Nope, you can equip DLC costumes and alternate costumes by going into the gallery and equipping them in there. The chosesn costume will now be in cutscenes/gameplay for that character.

You guys seem to have misunderstood me when i said alternate costume. What i meant was the costumes already in the game (the colour swap ones) How are they unlocked for each character? Or are they already unlocked from the beginning?

Huang Gai's musou makes him look like a dirty old man. His short shorts don't help matters...

I might be wrong but I thought I recall someone saying that alternate costumes are available right from the beginning when you unlock the character. So the moment you unlock say Ding Feng you get his alternate costume as well.

That's at least what I remember someone saying...

That is correct. Secondary costumes don't need to be unlocked.

Can someone help me with something? Aren't there like 3 types of musou attacks? How do I activate them? All I know is the regular O button musou.

Ewwwwww, Huang Gai. OOOOOOOH, he actually looks useful! This... could be troubling. Now if he'd just put on some pants.

And allies are even weaker than before? I guess that adds to the "illusion" of difficulty, eh? Guess those wanting a "challenge" should be very happy then.

Huang Gai, putting women in their place at last.

There are two types, and I think you have to buy the other one. If you do, it should be on the skill chain.
The other one is activated by pressing... I think the button to switch weapons along with the musou button. Or if it's an aerial one, jump and press circle.

By the way, how exactly are animals unlocked? Do you just beat the animal hex and they just give you one?

That Huang Gai scored some awesome points in my book. He's carrying a giant anchor, he is piledriving the ladies and showing off what is covering their lower body! Talk about a man! :beard:

Just couldn't resist to watch that Huang Gai video. Good, that it isn't showing much.
What is that for a women-hater playing like this  ?
Poor. Really poor. However, a bit funny was it, anyhow.

Therebisnt just two there should be three one being unlocked because I know sima shi has three Musous and a few others were shown so that should mean everyone has three Musous.

As for animal hexes usually you have to kill the actual owners at the end of the stage that's by a guess. Though for the red hare you have to fight someone after doing the objectives and then you'll get it, I hope I didn't spoil anything I put less details as I could.

By the way folks Huang fai's ex attack is beast as well, idk which is more crucial his ex or those two Musous.

No all characters have 2 musous , you must've thought Sima Shi EX a third musou

Characters have two musuos.

1. The basic musuo just by pressing the circle button or the "B" button.

2. The second is musou varies from airborne musuos, where you press the musuo button in air and it activates. OR characters have a second ground musuo, where you have to press R1+Circle.

EX Attacks are built upon the charge attack, and shouldn't be confused as a musuo attack.

Umm, what?

He didn't throw them in the kitchen, as far as I'm concerned, place not put... in... or something.

Regardless, I lol'd. I'll definitely be taking Huang Gai out for a few spins to pile drive Lian Shi into the ground. :beard:

what i like is in one of his musou attacks (the one when he throw the enemy at the air and grab them and maybe breaking the neck and some other bones in his back) there are troops cheering up for him :)

Yeah, Huang Gai is awesome. I want to see him use that musou on Xu Zhu. The midair into a neckbreaker musou.

Yeah, it's only two musous. But thanks for the info, Reverie.

Huang Gai looks awesome. I'm one of the few people who has always appreciated him. :P It would appear that he has no crowd clearing musou, but that's okay, because I guess that everyone else and their mom seems to. And the cheering is epic.

Oh, and has anyone noticed if there seems to be a lot of soldier "pop-ins" going on? You know, when they randomly just disappear and then appear again on the screen? That seemed to happen a lot during co-op in DW6 Empires. My friend would be in the main camp, and I'd run into another base, and practically no one was there. :\ And then they'd just appear and disappear randomly. Does anyone know if that happens in DW7 as well?
