Yoooouuuuuuuu ? Ohhhhhh nooooooo. No way. I'm not going to discuss with you. I know where you stand. It's like,........what did they say.........oh yes, running against a wall again and again .OK, let's try to share opinions (not discuss) in normal way. You will not have problems with me. I'm a good-morale-guy (in the beginning), who must not have the last word and knows, what the word "admit" means. But be fair too. Since i know, that you are a bit stubborn (I hate Liu Shan, ever) and a BIG Wen Yang-fan. First, answer me. Whom do you want in the Jin-faction too? Besides Wen Yang. And maybe even in DW8/9 next time. Jin has 9 characters by now. The other 3 kingdoms has about 15 and more characters, right? That would mean, Jin needs at least 6-7 (or even more, since the other 3 kingdoms will get every game new characters too) potential characters. I have already 6 Jin characters in my wishlist, which i've informed myself on wiki and elsewhere. I've read their stories, and they sounded good to me. Now, can you tell me further possible characters, which i don't know already? I will search their stories. And when their stories sound well, i will admit to you, that they would be good adds too. By the way, i haven't competed Guanqiu Jian with Wen Yang. Of course not. Wen Yang would be my first choice for Jin too. But i think, you could've mentioned the good parts too, and not seeing more the negative aspects in that person. I mean good explanation like this: 1) Favored by Cao Rui. That's already a good sign. 2) Lead an attack against Gongsun Yuan. Attack was aborted, but by flood. There were nothing he could do against natural disasters. 3) The following year, Guanqiu and Sima Yi led another campaign against Gongsun and they conquered Liaodong 4) In recognition of his efforts during the campaign, Cao Rui granted Guanqiu the title of "Marquis of Anyi". 5) In 244, Guanqiu led a punitive expedition to Goguryeo, leading to the Goguryeo-Wei Wars. He defeated the Goguryeo army led by King Dongcheon near the Tongjia River and then occupied the capital Hwando. 6) During the follow-up campaign in the next year, he occupied the capital again and forced Dongcheon to flee southeast. A subsection of the army reached the eastern coast of the peninsula and another reached northern Manchuria, but soon retreated. 7) In commemoration of the victory, a stone carving was raised during the campaign. A piece of the monument was discovered in 1905. It is known as "Stele of Guanqiu Jian's inscribed achievements" (I like that part very much). 8) In 255, Guanqiu and Wen Qin started a rebellion in Shouchun against the regent Sima Shi, who seized control of Cao Wei's state power. Some scholars consider that he rebelled because he remained loyal to the Cao Wei royal family and was displeased with the Sima clan usurping power. Other sources tell that he was close to Xiahou Xuan, who was executed by Sima Shi, so he feared for his life after learning of Xiahou's death. Guanqiu's rebellion was eventually suppressed by Sima Shi and most of his family members were killed, while the surviving ones fled to Eastern Wu. OK, i have copied the most from Wiki. I just wanted to honor him a bit with that. I think, there are enough good points, to make him an possible Jin add in the future. And i say again: "He is ONE OF THE POSSIBLE ADDS for Jin. Not THE one. I would like to see him added in a later game. And again, added AFTER THE MORE IMPORTANT ones (like Wen Yang). And Sazuke, about point 8, Wen Yang's bio in Wiki says: "Wen Yang alone faced off against many troops that were under Sima Shi during Wen Yang's ASSISTANCE of the rebel leader Guanqiu Jian." I didn't know, that they fought together. Coooooool. That means, there are not only 2-3 interesting characters in that rebellion. |

Haha that's quite funny Anyway, my reviews on the characters: Dong Zhuo - Good to see it's based on the DW6 design, I liked it! Zhang He - Looks okay, the DW6 went a bit overboard. Liu Chan - Looks quite funny, something what I expected Liu Bei - I may be the only one but I preferred the DW6 costume Zhuge Liang - Ok, since I never really cared for him Xiao Qiao - Same as above... Xiahou Ba - Well, he was already seen so...

