I got a feeling they have been making the PVs on harder difficulty settings (or with low level characters) because in the Jin PV Wang Yuan Ji's air musou looked weak, hardly killing anyone whereas in this new footage her KO count jumps from 128 to 172 when she does it :hehe: .

Oh wow just watched that gameplay video and that's really awesome how when you get a weapon from an officer in battle, it shows you which one it is! That way you don't have to pop open the menu each time to see if you want to equip it or not...

<3 Can't wait.

A Shame about the gan ning having jia xu weapon, even if it does fit him. Just glad that he's shirtless. That alone makes him better than dw6. I do hope that dw3 costumes will come back and don't forget about he alternate costumes if they're not just color change.

The enemy seems a a little more aggressive from waht i can tell in the gameplay vid.
I noticed that the enemies were more aggressive too! Glad to see it wasn't just me. I think it's a nice touch. It makes you feel more threatened. Unless if this is Chaos Mode.

Valbatoze: Those pictures were already posted a few pages back.
oh sorry, i didnt look back a few pages and thought no one posted them.........^^' sorry again

It's fine.

I think that showing you the weapon is a nice touch too. Again, I'm really glad that you can change the weapons mid-battle.

Is it just me, or does this game get better and better as the days pass.

Chronicle Mode seems even more amazing now, and makes me okay with the subtraction of Free Mode.
So now other characters will get their own little stories. Awesome :D

Musous are characters specific rather than weapon specific, so they'll always do their musou with their EX weapon.

Furthermore, though it has already been announced that costumes from SSM5 will be available for download free from the day of release, producer Suzuki revealed that costumes from SSM4 and SSM3 will also be distributed for free. It seems that the exact date for their distribution will be announced later but, this will surely be a happy notification for those people who have been playing the series up till now.

Oh God yes!

These DLC packs better make their way to the west; I'd much rather have those two than the DW6 ones.

The info about character stories in Conquest, being shown what weapons you pick up during battle and pausing to switch at any time is all old news but I'm glad the people who didn't know about it are finding out now. The new bit of info would be how it seems each character will have a series of "Legend of __" stages (whereas before it was made to sound like each character would only get 1 specialized Conquest stage.

I think they went the right direction with having Kingdom based main story mode and shorter, more focused individual stories in Conquest Mode (in addition to all the other stuff you can do in CM). Now I just wonder if perhaps we will get CG endings for everyone's various "Legends". If so, that would be unexpectedly awesome and should silence all the people who were complaining about the switch to the Kingdom based story mode  .

I'm very pleased with the news of DW4 and DW5 costumes making their way. DW4 definitely had some of my favourite designs as I've said on a number of occasions. Seemed to strike a great balance between flash and tradition. Will definitely download it if it makes its way to Western shores.

It's a bit sad that you barely see anyone talk about Huang Gai, haha. Dude still plays a part! Wondering if he'll retain any Mr T like features this time around.

Chronicle mode sounds really interesting now that its seems that it's three unique stages per character than just one. I do think we might see some maps get overused but what the hell?

Glad the dw4-5 costumes are coming back.

One thing I really hope they implement is making it so that the outfits you choose become the character's default outfits when encountered in the game as NPCs (I believe SW2 did this, but I'm not 100%).

For example: It would be fantastic if I could set Gan Ning to his awesome DW4 outfit and then when I fight him in a stage he looks like that instead of his new look.

That's what if hoping for. I don't want to have to see Ling Tong's DW7 outfit at all, so if it was possible to keep him in his DW5 or 6 outfit, I'd be happy.

EDIT: It happened in SW1, you could set characters to permanently use their alt. outfits. But I think it was chaging everyone to use them, rather than individually, not completely sure.

Another thing I hope they include with the DW6 outfits are the special Orochi Z outfits made for the people who weren't in DW6.

Same. I think it would be a very good idea.

I do not think. I think that many NPCs will have different weapons, but only one.

The only Huang Gai to keep his old appearance from DW6, and his bomb attacks. Those were fun.

@Astus I wonder if he'll get his bombs back in any form. They were really unique, and fun to use :) I also hope setting off the Chi Bi flames involve more work than just taking him to a certain place and triggering a cutscene

No, Chin has already told us they will only have one weapon... This includes everyone thats on the field (but you, obviously)

Im thinking If Huang Gai gets his bombs back, they will be part of his Musou :P

One of the musou attacks of Huang Gai could be a big explosion with a bomb!

Wow... I really, really hope that the costume DLC's come to Europe (I think with all the effort to make them, it's a given). The fact Koei will be offering 4 and 5 costumes for free too pleasantly surprises me. It's fantastic that they're prepared to offer this for no extra charge!

I think 4,5 and 6 will be the freebies, and then they'll charge for 1, 2 and 3 costumes (which I have no complaints about)

As for other charged DLC? I think additional Conquest stages is a given, but I also half expect 'anti-clone' weapon packs. I wouldn't mind paying for either of those. If they do add Pang De back with a unique Conquest Mode stage, I shall be purchasing him ;)

And guys, the whip HASN'T been confirmed, so don't get too excited - though I admit, that would be great news!

Hurry up April 1st!
