Liu Chan, Guan Suo, and some no-name wife? Man i hope this rumour is false - I know its been discussed to death but I cant fathom why endless fictional or totally irrelevant characters continue to be added over ones with real potential. Fair enough, Liu Chan may turn out all right so long as they dont make him some kind of comedy stooge character, akin to Hideaki Kobayakawa in Basara 3. But Guan Suo can only be in there to justify Bao Sanniang, given that he did not exist save to provide a link between Shu Han and Guan Yu in the later chapters of the novel. Guan Suo fights against the Nanman and gets injured - thats it. You're telling me Liao Hua/Wang Ping/Zhang Yi/[insert countless generals] have been overlooked for that. As for a wife of Sun Quan... we've had identical stories with the Qiaos and Zhou Yu and Sun Ce previously, is another really needed. I stand on the anti-female side of the argument due to them being involved simply as titillation and fangirls - and to suggest that having this opinion is sexist is quite frankly pathetic as it ignores the rational argument that they are simply far more shallow than historical generals. Who's taking bets on whether we're getting Zhuge Zhan's wife added next - significant only for killing herself against a pillar as Chengdu fell?(at least i've heard of her) |

Which is exactly why we come to places like here, to talk about our wants and discuss the game for what it is. I'm not even really complaining at all. I'm over Guan Suo and think Lady Bu would be a good character to flesh out Sun Quan. Not saying I don't think there are better options though. |

if we ignored people who we didn't like, and ignored hearing things we didn't like, and didn't say anything that would rile anyone up and didn't make useless conjecture, this forum wouldn't exist because no one would post, and we'd all wait quietly alone in our lives until the game was released. We'd play it without commenting, say nothing online, and it would be a very lonely boring time. People get riled up, however, it's to the extent that people do that is whats bad, having an argument isn't the end of the world, just don't drag it on for pages and pages repeating the same lines. Opinions are opinions and they're going to crash into each other. Crashes are cool, otherwise we'd never have games like burnout. Just try not to make too much of a mess doing it, ok everyone? At least they aren't going the route other games/anime/whatnot go with the three kingdoms story and start genderswapping people just to cram fanservice in. Everyone is at least their historical (or original fiction) gender, right? We don't need -another- iteration of the three kingdoms where half the cast or more is female, even if it would be the easiest way to add kick-butt warrior ladies onto the battlefields. tl;dr, stop complaining about complaining, say your opinion, but don't get all fanatic about it and here's mine! (one of) Quan's wife(s)? really? Seems wierd and reachy to me. |

Meee. While not really that classic, I'd love to see a remix of DW3's March. I've always loved most of the March songs. =3 |

I personnaly don't really care. Lu Bu's theme is back, and the preludes we heard sound great, I find them better than many musics of the previous installments. If battles themes are as great as those, then I'll be happy

I'd like a vocal credits theme like they used to have. Also quite a few older songs were great, Eve, great red spirit, welcome to china, etc, all great. |

As we know already, the OST (Original Soundtrack) of the game will be huge. It has 3 Disc's. That could mean, that music from the older games are selectable. @ garnix: Right too. |

How about some older tracks be downloadable content and every level in the entire game gets it's own track. There have been several levels which always had those, but the other ones shared another track. I hope something more orchestral like the preludes, but then more battle orientated. |

I can't remember all the titles of the "songs". But in DW6 there were 2 "songs", which i liked the most. "Tropical Wars (He Fei-stage)" and "Welcome to China (Xu Shang-stage)". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDeiAb4MzpI&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-xHOeWOcBs Edited by ThreeKingdomsWarrior, Sun Jan 16, 2011 10:31 pm.

Me! I would love to hear classic remixes like one of your favourites, Jump Into The Battlefield. Also I guess I wouldn't mind a Sacred Grounds remix and finally a mix of Eve or something. However as long as they can deliver with catchy BGMs and awesome guitar riffs, mainly focusing on something different, I say bring on the fresh pieces! I'm most eagerly awaiting Lu Bu's BGM and He Fei Castle's. Edited by LittleDragonZ, Sun Jan 16, 2011 10:33 pm.

Just listened to "Eve". And remembered. I heard it often, because i played that "survivial"-stage in DW4 so much. Really one of the best tracks from the series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAs7dk_E5jg |

Eve is so awesome, yes, but I would say it's probably overrated. I'm not the only that thinks that. In terms of favourite DW4 songs, I have both Lu Bu's and Avenging Battle in my top 5 list ever. Now thinking about a Superior remix, I would definitely like to hear what they can do with it as DWO's Yasu Mix is incredible! Edited by LittleDragonZ, Sun Jan 16, 2011 10:45 pm.

I agree with what you've said in point 1), DW females should stop "just being wives/girlfriends". I mean, KOEI can do that, we can see it within No in SW, Nu Wa in WO2, Ginchiyo Tachibana (even though she gets a bit "husband follower" in SW3 I think? I don't have the game so I can't tell...). We see that KOEI is capable of forging them great character, but for some reason, just DON'T. |

Eve, Welcome to China, and tropical wars FTW all the way. DW3 had some good tunes but they would have to be WAAAAYY redone since they so old. They sound old, like all made on a PC, where now they are all orchastrated |
