i must say the new OST i just got
its really really awesome
i think it might be one of the best DW OSTs yet
albeit some songs have very similar rifts
Agreed, has some nice tracks, and hoping previous DW soundtracks are released as DLC to make things even better

They're not perfecting the EU game over the NA game, people just want to feel dominate for some reason. The nuclear issue is gonna **** some **** up though.

OT, Zhao Yun and Zhang Liao to level 50 on the first night of release! :D

There is no official confirmation of delays whatsoever, two websites have changed the release date, TWO of the gaming vendors out of hundreds. Koei hasn't said a damn thing about it and Chin had questioned on his blog the other day whether people would be fine with it in exchange for Japanese voice DLC, which was met with pretty negative response.

So please do not say a WORD about the delay until something official is said because so far there is nothing to suggest there is one except some site changes and Chin's insanity (but we still love him anyway)
Wait a minute.

I know there were quite a bit of people here complaining about no JP voice option.
So Chin throws a suggestion on making it a free DLC option..........but delay the game by a few days.

And it was met with NEGATIVE repsonses?

I don't know what else to say.

I think he said delay a week, and from what I saw it was negative, not overwhelmingly, but generally.

I think its unnecessary quite frankly, just release it as DLC a week later. Why make everyone wait another week for a feature only a small percentage of actual players will use? (Even if I'm one of those players)

As much as I'd like to get the Japanese Voices, I would HATE a delay, even if it's only by one week. Especially since I planned things around the 1st April, in order to play as much as I want.

Add them as DLC, problem solved, no delay, everybody's happy.

Actually Shadow was wrong, it wasn't met with negative responses, there were more positive ones than negative, :)

Eh things might've changed since I checked it, I was reading right afterwards.

I just really hope its not the case, I took the day off work for the game expecting no delays this close to launch and as I said, its completely uncalled for.

KOEI's already started advertising DW7, so delays shouldn't really happen. But a lot of delays has happened to some of their games lately, notably Legends of Troy, so there's no guarantee there won't be any delays. But I'd say 99.9% there wouldn't be any delays at all.
As far as the game goes, I'm liking all the videos I'm seeing. However I think bow users are lacking in strength by a huge amount.

Hi guys.

Did anybody consider yet that the catastrophe ongoing in Japan might cause delays for DW7? Could even be that Koei themselves got damaged by this earthquake or tsunami..

And if they aren't damaged, maybe there could still be some logistic delays?

Does anybody know anything?
1) Thankfully, the Koei-Tecmo Community Manager has confirmed that the Japanese KT team are safe and sound.

2) The game has already been released in Japan.

3) The copies of the games for NA and EU are most likely produced in the USA and Germany, so it *probably* won't cause an issue.

4) At the moment, no additional delays are CONFIRMED, but the rumour (changed dates on Play.co.uk and Game.co.uk) so far only applies to the EU not NA. It's most likely because of localisation issues - Europe is a bit more complicated than NA, with all different logistical and language issues.

5) Last week Chin asked whether we would be happy to have the game delayed 1 week to add the Japanese Voice Options, though we've had no official answer, it COULD have something to do with it.\

I hope that answers everyone's questions and the queries that have been floating around for a few days.
Reposting this to support Shadowclaimer's points, I completely agree with him. No one seemed to take any notice of my points. NO DELAYS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED AS OF YET.

Shouldn't the US and EU localization teams have had the game MONTHS ago. I mean you can't translate a text heavy game like DW7 in a few weeks, so I'm sure anything that happened in Japan couldn't have been the reason for the new EU delay.

I'm thinking its either not real, something to do with the pre-order pens, something to do with the JP voice option, something to do with the printing of the discs or the most basic one, something to do with the localization.

As long is it does come to the states...........I have no qualms anout waiting a week or 2 longer for DW7

I have other games, stuff to finish that can occupy my time during the wait.

I thought PSN set a limit on free DLC content for each game. (someone from rockstar told me this when speaking about RDR DLC). This may explains the fact that they'd prefer adding it directly on the disc.

If they have delayed the game for Japanese Voices then that is not very fair on the people that don't want it in Or dont wish to use it. (Like Myself) & could of easily been patched in a future update as DLC.

Anyway has it been revealed if the NA & UK Are getting the DLC Costumes for 1.4.5.6? Since DW6 Empires had japan exclusive DLC (Da qiao, Zuo Ci, Zhu Rong etc...) for CAW.

This untrue because DW6E had tons of DLC

Don't matter if they were announced or not. They simply are. The vendors have postponed the release to 8th April. You simply can't buy it before that - at least not here in EU.

Chin has said on Twitter "I think it would be 8th" referring to the release date of DW7.

Yeah, a lot of DLC, but not huge ones. I believe having all the voices as DLC would be quite huge in term of Mo...

I wander how the "haters" reacted to Bao being in the oppening scene!!

I am liking her move set a lot :D, however, it seems week like Wang Yuanji/Zhu Rong's one :(

about the delays, I don't care if they are late or not but I will sure like it if the game its on time cuz I will be in spring break :D,

no beach this time around, only DW7

Okay, so I don't think anyone has thought of this yet, but maybe the two specific websites that changed the dates were getting the games late? Maybe they think DW7 won't be a big sell so they're not bothering buying it on the first day! I don't know, that's what I hope.

Anyway, I think I agree with Shadowclaimer and Frayling. The JP voice option can be released after the game as DLC. I, myself, would like to try the option after I play the English game, but it still isn't worth another delay!

And for those people who say the supposed delay is only for EU, I think that the NA version's going to do the same later on. They just release news later than Europe.

The reason why Japanese language support would delay the game, even if it was DLC, is because KOEI would have to implement the support for the additional sound track. They would be adding functionality to the NA/EU versions of the game that isn't present in the Japanese version. This takes time.

So no, they can't just "release the DLC later."

I'm glad someone explained that finally. I keep forgetting to mention that in here when I see discussion on the delay.

Again, we're only speculating that the delay has anything to do with the JP voice option. It may be a matter of logistics with supply for all we know.

We'll know when we get the game in our hands though, whenever that is. You can look at it this way: at least the game is still being released and the delays are nothing like the Gran Turismo 5 delays
