http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/dynasty-warriors-7/achievements/

I'm loving the sound of these achievements, I hope the PS3 version is similar. And these are much more diverse than Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage trophies on the PS3 which was basically complete all stories.

These give away good information:
Spoiler: click to toggle

I would say, the amout of achievements are OK.
There are 50 trophies. DW6:E had 51, if i counted right.
I hope, that we are getting more, when we have downloaded some content.
It's not about the amount. Quality owns quantity.

From what's shown the list is great, diverse because it involves you going through all areas of the game and for the 100% achievement you need to do objectives like max a character out, etc. As expected in games nowadays yes, but Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage never even had such a trophy, so this is good to know.
I agree. In DW6:E the achievements were simple, easy and boring. Like "Complete a stage with ___________". These ones seem relativley challenging, I like them, some of them I will not be able to complete LOL.
Yes...you both are absolutely right. Actually i have spoken for others  .
This one is good balanced. I hope, that reviewers see and respect this, and don't write, that the game lasts only __ hours.

Some achievements "look" interesting.
"God of War" with the picture of Wei Yan?
And below of it "Army of One" with Guan Yu and "Unrivaled Warrior" with Zhao Yun.
A bit mixed-up, huh?

"Expert" with the experienced Huang Gai, "Nobleman" with Yuan Shao, "Perfect Battle" with the shield Cao Ren and "Gourmand" with Xu Zhu are really fitting.

Anyone who could read japanese could I get you to PM me? there's something on the main site I'd like translated to end a ton of arguements.

Its under Modes, click the Weapons one, then click the black box in the bottom left. Its about Weapon Skills.

Is this brought up already?:

We can see now the DW1 costumes on the DW7-site.
I don't mean the artworks from the past.
They show the characters, how they will really look like in their DW1-costumes.
I must say, Taishi Ci's one looks very unique. Reminds me a bit of Zhou Tai.
I swear, i will rant if these are Japan-only.

Yes, the Twitter Weapon pics have been updated. Unfortunately it's just Gan Ning, Diao Chan, Huang Gai, Xu Huang, Lu Bu and Cao Pi. I wonder if they'll add the other arts like that...
Updated again. Lu Bu is now selectable too.
http://aitherion.org/dw7/

Edit: Oh sorry, you edited your post already.

Edit: A pity, that there are no more. And i think, we will see no more too.
On the DW7-site it says 3/3-updates.
That would be the date of the update, March 3rd, not like 3 out of 3 updates :P . I hope they keep updating until all of the CG w/ Weapons have been uploaded, but I don't think we have any indication yet of whether they will continue or stop yet.

Ah, you are right. Just recognized that.
Then i can still hope. I don't think, that they will make weapon-cg's from everyone.
But i don't understand, why there are no Wei Yan of Zhang Fei weapon-pics.
Or pics from characters, whose weapon-type is not shown yet.

@ TheSexyMidget:
You're welcome. So far, we have seen only 5 DW1-costumes (Zhao Yun, Lu Bu, Diao Chan, Taishi Ci and Xiahou Dun).
I ask myself, when will we see the others from DW1.

Well the reason we have seen those few are that they are store specific pre-order bonuses. If they end up releasing a DW1 outfit pack in the future then that would be when we should see the rest of them.

Side note: Were the Shu and Wu battle themes uploaded last week with the PVs? This is my first time hearing them in full and I really love them both - especially the Shu one (just not as much as the fantastic Jin one).

I'd like to think DW as the kind of ROTK re-telling that can take liberty with story elements and gameplay elements. Sure Zhuge Liang will shoot lasers and whatnot. That's fine and all. As long as gameplay elements don't seep into cutscenes or FMV's it's OK.

You want realism? ROTK series is right next door.

I'd kind of expect more from a moderator than the simple decisive reasoning like that =/ the "ROTK series is next door" argument isn't anything more than a different way of saying "screw you" to anyone who wants an inkling of realism in Dynasty Warriors.

They have just as much of a right to voice their opinions as anyone else does about the state of the game and what they wish to see in it.

Myself? At the point we're at right now is solid for me, if it gets any whackier it'd start irking me, but the mythological aspects (magic, flying swords) is subtle enough to not bother me.

Edit: My apologies if my post comes out as hostile or is me stepping out of place, wasn't intending such a thing. Just didn't think telling people what boils down to "no one cares" about their opinion is a little.. harsh.

I'm just saying is all, expressing your opinion is fine, as long as you don't shoot down anyone else and say that your opinion matters and no one else's doesn't.

Frankly I'm exhausted from my work right now so I may be wrong, but I definitely got that impression from that argument in the past pages.

Without inciting yet another flame storm, you're not far wrong - the moderators have been just as bad as us (me included!) lately.

A couple of days ago I got shouted down by Jsun, who was wrong, who misunderstood me, and who then mysteriously vanished from the conversation and never apologised after telling me 'I didn't bother reading the info box' when that was irrelevant to my point.

Last week (or thereabouts) I witnessed Seraphil lose his cool and go absolutely psycho about some irrelevant topic, I wasn't at the receiving end of this one, just a witness.

This isn't a complaint or something, I'm just saying there's ground to have low expectations of the moderators (some, not all!) at the moment...

I really hope we get DW1 costumes here in the states, even if they are paid DLC. In all honesty, I'm thinking that the pre-order bonus (for Japan) costumes are already on the disc, and they just give you an unlock code, since that's how things generally go with these types of promos.

I really dislike the new Diao Chan costume, so I will definitely be putting her in DW6 clothes, and hopefully eventually DW1, since I really like that outfit.

Yep he has a Pike styled like his old Battleaxe.

Which is fine with me.
