :XD

Trust me I know. That was a Sin on how cheap and what seemed to be broken she was. Still, I guess the challenge alone, is what made it very fun and enjoyable. :XD

I'm rather inclined to say that anything DW related is considered underrated itself, considering that one topic put it nicely that the DW games are considered cult games outside of Japan.

I think you ment to say that anything Koei related can basically be dubbed as underrated. Which of course would be due to the critics and such pompus fools such as X-Play, IGN, Gamespot, and any others that I may have missed, or just simply don't care for them because they tend to give lack-luster reasons why anything made by Koei simply sucks.

But all in all, I agree with you.
