Not sure why it's delayed for the UK only... but it seems pretty definite considering retailers have sent out emails of apology (i got one from Amazon earlier) I cannot see any logical reason why it's the pens, because that's for one shop in particular. If Europe is getting it at the previous date, I'm stumped. But of course, other country retailers could just be slow in taking action. I don't think so, we have our own GAME shops here, and no words on the delay. It might very well indeed only be UK. If it's Europe as a whole, then I'll just import from the United States, I seriously can't wait, and I really don't mind getting the english version.

Just some information from me playing the game so far:
1.I've gotten two trophy's so far, one for completing tutorial mode, and one for killing over 1000 kills.
2.There are alternate colors for costumes, and when you play Xiahou Dun or Sima Shi, you can choose to play them either with an eye patch/mask or without.
3.Tutorial took me a good 45 minutes to complete, perhaps because I didn't understand anything it was telling me, so I had to guess most of the time.
4.Graphics surprisingly look a bit strange, what I mean by that is that all the characters look rubbery up close and the lighting is all off, it makes everyone look fake.

As far as the graphics comment, I too fear how the characters were going to look like. Do you have an HDtv?
**EDIT**
Sorry, I took the liberty to watch little steams as possible, well considering that I couldn't see none of Justin's vids, so I hardly know anything. Just sticking around for new DLC.

So yup, it's there for both his normal and alt colors.

nice challenge info

Challenging aspects:
For starters, enemy Musous now go off without a hitch, only indicator is a very distinct noise and red aura around them. While they do this, they are completely invincible...as are you, but since Musous don't clash and lead to Weapon deadlocks anymore, if you have a shorter musou, you might end up eating the enemy's.
Only reason it's not as dangerous to the player is when you do a Musou attack, enemies around yo/time is slowed down, when enemies do it, you're still free to move before the actual damaging part of their Musou goes off.
Also since there are different types of musous, if you combo an enemy and juggle them too much and they air recover, they will usually musou and if you can't jump cancel to get away, prepare to eat it.
Another thing I've noticed with enemy Musou attacks is that those with mobile ones, will often try to cross you up if you are blocking. Example going Zhang Liao constantly moving behind me to break my block if I attempt to block it. So in general, usually a better bet to just run since they can either cross you up, or have Musou attacks that are grabs.
Enemies now also will juggle you till you can air recover away, length of combos tend to vary with difficulty, since I've literally been juggled for a good 12+ hits by some characters doing SST -> ST -> SSTTTT or etc.
Also, enemies with weapons/movesets that have grabs as a a charge will tend to abuse them, most notorious are the spear guys, so I guess this can be seen as pretty lame as well, lol.
Oh and they apparently love to just go behind you in general when in mobs, or maybe that's just due to enemy pop ins.
, they seem to have perfect timing as they will literally wait for your musou to end/no more invincibility and attack you before you can do anything outside of another musou, same with getting getting up air recovering.
same as mentioned above, but when done be archers, the guys with shields, and the calvary guys *hate the last two...so much*.
Seems like Archers will completely disregard line of sight and even obstacles, though, sometimes they do respect it... Their arrows also go freakishly far and will go through allies, so usually it's either take the hit, block it, or hope you have a meatshield around. Damage from arrows seems to be around 40-70 or so damage a hit, but that depends on difficulty and stats, so while they aren't anywhere as deadly as the DW3: XL archers, they sure as hell are annoying.
Guys with shields seem programmed to annoy the players, usually when I try to attack an officer with those shield guys around, more often than not, they will charge and interrupt my attacks, and if one guy hits, usually around 2 - 7 more will follow unless I musou out.

I dont know about you, but this makes me happy. Its nice to know that its more challenging and not just SUPER STRENGTH! I hated the fact that when you raised the difficulty all it did was make the officers and militia super strong. Good combat this time. I LIKE:)

I got to disagree on Point #4. I've been playing my import since it came in on Tuesday on my 40 inch HDTV and I got to say, the graphics look great; the best in the series. Aside from the usual nitpicks, like minor pixelation in shadows, or low resolution faces on the grunts, everything looks fine. The characters look no more fake than any other video game, although I notice that the lighting conditions of each stage vary greatly. You can actually stand directly under the shine of the sun or (under some clouds?) and the lighting on your character will reflect this change.
Also, maybe it has something to do with the picture mode on your TV? When I popped the game in, I had my TV set to Vivid screen mode, and everything looked really crazy. I then set it to Standard, and everything looks absolutely gorgeous.

nice challenge info - Quote:
-
Challenging aspects:
Does this mean you guys can't complain about the difficulty now? Or am I missing something? Again just a question, no offense intended to anyone.

^ It would appear that.
I'm almost afraid of what Lu Bu is going to be like on chaos mode, though.

Well perhaps I have the wrong setting for the game on my TV, although from what I saw, its not too great. Like I said the characters all look way too rubbery and shiny. Once I get the english version I'll adjust the settings.
Aside from that, so far I haven't played conquest mode yet, just the tutorial and a little bit of Shu's story mode. I'm going to mess around with the game later today, and once I figure how to edit videos I'll put something together for you guys to see, of me opening the game and playing it for the first time.
Once I unlock more characters, I'll also accept requests for gameplay you guys'd like to see.

I'm almost afraid of what Lu Bu is going to be like on chaos mode, though. I hope so, but as a DW fan you know you can never be happy. I'm just glad they made a 7, 6 was such a letdown even Strikeforce was more fun than 6.

Nice! Will Koei get that much love here in America? Probably not... And its a wonder why we don't get the Preorder Stuff and Treasure Box Set... If they play their cards right in DW 8 [off the gate] I'm sure the ratings and sales will go up. I think if they get a good 5 years between DW 7 and 8 and just keep DLC rolling here and there with 7, they could make DW 8 please many people on all aspects in the game, being historical accurate, real kingdom mode that doesn't need pre determined characters, classic free mode, and conquest mode. Though I doubt the voices will please any one, as every just claims the japanese voices are perfect so yea. Then with the 5 years they will finaly/hopefully figure out how to have no clones and yes I repeat it is possible. I look at the youtube videos I don't see many americans liking half of the stuff and not understanding Koei really only the people on this site know a lot about DW 7 though I could be wrong. People have high expectations in Kingdom(Reality it's a 4 person story mode)mode.
I'm still excited to play DW 7 myself because I really don't want to be looking at a dao so I'll just use Lui Bei first and I'll also understand what's happening in conquest mode and story mode.
Now I'll forewarn people when they post their disagreement, IDGAF lol, I notice people will "counter attack" my post then feel like an hero if I don't respond lol... all I have to say is good luck

I don't understand anything you said Reverie... Perhaps its the way you said it.
I THINK you were trying to say that you're hoping DW8 will be better that DW7 is turning out to be? But if you're saying that... It doesn't make any sense, you haven't even played DW7 yet.... And it doesn't have to do anything with what we were talking about on here.
I do agree that DW7 doesn't really seem to be my favorite Dynasty Warriors game.... I thought it would be, but I'm not quite sure now that I've played it... I just didn't get the first impression that I had when I first played DW5 or 6, although I need to play the game more to confirm this...

Especially when you look at the sales for the rest of the list - it beet the FF fighting game by nearly four times the sales. The power of Deng Ai finally getting in a DW game taking its hold then eh haha.
I wonder how Troy will do over in Japan seeing the love over there still for anything Warriors based... the two SW titles for example all still sitting comfy in the charts.
