I thought to get the animals you had to: 1. Buy them in a city/town 2. Or, it is possible you can just randomly get them in Boost or Weapon hexagons? |

Gotta account for my possible errors however, I'm 95% sure on my counts so expect 1-3 off on some of those counts. |

On the Japanese site they had an icon for Animal Hexes where you could get a pet or mount from them. But yea you can also buy them in towns, its my guess they added them to another hex or added them as drops from officers. |

Well first of all we cannot be sure that there are exactly 63 special weapon stages. It is only an estimation taken from a screenshot. There are only 36 actual special weapon stages seen on the screenshot. I was speculating that the other 20 ? ones and the 7 locked stages could also be special weapon stages bringing the total special weapon stages to 63. This is total speculation and does not confirm an extra new character. If there was a new character i'd hope it be Pang De or Zuo Ci but that probably won't happen. Yea we best not give any evidence to even remotely suggest it just to keep the discussion from derailing again xD But yea I figure if they did, they'd do 36 S.Weapon hexes (for 62 characters) then if they added a new character as DLC they'd toss them in on one of the hexes (so one would have 3). I wonder if DW7 will suport 480p 4:3 aspect ratio like Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2? Well if it's only widescreen that's okay. |

I'd be REALLY happy if Koei added Zuo Ci. He was one of my favorites in DW5. |

yep, its been confirmed that Generic Officers could wield a character weapon. For example the iron fan of Da Qiao. Sometimes when you defeat them in battle they drop the weapon, you can pick it up and switch weapons with the one you picked up. I think you can also switch the weapon to any that you unlocked in the past during the battle. There is a video on the home page that ha Wang Yuanji showcasing this. She defeats a general who has the club. Picks it up and then weilds it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlwWKLQzYVE&feature=player_embedded Skip to 3:30 and watch the weapon swap thing. I have a feeling that it wont be Zuo Ci or Pang De. Maybe not even be Wen Yang(despite my hopes) either. Maybe... Maybe it's Yuan Shu?! If only we knew where the extra hex is truely at than we could get a better view on who could it be. If the hex is at Shou Chun or around Wu and Wei border than I would bet that would be Wen Yang. Though if it's to the South than... A Wu character! Near Shu than another Shu add. Though if it's in the Central Plains it could be a number of characters! |

Yea the animations for females using the club are different, they drag it instead (whereas males hold it on their shoulder) |

Yeah. Because all Women are weak, right Koei? =p I really hope they don't have Zhu Rong drag anything. She's stronger than half of the male cast combined. |

@Cannibal: I don't think so. Maybe... Yeah, that would actually make the characters a little more unique! But, I doubt it. I think its just how they carry it.

I think the movesets are the same, just the way they hold it when running is different, so the speed is also effected. For example a woman with the club would hold it lower than a man and have a slower running pace. Whereas a man who can weild large weapons would hold it higher and run slightly faster. I think the speed is also affected like that but i am not sure. I know the way they carry it is affected depending on who is wielding it. Edited by ZhugeEX, Sat Feb 26, 2011 11:50 pm.

That does sound kinda sexist though... I doubt Lu Xun could lug a Club around just fine. Especially compared to Zhu Rong. |

yeh its kinda sexist aha, but thats how KOEI chose to impliment it. Perhaps it'll work with men too, those that wield light weapons carry heavy weapons lower as well. And strong females like Zhu Rong would carry heavy weapons high like normal. |

Yes the male look when using the weapon will be different, however movesets will be the same. It's just to keep Xiahou Dun from looking like a fairy |

Thanks JabbaEX. Also I think the animal hexes may have been merged with another hex. Also about the male/female weapon stance, it does seem sexist, however I think Zhu Rong will get slightly different treatment, since she is a warrior-women type of character. |

I really hope that is the case. Zhu Rong shouldn't be lumped in with the weak woman sterotype. |

If this 63 weapon hex is true which it might not be as it's only a assumption my bets would be on a Other character even though I want it to be Pang De it wouldn't seen right for a Wei character to be a suprise out of the blue, my bet is on Yuan Shu |
