I have a question for those who tried online, when a player dies, do the both of y'all lose? Or is there an assist system?

importers said co-op online, if one player goes down, that's it.

It's good that way because it will encourage more players to help defend each other if one of them is low on energy, and also prevents it from being too easy like Borderlands that has assists and respawns on top of that. :XD

Also no raise assists can maintain the difficulty better, and that in turn will encourage more teamwork.

Best Character select screen ever!

Video of Dun using the new weapon. The moveset looks incredibly fun and it is NOT just porting the old DW5 moveset to 7. However, I WILL miss the old C3 and C6 as I really loved those moves .

To me the moveset in that video reminds me more of Kiyomasa's moveset than Yue Ying's old moveset.

Has anybody else that for the first time in DW history, the order of the character select screen have altered? I know they did in DW6, but that was because 5 characters from each Kingdom were bumped up to 'Story' status, characters whos positions have changed are - [...]
I mentioned this a while ago. The new order for the character select screen is:

I was wondering...I live in EU and have a EU ps3 console, therefore will I be able to play a US version of DW7 on my console?
PS3 is region free, you will be able to play them all, do not worry.
You can also play Japanese games using a EU PS3 console.

PS3 has no region lock.
However, the GAME SAVES have region differences.

So if your game is EU, and the save is US, the save will not work for your game.
Hope this helped :)
It indeed helped, thanks. :D
My point of asking this was that I called a store here in EU and they informed me that they will have the game available this tuesday
(March 29th) and I suspect that it may be the US version. :/

It's just something that has been the same since the first game really. They basically kept the same order from game to game, and simply added the new characters to the end of their respective Kingdom's current roster. This time they moved things around a bunch (sounds like they did so too in 6, but I never played it so IDK), that is all.

It is the same with the Samurai Warriors character select too, and the orders also carried over into the Orochi series. I personally found it useful because Orochi Z was the first time I played DW characters (used to only be a SW series fan) and I didn't know who people were yet, but I found out about the order of the character select screen and learned from that, :P .

A shame bout the dagger axe not being an ex for Yue Ying but it was to be expected. Still its good that we have an extra moveset. Hope that we get bgm from dw3.

Edit: Also about the character selection order, notice in how the first five in those order were those who had stories in 6. I just think they are the people who Koei considers important.

Edit: With the exception of Sima Yi who is in Jin now but if he was still in Wei he would be higher on the selection.

Yea, I noticed that. The changes are pretty much Sima Yi leaving the Wei screen, the returning characters on the end and the new ones after that. So for example Guan Ping moving so far up the select screen is pretty much becauses there's bee 6 added on to the end of it since DW6.

Oh yeah, forget 6 had a move around. Guan Ping just striked me as one that had moved  . I never played him anyhow, probably me least played character in DW6, he sucked, very, very hard.

I never played 6 so I didn't know about the character select screen shuffling done in that game. I guess it was due to so many clones / Free-Mode Only characters getting pushed to the back of the line so to speak.

Whee thanks! been wanting to see that moveset in action!

And youre right... it does have a hint of Kiyomasa's... but it still looks mostly like Yue Yings...

Interesting :shifty:

Just becasue they would have it in stores doesn't mean that they would be selling it immediately. This happend with me a couple times when I would come in on tuesday and they wouldn't sell me the game until wendesday.

Anyways the dagger axe does seem to be an effective officer killing weapon with all the grapples it has.

So DLC weapons are weapons that are new movesets.

They come with full movesets, so does I think that means they have an EX attack but it can be used by everyone? And also no musou attaks