360 weapons ? Let's do some math : Koei said we were gonna have a number of characters included between 60 and 69. Let's assume everyone gets his own weapons. Problem : 69 x 5 (assuming fifth weapons are back, otherwise I cannot see how they'd be able to come close to 360) = 345, not 360, and we will NOT have 69 characters anyway. So what ? 60 x 6 = 360. And that's the only way to get 360 weapons. Then will we have 60 characters with 6 weapons (by weapons I mean weapon levels) each ? Seems unrealistical. Therefore, the 360 weapons feature is... strange. |

I don't really care if Koei is being predictable. That means that they're actually listening to the fans! As long as the characters are designed well, have good stories, movesets, then I'm happy with whoever they add! |

I suspect that we are reluctant to really appreciate what KOEI did. Some will continue to complain until the game's release, and complain again and again the game in their hands.

I think it may be 4 specific weapons for every character, along with a few basic generic weapons in each class. Seems like the most logical system. |

i see people are thinking that Guan Suo and Bu Furen are still going to be in the game, i personally don't believe it since 3 characters were pretty obvious Jia Xu: after Sima Yi was put into Jin Wei needed someone to replace him and Guo Jia and Jia Xu were the 2 best options with Jia Xu having the highest chance of being in Xiahou Ba: the japanese site stated another Xiahou was being added to the game and with Jin in the game and from various screen shots and the fact Ba defected against the Simas made him a sure fire choice (unless they planned on adding Xiahou En )Liu Chan: again another very obvious choice with the game being Jin Vs Shu Liu Chan had more chances of being added over the likes of Liao Hua and Wang Ping and it'll give the fall of Shu a much better story. Now if i had posted up a fake rumor list you'd probably all start assuming it was real, so the list had 3 correct characters not all rumor lists are true and this should be treated like all rumors and that is 'It's Just A Rumor' nothing is solid concrete, so what i'm saying is don't jump to any conclusions about anything with Guan Suo and Bu Furen. I needed to get that off my chest and nothing is aimed at anyone the point of the post is to not jump to conclusions |

I think not. I do not see why some weapons could be "split". |

not 'split' just equip two at the same time. but like only for one handed weapoms? so NOT like two handcannons or two harps, but two raipers and two maces? |

I don't think you're able to equip two separate weapons in each hand. If this was the case, we'd know about that by now, don't you think?

By two weapons I think they mean two of the same single-handed weapons, not two different ones.

You'll just have to wait & see when the screenshots appear either on Famitsu today, or when the website updates tomorrow. Then that will show exactly what Xiao Qiao has. @Mizunoryu That movie is Rush Hour 3, with Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker ^^ Edited by TrevorxTravesty, Wed Jan 19, 2011 7:41 pm.

It interests me how people are seeing so many different things with the picture of Liu Shan. I have seen Shan haters celebrate as he looks to be stupid, I have seen pro or meh Shan people relieved that Shan doesn't look stupid or a joke. Some like the fur coat, some don't, some see a nervous man, others a confident one. Or as you say, he looks innocent whereas I see someone who looks like he might be confident with the ladies.
Personally, I don't. He wasn't a cruel man by all accounts, his interests (sightseeing, woman, music) seem very human and his failings (mostly, being lazy) seem very human. I like that about him. As for why people hate him? Joetri10 touches on it, the image is of Shan bringing Shu down. Shu is popular, the values the novel/cultural Liu Bei and others like Zhuge Liang represent, it touches a cord with people. Naturally, the guy who brings that down internally is not going to be celebrated through the streets. Jiang Wei is absolved because he is deemed to have died for the cause so his blood washes away his failings to make him a noble hero, it's a brilliant part of the novel actually. The reason Shan gets it more then his advisers Huang Hao and, unfairly, the utterly misunderstood Qiao Zhao, is who he was father was. Liu Bei the great founder and hero, is not a nice comparison to face and people bemoan the loss of his father's dream at Shan's hands. |
