I think Zuo Ci may be getting reserved for Warriors Orochi, a la Fu Xi and Nu Wa.
Like Lu-Jin said, he doesn't have any real place in the story, with kingdom mode now being used, and now he can't continually p*** Cao Cao off.

If he is in DW7 however, I will be happy, since he's one of my favourite characters...god, his moveset was so broken.

If Pang De is really deleted, he will surely return in Dynasty Warriors 8 alongside of Yu Jin, which is in a sense quite understandable. Really, I am very pleased with the cast of characters from Wei. It has always been good to me, and he is now more with Cai Wen Ji and Jia Xu.

I agree with this. Right now, Pang De...lacks something. Having Yu Jin at Fan really would add flavor to Pang De's last hurrah, and also create more character drama with Yu Jin for his own sake. While Pang De's relation with Ma Chao is cool and all, its only the start of his story...after Tong Gate Pang De doesn't really do anything but die. Why not have a multiple character angle to his death to increase the drama?

If I'm not wrong, this DW7 it's going to be the last of DW series Right?

In terms of people saying Wei's not getting enough attention, you're just not looking at it the right way. Literally every add Koei made for Jin were technically Wei characters. Not one of those guys saw Jin's creation.

Think of Jin as being Wei. 100% Wei, only difference is it's run by the Sima clan and not the Cao clan. Deng Ai was one of Wei's finest late generals, same with Guo Huai and Zhong Hui. Sima Yi was Wei's best strategist, and will remain so in Wei's story. It just gives us another view on Wei, that being when the Sima Clan got power and started to take over.

Even Sima Zhao is technically Wei, considering his son is the one who founded Jin after Sima Zhao was dead.

Also add in that some of these Shu characters are built for fights with Jin and not Wei. Jiang Wei, Liu Shan.....maybe even Guo FREAKIN Suo.

It's not like Yu Jin needs Pang De to be a complete character. He has enough battles and events in is almost-three decade career, a personality, and relationships in all three kingdoms.

Really? That's the first time I heard about that. I don't recall any official sources say anything about DW7 being the last DW game.

Edit: I guess I'm not the only one then :hehe:

Are you talking about Koei roster-wise or historic/novel-wise? In terms of history and the novel, that's not true, because Shu never fought Jin, only Wei. Wei conquered Shu in 263 and Jin was founded a few years later.

However, if you're talking about Deng Ai and Zhong Hui fighting Shu in DW7, then yes, Shu will fight Jin.

I don't know if this has been bought up yet but i've noticed something different about the enemy general life bars in the top left hand corner of the screen.

The enemy generals seem to have really really long life bars yet when they are killed in the battle the life has not depleted. It has only gone down a tiny bit. This is noticible when Xiahou Dun is fighting and Wang Yuanji. When Dun is fighting all the soldiers around him are dead yet the enemy generals life bar has only depleated a bit. Unless he's not dead?

Can someone explain this to me? I can't read japanese so i'm not sure if its the generals life bar or overall troops?

You know if they're bridging the timeline from Wei to the creation of Jin then I'm suprised they didn't add Cao Rui in who was a bit of an extravagant character during his life.
It didn't go from Cao Cao to Cao Pi to Jin you know.

They probably are not finished with this part of the game.

Zhao Yun's KO count also didn't increase when he used his musou or C4 in the new trailer, although I'm sure some small pawns would have dided from those attacks.

It didn't go from Cao Rui to Jin either; there were two more Wei emperors after Cao Rui, and it would be a waste to add them all.

YES THATS IT. Thats the name I couldn't remember. Cao Rui. He played a hugee part in this timeline.. So I hope we see him :) As for that other guy who said including past characters except Zuo Ci we get 61. I was kinda thinking that the final would be like 65 as.. well we need Cao Rui I mean look we got Liu Chan :)

Wouldn't Cao Huan be a better add? I mean, last Wei emperor that gets owned by Jin. 'Nuff said. :sly:

And I do agree with Zuo Ci becoming an Orochi character, he could totally pull off being a mystic. Probaby a father-like figure to Nu Wa, Fu Xi, and Taigong Wang.
Pang De being cut(if rumors are true.) doesn't REALLY bother me.
Yes I would love him to be back in the game, but it could be worse. :hmmm:
