In Kingdom Mode, the skill points and weapons you earn in earlier stages (while playing as different characters) are carried over to the later stages (if you haven't used the skill points yet). You can then use the carried over skill points to upgrade the characters that are used in later stages.

On normal, I've never had to do separate 'training' sessions in Chronicle/Conquest mode when playing through Kingdom mode.

The 10 sec musou no longer exists. the musou stamp/chop now restores all your musou gauges, while the musou jar only restores one gauge.

Don't worry too much about the DW4/5 costumes, I'm seriously 99.9% sure they'll come to EU and NA - it seems too much work to only release it in Japan.

@Raiko Z: They ARE redesigning the outfit... hence they're fitting the costumes around the 7-shaped bodies. Unless I've misunderstood you...

Why do you think the DW4/5 outfit pack DLCs won't be released in NA? I'm really looking forward to them! I hope they'll be announced for both EU and NA or I'll be really disappoi-nted!
Moogle

that's a pretty bold statement, especially considering it's actually released in US earlier?
Well, KOEI's European fanbase gets a lot of things that the North American one does not. For instance, pre-order bonuses. Yes, Europe will get the game three days later than North America, but they also get a few other things that North America does not (a 360 version of Troy, the opportunity to obtain the non-game merchandise without importing them from pricy redistributors, etc.). This isn't a dig at KOEI or anything, it's simply the way things are.

As for the DLC even making it to Europe, though, remember this: the vast majorty Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires's DLC didn't make it out of Japan.

Sorry to go off topic, this is a question for those who have played the game. Is there any competitive multiplayer matches in DW7 conquest mode? (Player vs Player) Strikeforce had it.

And yes, DLCs, The costume ones should be free, in my opinion, but i dont like buying things bit by bit, like add ons seperately. Id rather 1 big payment for alot of content.

Just to correct you, because I'm kind of getting fed up with these generalisations now... the pen pre-order bonus is in the UK ONLY NOT THE WHOLE OF THE EU. It is also for pre-ordering in one chain of shops ONLY. So please amend your facts.

Secondly, 'the vast majority Dynasty Warrors 6: Empires DLC didn't make it out of Japan.' Utter rubbish. The EU and NA got ALL of the content, except for exclusive costumes for the kingdom leaders, one a piece. That's all we missed out on.

Wrong. More DLC for Empires was released after the PSP port came out, and it stayed JP exclusive. Also you might as well count the DW5 costumes that only were released for the PSP version.

He's right. I'm pretty sure we got all of the DW6: Empires DLC except for those cartoony looking skins of Liu Bei (and Cao Cao)... plus or minus a music track or two.

I'm with Frayling. We'll get most if not all the DLC that comes out for the game in Japan. I think one factor in why we didn't get those aforementioned skins was because they were from a game that never saw the light of day in the west (iirc).

EDIT: Hmmm... did not know about the PSP version. Not sure what was released with that.

A couple new CAW outfits, some of them were the outfits of the DW5 cut characters. And the PSP port got all character's DW5 outfits as alts.

Thanks Dragonvirus for the link. So much for "utter rubbish".~

Yes, but your point is completely irrelevant because the PSP port was never released in the West - and it's hardly the 'vast majority'. Also, my point about the pre-order bonus still stands, getting fed up of the melodrama about the 'EU getting everything' when it's literally for one shop chain in the UK.

The jin music sounds pretty damn awesome. Love the chorus, bass and guitar to that. It does fit the final stage feel. Still my favorites will always be men of intel., brast from the ast and sacred ground.

The CAW outfits were also released for 360/PS3 in JP, mind you.

Harly a melodrama when only one person mentioned it.

I'm not going to argue any more after this, because this thread doesn't need more spam but it wasn't one person that mentioned it, since it's been announced numerous NA users have been whining that the 'EU gets everything' when they don't have a clue about the pre-order details.

Secondly, my point about the Empires stuff still stands. Yes it was released on PS3 and 360 but it was precipitated by a Japan only port, we can hardly expect all of that extra DLC. DW7 is a very different story. Anything major, e.g previous title costumes and stages we WILL get. And yes, NA will get it too!

I thought the one we gonna pay is weapon DLC only? Don't joke I must pay more for the costumes..
From the info we've got so far...

- The 4/5/6 costumes are FREE (In Japan at least.)
- The only weapon DLC (The Senka Scythe) is paid.
- No confirmation stage-wise.
- @janussenpre: Thanks, so free BGM's for Conquest Mode... I didn't know that, thanks again.

Eh, he's got a habit of twisting what I say out of context anyway. He thought that because I preferred the name "Chronicle Mode" to "Conquest Mode" that I was a weeaboo elitist when it was simply a matter of me being used to the word "Chronicle" and thinking it was a more accurate alternative. But he refused to let it go, even after several pages, so there you go.

Okay, so it's just UK who gets the preorder deal. But that doesn't change the fact that there has never been a preorder deal in North America for any of the KOEI games. The UK is seen as a more viable market for the games, and I'm not complaining about it. I'm objectively stating that that means that North America is not as likely as EU to get any post-release content. After all, the European fanbase is the driving force behind this site, and Tecmo KOEI's European staff are more in contact with their fans than the North American staff. I can tell you the names of three TKE staffers, but I couldn't tell you the name or even the online handle of a single North American one, and I'm not even from Europe.

So all I'm saying is that, if any non-Japanese territory gets the DLC, it will be either Europe or both Europe and North America. (I'm not sure where Australia fits in this. Sorry, Aussie fans.) Until the North American fanbase is more vocal about wanting all this content - and not on this site, but on the proper channels - that won't be changing.

Well, the problem is I've just realized that that could probably happen. I mean, I think there was a DLC for Empires that was Japan-exclusive, so I'm getting kinda scared now. But no worries, most of the designs in this game are decent, so even if we don't get it, I won't be that disappointed...
There was only one set of special CAW skins representing Cao Cao and Liu Bei that were Japan exclusive DLC... N. America at least got everything else. I'm not worried.

we'll be getting the costumes.

On another note: Didn't realize stocking 4 musous was a seal skill... thats good to know, at least I can avoid it.

Look, I understand your point, and I'm sorry if I seem hostile, but with the DW6E DLC, nothing was released in the EU that wasn't released in NA, so I still don't get the whole US/UK thing... And the pre-order bonus is a pen. A pen. I live in the UK but I've preordered with Amazon so I won't be getting it either. If you want one, I don't doubt they'll appear on Ebay over the next few months.
